  1. I don’t think that works on impeachment. As one poster suggested in the aftermath of the vote, many, many people likely thought Trump had to pack his bags after it all went down. The general public has little to no confidence in our politicians to start, in the warm glow of the realization that the FBI was dirty in pursuing Russia, with Nancy Pelosi struggling to articulate what the $#@& is actually going on, and with Trump’s prodigious capacity to hammer home a point in 140 characters or less, and tossing in the actual rules on impeachment, I think they fail miserably with that message. Plus, the ace in the hole, Trump yelling loudly”let’s get to it!” to be replaced with “this is BS”.
  2. I just saw a reply from Barr on tv, but the sound was turned down. I don’t read lips, but to me, it looked like he said “Ruck my Rick”, or maybe “Trucksmy chick”? DR, you’re an Emmy nominated writer, can you make sense of either of those?
  3. The situation is fluid. One person’s “shrewd” is another’s opportunity. We haven’t gotten nearly as far along as we need to on declass. I was so frustrated waiting for Trump to release information to help his cause with The Russia narrative. Turns out the wise tactical move was to simply wait it out. I’d think the same strategy applies, and the wild card remains that Trump has access to all the secrets of the nation. Between what we know is coming (Barr has been pretty clear which way he’s leaning, the FBI would be in shambles if it’s leadership had an ounce of ethical self-awareness), and the situation evolves. Lets dig into the Brennan-Obama CIA a bit, see where the bodies are buried. Anyway, where we are today is not where we’ll be tomorrow. There was a time when fraud and malfeasance on the part of the FBI would have earned widespread condemnation and outrage from all across the country. Now, leftists yawn. Same with the impeachment of DJT. The reality is the concept has lost its luster, and many Americans are torn between ::yawn:: and disgust at the dems.
  4. Seriously, she sounds like she’s hammered. “You’re starting to act like another country”??
  5. I think he’s correct. He goes to San Clemente now, per protocol.
  6. Interestingly, they will be screaming about how important it is to trust law enforcement, how a few simple mistakes in pursuing the right to surveil Americans granted by a secretive court that operates in the shadows is no big deal, and how, you know, Trump Trumps.
  7. You’ve developed quite an odd collection of e-stalkers. ?
  8. Thanks, that was my assumption based on what Darin wrote and the way that play played out. Weird time for that flag to fly, but it worked out. Took another 18 months off my life, but whatevs.
  9. That play was over in the blink of an eye, with no gain or as I recall a loss. Not to get too crazy on this one, but Was he engaged with an o lineman from the Steeler and driven to the dirt, or engaged with one and he reached out and grabbed another defensive player for an obvious hold? It’s just such an odd play to have a holding call when an RB is smothered that quickly.
  10. Excellent interview from a guy who seems both hungry and humble. Pay him indeed!
  11. On that note...I am not built for prison. I shall pass. Though, I'm 2onderingbif DirecTV will have it on. I have the ticket.
  12. It’s hard to duplicate that “throw the bottle through the screen” feeling at a bar.
  13. I had that filed under “Speed Bag-10 minutes” but I see your point.
  14. He was calling Rex, told him “THIS ain’t no slap-dick football.”
  15. For what seemed to me like an eternity, they blathered on about the Rooney connection. They ran a graphic with the original Rooney--Mickey, I think his name was, and he died in 1988. 1988. It was like watching the History channel. And then more yapping. The thing was, the Bills had the ball. The game was close, put the $#@!ing game on and analyze the plays/players on the field. It's fine to talk about Terry Bradshaw when the discussion about an enlarged prostate comes about, but you have to figure 50% in attendance do not give a crap about a history lesson in the middle of a playoff-relevant game. You wanna talk Steeler history? Do it at a break. And sprinkle in a little Bills history, ya mutt ya. Maddening.
  16. The change may well come some day, but there is always something about something and talented people sometimes just find a way to f things up. Doesn't make them bad people, but it just is what it is. He's gone, and there wasn't nothing nobody could do about it.
  17. Fair enough, I wasn't picking. I remember some penalties early last season but this year I can't really think of many. I think last week he took one for a late hit, borderline call but whatever. I think he's played smart this year.
  18. What's the "emotions getting the better of him at times" part? The guy plays hard, plays for his teammates and encourages the fans to be involved. His emotions contribute to the success hes having. Give me guys who give a crap every time.
  19. Don't forget about Singletary's fumble as well to snuff out a good drive lead by JA. If someone thinks that's not all on Josh, well they don't know nothing about nothing.
  20. Independent thinking is overrated. I just go with the group. Everyone wins.
  21. Interesting, thanks. I googled, well duck ducked, Irving Janis to read up a bit. Interestingly, he was a native of Buffalo. You probably knew that.
  22. The fallout for sandbagging Trump, in light of the FBI/DOJ crusade to take him out, in light of the sham impeachment debate that appears to be unable even to carry the entire opposition party, coupled with the Horowitz report and Barr/Durham comments from last week make this seem extremely unlikely. Like...civil unrest and full-on rebellion unlikely.
