Cody Ford personal foul defending Allen
leh-nerd skin-erd replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The jump from a rookie defensive lineman scuffling with a defensive player in a one-off and drawing a flag in a winning outing to heroin usage seems extreme. Meth, maybe. But let's not get crazy here. -
It just felt different today

"No faking to keep me happy" in the context of being a Bills fan is hysterical! HB, a good one to be sure. -
My experience has been dramatically different. The people I have met from the lower Hudson valley have been a lot like the people I grew up with in WNY. Good people who typically love their family and just talk kinda funny. In my case, lots of giant fans genuinely seem to pull for the Bills when it doesn't impact the Gmen, probably because they recognize the long-suffering nature of Bills fandom. Cant say so much about the college years, but in those days guys can be pretty stupid across the board. I do have a friend who is a mouthy jets fan though, I hadn't heard from him last week so I sent our group a text asking if anyone had seen the game because I inadvertently deleted the game after recording it during work. His reply was hysterical and if I understood him through the rant, it can be summarized as "f every living thing". Thank you Josh Allen!

Oh that's not all at all. He deserves more!! BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!! BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO... -
I agree only if 45 is the new 80. We agree on Biden. He's a 2x× nomination loser for a reason, and coherence is part of that because at times he seems very likable.

I guess I'm confused on hold Sanders appears to be on your tv? He presents as about 87 on my screen, even with the man-of-the-people-absent-minded professor shtick he's perfected on his way to becoming a filthy rich politician. I think Biden looks pretty good all things considered. He clearly didn't go to Maury's Wig Emporium for the weave, whatever nips and tucks he's had probably weren't done in Scranton, and he keep himself in good shape. It's when he starts talking that it all falls apart, and the bloodied eyeball isn't a great look.

To stop people from gaming the system, you would have to shoot them right after you gave them the $1000 and take it back. See comments like "you would almost want to be disabled, if that makes sense.". The pitch is based on the theory that if enough people think a vote for Randy Andy is a vote for $12,000, maybe enough people want the $12k that Randy Andy carries the day. And heck if they can pull off "disabled" it's like Christmas every day.

I think the whole idea of a civil lawsuit is to get a nice settlement, or in the alternative, a nice award. The fact that she wants to pursue that avenue could mean anything from "I don't want to put myself through the grinder of a criminal matter but I want his head on a platter" to she's a spurned woman who wants to cash in. Hard to say. There are some large pharmaceutical companies headquartered in--- Ah, never mind.

I had Howard Stern on as well, on my way to get my car washed. I tuned on to hear them talking about a plane accidentally hitting the tower and as they spoke, I believe Robyn Quivers said "another plane just hit the tower" followed by Howard's declaration "We're under attack!". We lost some people in our extended circle. A friend lost his childhood friend who we'd hung out with over the years, an employee at Cantor. Another friend lost their soon-to-be daughter-in-law. We have close friends who live in a NJ town that lost many people. And the other stories, the near misses--our neighbors own a liquor store and were on the train in for a wine tasting at the Trade center, and if I remember correctly the event was on the top floor, outside maybe? Got down as far as White Plains when the attacks occurred. What a $#!@ing crazy time.

Henry Anderson cheap shot. UNREAL
leh-nerd skin-erd replied to *******'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I would have supported charges being brought against Gronk. The "heat of the moment" defense works for many cases imo, slamming a guy's head into the ground when he's laying face down after a play is not one of them. When you cause injury on top of it, f gronk. -
What I keep hearing Bills players repeating
leh-nerd skin-erd replied to Buffalo716's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Using this standard though, what could ever be said that wouldn't be meaningless? Its football. I have to feed my family. Do your job. The Buffalo Beels are a good football team. 55 is the Mike! Omaha Omaha! I jack my d#@! on your back! Slept with u n bed. All pretty much the same old hash. -

I'd like to hear what Anderson was thinking when he found himself outside the play, on the ground, after the ball was thrown and he crawled over and rolled onto the QBs legs. What was he feeling? Anger? Angst? Frustration? When we get to know a person, we can judge him by the content of his character and not the color of his uniform. I think he's probably just misunderstood. -
Should Shaq be starting instead of Trent Murphy?
leh-nerd skin-erd replied to GreggTX's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
When the defense plays as well as they id yesterday, cannot one reasonably infer that the coaches are doing a good job with scheme and personnel? -
Can you imagine how much longer it would take to get over the bridges at rush hour if it did? As it is it backs up to 4 and both 2s. ??

Human beings often reach for the pinnacle of success and fall just short. There are many reasons why, and Lodish might well be recounting things as he recalls them. Tasker may well be doing the same, and as an aside, I don't understand some of the hostility directed his way. He was clued in enough to know his role and to perform at a level that some folks think qualifies him for the HoF. It was a joy to watch him play. As for JK and the rest, yes, the SB losses sucked but that/those team(s) was/were amazing. As for Marv, well, that's a special guy and we were lucky to have him. Much more egregious, if I may be bold, is a Bills fan with a screen name "WIDE LEFT". You do what you want, but speaking only for me, I don't take wide turns, I won't even go into a double wide, and Buffalo Wild Wings can GTH because it sounds an awful lot like they say "Buffalo Wide Wings" on the commercial. I only turn left (oddly I end up in Seattle quite often), when I agree with someone I tell them "you're not wrong" and I self-identify as being "other-handed". SHAME!

Examining Allen Expectations

Over how many games? -
Thank God we have Beane as GM and ge did not pursue AB at all costs? Thank God we have Beand as a GM who would at least consider adding an elite talent at a position of need as opposed to dismissing it out of hand? For all we know, the culture of the team and quality of the coaches in WNY might have impacted AB to the positive. Then again maybe he would have lost it and taken hostages on the Peace Bridge.
