"I wish I was Iran."----every American citizen ever.

Getting very interesting. It's interesting that the good guys painted a flattering picture of Page as things got moving. It seems calculated for effect, and a wise play given the metoo movement etc. Does the oppo now paint her as a jilted lovah of a humble servant of the people? If she's singing like she seems to be, they have to step it up and try to marginalize her.

I hate all the bs leading up to the ultimate resolution of stories like these. RI is the same to me as the nudnick who wrote the linked article, who is the same as the nudnick who posted the first tweet about this whole issue. Seems like a police matter, and every nudnick thus far involved has something to gain from this whole drama.

You know, this occurred to me a while back. The Russian government tries to take out a hostile Russian using a nerve agent that experts say was made in Russia and is so dangerous that basically only a Russian hit team could handle? Now, ordinary citizens in England are exposed to the same Russian toxins obviously placed in GB by Russians to kill former Russian spies who turned on Russians. It feels so much like the Russia collusion story, where Russian operatives infiltrated our political system for Russian gain to benefit Russians. I miss the old, pre2016 Russians who were just Russians, not the poison the former spy and enemy of the US Russians we found out about when Trump was elected. The old Russians were better than these new Russians. These new Russians do not seem very nice. Come to think of it, how come our Russians are so sneaky we need 2 years, a special investigator with unlimited resources a team of lawyers and the power to kick down doors and drag people away to uncover wrongdoing...and England's Russians leave the wrapper the poison came in with the words "MADE IN RUSSIA" at the scene? -
much is revealed when part of the agenda stated includes these words: "only those who have money win". rarely do 6 words strung together reveal such a profound misunderstanding of a concept as complicated as capitalism, and the writer's perspective on the relative value of an individual's self-worth.

Horowitz's DOJ IG Report
leh-nerd skin-erd replied to Deranged Rhino's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
It happened last week you id'jit. Btw, Tiberius is viewed as one of ancient Rome's great military minds. One can only assume he was deliberative, tactical and precise. You more closely approximate his brother, Imbecilicus, known for carrying large quantities of pebbles in his toga pockets so he would not fall off the earth if it turned upside down, speaking mostly gibberish, and being prone to outbursts that lacked substance and clarity. -

So, it takes senior counsel for the AG of the United States to realize that there might be a problem with the former President of the US having a closed meeting with one of the top law enforcement officials in the country, given an ongoing investigation into the ex-prez wife, herself a candidate for prez? On top of that, the AG appeared "uncomfortable" with the meeting but we are left to assume she didn't know how to end it, or God forbid, decline to take the meeting? This is leadership we should be comfortable with? Obama's admin, and the Clinto presidency waffled between extremely corrupt and incredibly, almost impossibly weak and inept. and btw, I watched the Rosenstein testimony and walked away thinking regardless of whether he is in the tank or not, he's the classic tough guy ass-kicker when the power is on his side, and comes off as small, petty and weak when the tables are turned. I would have expected more from him. -
The Deep State War Heats Up

I think the families of those murdered by any ms13 member probably appreciates this human interest angle about this misunderstood band of lovable kids. I don't know many people who wouldn't want to stop their attacker, look them in the eye and say "Hey, before you hack my arm off with that machete, are you a serious threat to all Americans, or just me?". what a disgrace. -
I disagree on this issue, and strongly. I think many, many women who would describe themselves as conservative would be be very concerned about this R. V Wade issue. I include in that group women who would never consider having an abortion themselves, but who would likely see this as going backwards as it relates to women's rights. I have no hard data to back this up, just a hunch based on conversations and feedback with many women. I do not believe there is any serious threat to the abortion issue nationally, cannot see any party looking to pick a fight with women in general, and firmly believe this I'd a fight that will be a loser.

this is a shell game, the oldest con in the book. Extremists are extreme, and most reasonable people can agree to disagree without shooting up a newspaper, a movie theater, a church full oh worshippers, or a softball game. The fringe is the fringe and always seems to find a way to do horrific sh-t like this. Wtf...

Sick today? Have you been near any embassies in/about China or Cuba? Have you been known to hang out in any plutonium processing facilities for work or recreational activity? -
I absolutely agree that Trump is not blameless. Though in the calm light of day nearly 2 years later, seeing the fallout from an FBI director making things up as he goes on the Clinton issue, it's fair to wonder if she should have been prosecuted. I also was always struck by Bernie Sanders silence when his supporters rushed the stage at trump rallies...which brings me back full circle to "they all do it in some way, shape form.". great piece, well-crafted, well written. I thought this part was spot on. words matter, context matters, and many in the media have raised manipulation to an art form with prose like "abnormal". The choice of diction is telling. Gopnik doesn’t call the administration evil, corrupt, or incompetent. He calls it abnormal. That requires a different response than the usual democratic one of criticism, investigation, and campaigning, all conducted through proper channels. Abnormality suspends the ordinary rules of engagement

You seem to know where you, exactly. I think you're correct..stupidity and hostility toward an opponent goes back to the beginning of time. And extremists of a particular stripes are similar to extremists of all stripes. I will say the most recent election reveals thus. Nary an objection was raised when Clinton hung all sorts of horrible descriptors on Candidate Trump, yet much was made when he returned the favor in kind. To be blunt, he treated her respectfully, as an equal, in approach and tone. She played the gender card, which is fine politically when trying to win an election, but soft as hell as a leader.

Rep. Joe Crowley beaten by a Bernie nobody

Don't we all owe something to someone in the larger sense? Thank you for your contribution, komrade. -
You've offered expert analysis and a compelling reason for the Trump admin to move slowly through this process. On your behalf I have called the White House to urge restraint in nominating the next Justice to the Supreme Court. The person I spoke with went to ask. .....hold for POTUS reply.... ....still holding....there seems to be a lot of discussion on this issue.... ....still on hold, My God you may have gotten their attention with the white protestant Christian line! They think it will play well in Peoria.... ...someone just picked up... Darn it. POTUS thought about it but decided to go in a different direction. He did say something like if things go south he'll let Mike decide. So close, so so close.

Haley opened its first overseas plant in 2014 (India) during the Obama administration. . Union mgmt criticized the move during the Obama admin, suggesting Harley was taking jobs from American workers. Harley planned for a plant in Thailand during the Obama admin, started construction on the any in May, 2017....because tariffs imposed by international players during the Obama made it extremely difficult for Harley to pimp their rides overseas. In fact, the company is looking to expand market share in the Asian market, was during the Obama admin, and now during the Trump admin. if you're just catching up, things happened before Pravda reported Trump screwing Harley today.

i agree with you on this issue, she could be a centrist for all we know. And that's the most disturbing point about this sort of thing. She could hate Baptists, hate construction workers and hate successful women who disagree with her. She could employ 2 gay individuals, 5, none or all. What struck me about this particular deal is the collective, team decision to kick 8 people out because they didn't like one of them. The owner comes off sounding like a nitwit, up to and including the bizarre discussion about comping the appetizers after SHS said she would pay for what she ordered. In this case, shs takes the high road, and the restaurant goes to the gutter...making you wonder...if shs refused to leave, how far would a crowd that demanded she leave for what she thinks go in making her uncomfortable? Would they taint the food? Undercook the boneless wings? Spit in the food? boogers? Blood? I have never understood a business taking this sort of action for any individual/group.
