  1. Spectrum is the Clint Eastwood of internet service providers. You stepped to the High Plains Drifter, ya durn fool!
  2. As we can see, the answer to this abject failure of the Biden administration is that those who supported Biden now look to deflect blame over the last several presidencies. One of the common denominators, of course, is Joe Biden as a major political player through it all. The Taliban knew the only real concern with Biden in the White House was getting blamed for burning it down when he placed his keys in the microwave. But seriously—God Bless the true believers looking for the good old days of establishment politics. Tally so far: -Joe’s got a “great plan” for distributing the Trump vaccine, said plan being to $&@& it up. -Joe’s expertise in foreign policy and the relationships he’s forged over 5 decades reveals an incredible aptitude to be caught on tape totally misjudging a complex situation like that in Afghanistan. -Inflation rat$&$&ing the middle class. What a numbskull.
  3. Biggest poser in American politics today. He may have believed what he espouses back when he was a filthy-footed full-boat commie, but those days are long gone. To quote the inimitable Jimmy Buffet “…warm summer breezes and French wines and cheeses, put his ambition at bay…”. He caught fire because he’s a caricature. Old guy, unruly white hair, funny NYC accent, appeals to kids who’s lefty parents were successful enough to send them to private school and righty parents who’s kids don’t realize they are one generation removed from poverty, thinking you can have the Bernie life if we all just came together against powerful and wealthy corporatists…which is really what Bernie is today. The corporation he in part oversees is simply called US Gov—with customers He stood down while HRC got the nod, makes you wonder who he kneels before in private. You did, however, catch the political eye of the politically seductive @ComradeKayAdams, soon to beguiling you with Green New Deals where you eat only free range goat cheese brioche and wear Earth Shoes made from recycled tires from 2015 and newer Beemers, likely the car Bernie or his spouse drives when the lens is not shined on him. I swear to God if you grow a straggly beard, start showering only when “Momma Earth cries over climate change” and wear a shirt declaring “VEGAN? VE CAN!” I’m coming for you.
  4. When I first dated my wife, I told her I made $786,000 a year as a stockbroker on Wall Street. I told her after she had committed that I actually made $9,400 as a part-time register clerk at Mighty Taco, and that Wall Street wasn’t in Cheektowaga. To her credit, she was very understanding and realized I was just embellishing a bit because she was a 9 and I was a 4.
  5. I recall hearing this somewhere: “Arrogance when you are The man against boys can work. Arrogance when you are a man amongst men can be problematic.” I think it’s Pythagorean theory. Or, maybe, Dr. Phil.
  6. Why are you asking my opinion if you’re predetermined to be prickly about the reply? It’s a bit hurtful, makes me sad and makes you an untrustworthy dialogue companion. We may be at a crossroads here.
  7. N🤐 Answer, naturally. Indeed.
  8. Under duress, it seems clear he would have flipped if he has something, he did not. How much? Because it’s the wise thing to do. Cuomo has been in office for decades. He was protected and enabled for decades. You’re silly.
  9. I haven’t ready Billy’s reply yet, it’s always fun to read his conspiracy theories on how Trump narrowly escaped prosecution because the Hoover Dam failed, or the regular teacher was sick that day and they had a sub, or Munchausen By Proxy. Looking forward to it!!!
  10. In a post discussing COVID 19, I discussed a former president and his social influencer pro vax pro post vax mask friends getting together in a large group when the current president and his group is suggesting that’s dangerous behavior. Your response was in part “whataboutism and Trump and stuff?”. Since I don’t subscribe to the internet lowest common denominator of “whataboutism” being something to fear, I asked you directly to be more specific about Trump. I didn’t backbend, somersault, dodge, evade or triple lutz…I just asked for clarity, so I could share my opinion in response to your whatabout Trump question. Your reply was “Trump and vaccines”, which I found to be a bit broad, but opted to push ahead since you extended the courtesy of a reply. I summarized my point of view, never claimed the mantle of objectivity, I just told you what I thought. I didn’t ask you to concur, call you Sponge Bob Stupid Pants if you disagreed, I just answered a very broad question understanding the purposeful nature of asking a question that would be interpreted differently by every person who tried to answer. Now, I see the real question has nothing to do with development of vaccine, getting it to market, or anything like that. You just wanted to know my thoughts on whether or not Trump should have been vaccinated on live television, and whether or not he should be out selling the vaxx protocol. Here’s my direct reply to those questions: 1. I don’t think it matters if he actively promotes the vaccine or not. Damage was done to the psyche of the American people when Harris and the like were trashing the program preemptively in late 2020. Trump supporters know he was vaccinated, know the landscape and decide to vaxx or not as they see fit. Those that hate and despise Trump likely would conclude there was something nefarious afoot since they were previously warned not to trust the vaxx developed during the Trump admin. 2. It’s irrelevant whether or not Trump was vaccinated privately or in a breaking news segment when Old Man Sundancer was watching “Father Knows Best” on the console. It’s not 1964 Gramps.
  11. I offered to provide thoughts on any Trump-related subject that was of interest to you. I did that several days ago and didn’t hear back until now. My comments on the somewhat obvious hypocrisy on the Obama birthday bash were specific to the birthday bash. Your query today is overly broad in that “Trump and Vaccines” spans nearly a year and took several twists and turns, but here are my thoughts generally: -Early on, Trump’s leadership skills were poor, and I would give him a grade of F. He was all over the page on describing what we were facing as a nation, he allowed himself to be victimized by his political opponents and at the end of the day, he was THE guy responsible for shaping the National response. His voice as not loud enough, not clear enough and as a result it was chaotic. As the crisis played out, he did better, organized an exceptional government response to working with key players in the industry responsible for developing and implementing a response. I would give him an A for his performance there, especially in light of the hyper-politicization of virus management by dem political operatives working to sow seeds of chaos, mistrust in the science/vaccine development. I think on the political side, he missed opportunities to point out the disconnect between what D operatives were saying (COVID is a threat to our survival!) and their actions in support of mass gatherings that were clearly superspreader events, at least in context at the time, which certainly lead to a substantial increase in transmission and death. I think Trump’s teeing up the vaxxs gave Biden a substantial leg up in the fight against COVID, allowed for what should have been a slam dunk across the board, and Biden fumbled it quite badly. Trump gets an A+ here, Biden an F for allowing his sycophants to encourage distrust of the vaxx is Trump was Prez v Biden in office. He has been very weak in that regard.
  12. I work with a personal intimacy coach. She’s $1,500 an hour and tells me she’s up to date on health insurance, legalities and vaccinations/shots. Nice lady—Dr. Candi. I think she’s from Brazil.
  13. That evil prick and his wife set it all up to take the loss. He’s playing 5D chess and winning.
  14. Speaking only for myself, I’m going to have to devote some serious time to improving my core if I’m going to commit to Reverse-Crab-Walk-Girl-on-Top while fully masked. They call it the widowmaker in some cultures for a reason.
  15. Thanks for putting words in my mouth. Thanks for clarifying your thoughts on Florida. It’s good to find common ground once in a while.
  16. We have had a tendency of late to shed dem governors for wrongdoing the last few years. Maybe it’s the vetting process?
  17. See to me, these are very fair questions. When placed in context, it’s not at all surprising that people question the need for the vaccine.
  18. Not like a lawn jart to the skull! GOOD NIGHT ALBANY!!
  19. I’m not a medical professional, but have quite a few family members who are. Family members in nursing are uniformly vaccinated, some with reservations in the early stages, all comfortable with the decision post-jab. Interestingly, a pediatrician in the family is pro-vax, but not aggressively so. Her husband and 20 yo son have not been vaccinated, both had COVID late last year. Anyway, to your point—the second bullet point is spot on. The danger for folks like me is that the devil is in the details—I don’t want to be misled one way or the other—have we changed the approach to gathering data to report COVID, and if so, why? I decided to check on the current status on health care businesses requiring the vax. https://www.beckershospitalreview.com/workforce/cleveland-clinic-upmc-among-systems-holding-off-on-covid-19-vaccine-mandates.html As of 8/6, some high profile providers are still holding the line and recognizing the sanctity of individual choice for employees. This begs the question for the militaristic pro-vax crowd here, like @oldmanfan——are these providers complicit in the spread, or do they simply recognize the very difficult choices their employees face? If complicit, would you consider removing the children of the management team in charge of such decisions for placement in protective custody as you’ve ruminated for other pro-free-will individuals?
  20. Wait—so we’re not getting any of Jeff Billion’s Bezos? I’m 5 pages into this mo’fo, this is &*&&* *&$&*.
  21. Fair question. There were mobs all last summer, angry af, targeting law enforcement and citizens alike. There were photos of angry protestors on a house roof in Albany, peering in. Angry mob confronted diners at street side restaurants. Angry mobs stop traffic, surrounded cars, tried to burn down police stations with people inside. Angry mobs shot fireworks at law enforcement officers. In most every case, the officers in and around the area, and the civilians accosted exercised restraint and did not fire into the neck of unarmed individuals/angry mobsters. In virtually every case we’ve had over the past few years, the frame by frame debrief of actions and thought processes provides analysis up to and including our current president suggesting something like this: “Yeah, the officer was in danger, but he should have aimed at the foot.” It’s been 7 months. We aren’t even entitled to the name of the officer and an explanation as to why an unarmed woman was dispatched by a highly skilled marksman while other officers milled about with the group? Where are all the foot-shot advocates these days?
  22. You got money, just be sure to wrap that rascal.
  23. Sure, and we’re back full circle to whether or not the shooting of AB was justified, necessary and all things considered, righteous. When you look at the microscope most law enforcement shootings are viewed under, it’s very strange this isn’t getting that type of scrutiny. Michael Brown roughs up a store clerk 50% of his size, attacks a police officer in his police car in an attempt to seize his gun, leaves, charges the officer and is shot and all he’ll breaks loose. He’s the poster child for making really bad life choices, placed an officer in a “it’s you or me” scenario and is STILL considered a martyr after a DOJ investigation. AB is an averaged sized female, unarmed based on the investigation and is shot in the neck and…crickets. I was with you all along, but this scenario makes no sense whatsoever.
