  1. Gosh dude….you think there are no special favors, treatment or allies unless the President is of the same party? That’s mind numbingly, almost criminally simple. It does explain the traction a single ***** hair can offer though.
  2. Hunter hasn’t been fair game anywhere along the line, BillSy. He was protected by the US government with Burisma, protected by the dem establishment during the election of 2020, protected by the entirety to the Intelligence community, and protected from prosecution for several years by the DOJ…and now being protected by you, now. He’s been above the law, BillSy, and even now, the assignment of a sp counsel who was comfortable with a handshake and easy plea shows he gets taken care of like and insider. Just be sure he’s your guy, you should want justice.
  3. It’s the game, Chi. Such is life. 🤷🏼‍♂️ Put away the yearbook, Friend. It’s not 1991, and the great ***** hair conspiracy has simply morphed into the latest crazy conspiracy theory.
  4. I heard this argument last night on a talk radio show… quoting Andrew Sullivan. It makes sense, of course, that a Special counsel might be special. The point was also made that as a member of the DOJ, Weiss is investigating the son of his boss and perhaps by extension, his boss. Finally, it should be noted that Weiss was apparently assigned SC status due to the unusual nature of the alleged crimes. I don’t understand that— two weeks ago an allegedly perfectly crafted plea bargain designed to serve justice similar to whatever regular guy on the street might get if he failed to declare millions in income, partnered with hostile government, illegally possessed a handgun and discarded it without regard to public safety—why would a SC be required? Once the determination was made, why assign the guy who f’d this simple case up enough that a judge had to intervene to see it through? I’ll bet John from Riverside is hurting for Hunter today.
  5. What he’s going to say back is that as a guy who got really lucky in life, the ability of people to overcome obstacles and tragic events in life impresses the heck out of me. In fact, when you and I first discussed things a few years back, it changed the way I approached certain topics, online and in person*. Drac’s story here provides context and experiences that likely will do the same. I’m trying to keep learning, Mup, that’s all. Ps: no idea what MUWAH means, but it sounds dirty.
  6. Forgot to mention…met Robin Quivers at a mall somewhere along the way. 1986, 87 maybe. She seemed like a nice lady based on the 300 seconds or so we spoke.
  7. B, he threatened an assassination, and according to reports, pointed his weapon at law enforcement officers. I’m all for a review of the fact pattern, release of tapes, etc. That should tell us a lot. I’m all for a review of alternative options to take him into custody. It does seem odd that law enforcement would visit him the day before the raid without warrants, given that they thought he posed a grave threat to pretty much anyone. It’s possible we have another example of a militarized law enforcement and using a tank to solve a problem when a 2005 Impala would have worked , and it’s certainly fair to discuss other options to take him in without an early morning raid. However, it seems clear this guy was gravely mentally ill, heavily armed and was moving rapidly toward an unfortunate end.
  8. I lived in the lower Hudson Valley throughout the 1980s. My job involved a lot of driving, and Howard was must listen for me in those days. There were times I took an extra turn or two to catch the rest of a segment to the break. Rented his pay per view, read his book etc. I’m in the camp of thinking he stopped being funny quite a while ago. Probably a natural thing when you’re worth several hundred million and realize you’re best known for sophomoric humor and you haven’t been a sophomore for 50 years. Still a great interviewer though.
  9. What an amazing journey and thanks for sharing. I don’t deal with these issues but it always helps to understand what others might be going through.
  10. ❤️✊🏻Muppito.
  11. For goodness sake Red, I’m pulling for you but there are only so many notches. Lesser. Is, as, and approximating a value smaller in size.
  12. And…many a lesser man watched as he was confirmed.
  13. What would make you think he would he show any restraint whatsoever? He's facing life in prison, are they going to tack 90 days on because he said some mean things about Jack Smith? Get out the popcorn. We might find out who really killed JFK (and worse) before this is over.
  14. I'd get out the popcorn.
  15. Thankfully no time limits for bring charges is involved. Let's get this right! It's not so much that Hunter and JB are above the law, more like they are beside it.
  16. Well, in fairness, I dropped a reference to Ashli Babbitt in a thread about a shooting in Utah several years later, absent context. I can understand and appreciate his response.
  17. You’re correct here, I was in line at a bank and typed quickly. I agree with you on law enforcement being fired upon, but it goes beyond that. You mentioned law enforcement getting shot at, and support them shooting back. In the Ashli Babbitt case, she was unarmed and shot by an officer. I should have asked what your thoughts were in that situation, where the officer was not being fired upon. It’s a complicated issue.
  18. Then you feel Ashli Babbitt was the victim, John? She was unarmed.
  19. Dude, yes! Comply with reasonable requests from law enforcement! The grand illusion of safety in our towns and cities requires that we respond reasonably to requests of this nature. On the other hand, law enforcement must act reasonably as well. There will be tapes of this encounter, and assuming law enforcement acted appropriately, we should move on. Let's see what happened. At the same time, this should be the standard always. With people like Michael Brown, Jacob Blake and the like, that doesn't seem to be the standard most democrats want to employ. In those cases, the micromanagement of police actions in dangerous situations bubble up, and the concept of shooting people in the foot is raised. I'd think we would agree that this guy in Utah should have been afforded due process, and reasonable options to de-escalate the situation should have been considered. To be clear, I would assume the actions by law enforcement were reasonable. That said, it sounds like the neighborhood became a shooting gallery at 6am, so it's reasonable to ask...was it reasonable?
  20. It seems complicated, like those toys I used to put together for children at Christmas. Do this. Do that. Find bolt II, which could be 11, of which there are 18 when there should be 20. Page 4. Click. click. click. Besides, I'll follow you just to spite ya. On the bright side, I know how you feel.
  21. You downthumbing mo'fo! I'm actually the victim! Carry on though!
  22. I don't see gender. Witchlocks or Wartches--no issues so long as they don't cast their spells on me.
  23. On the other hand, you could not tag him at all. Just a thought for the greater good.
