I'm a big believer in the people producing the movie/production choosing who they want to play the part. I think people not producing, financing nor contributing to the production beyond observer are welcome to their opinion, but it's mostly irrelevant. I also think your bias is showing when the dark-skinned actress has to be an orphan. Plus, orphan's always have red hair and freckles, I think.

Applying critical thinking skills, it would seem unlikely that law enforcement wouldn't have a source/plant in the crowd. Law enforcement partnered with notorious gangster Whitey Bulger, for example. I'm not always sure that's the wisest idea, or morally correct, and surely innocent people are victimized as a result, but it is what it is. Bottom line for me, he's neither villain nor hero to me. I'm not so certain that relying on the thoughts of these particular relatives is necessarily where you want to get your intel.
