  1. Tom, try adding something to the conversation sometime
  2. OK, one more.... Yes, if there were problems with the warrant, by all means let's investigate, hold violators accountable, and improve the process for the future. I don't think our government should be spying on citizens without just cause. The problem I have is that many are using the dossier's inclusion in the warrant to say there is no reason now to investigate Trump because of the origin of the dossier. For god's sake, even hyper partisan Gowdy says the FISA/dossier issue should not invalidate the Trump-Russia investigation. So, as long as we can continue to investigate both issues, I am fine with digging a lot deeper into the FISA warrant process and holding any criminals accountable.
  3. What? Your tale relies on massive conspiracies. You have so many people conspiring that it stretches credulity and now the press is all in on it too. I have not looked at all of the evidence you presented (yet) but the general problem is that your solution is so much more complicated than what I see as the truth. The much more simple explanation is more likely, imo. Well, I am signing out for tonight. Sleep well.
  4. Aren't you sort of ignoring the timeline and the sequence of events. Trump signed this 8/2/17. Quite a few events related to the investigation have taken place between June of 2016 (Don Jr meeting) and August of 2017 that may have changed the original plan. Once the plan was discovered, it couldn't all be carried out without looking more guilty
  5. Too bad he likely won't testify. Speaking for myself, I would love to see him on the stand, giggling away. Then I would like to see him answer Mueller's questions.
  6. No, I am presenting the likely scenario for the Russian election conspiracy, as I understand it. The Russians helped get Trump elected in exchange for softening of the sanctions. My prior post suggested how both ends of that transaction could have taken place. Is that what happened? We don't know yet. Also, I am not demanding anything. I have asked repeatedly however what conspiracy evidence would be good enough for you. Wanna answer that yet?
  7. You don't know what happened in that meeting any more than I do. To say there was no colluding taking place is ridiculous. To say that we all should take Trump Jr's word for things is unsound advice given his record to misrepresent the truth. I thought Trump's Ms Universe buddy, Rob Goldstone, set up the Trump tower meeting, at least according to the released emails. You are saying that the dems and deep state actors coerced or tricked him into doing this to trap Trump? Doesn't sound as plausible as the explanation that Trump Jr wanted dirt on Hillary from the Russians. Also, I would like you to answer my questions from the post you quoted. You didn't really answer any of them. Chiefly, why all the lies and backpedaling and why do they all seem to relate to Russians?
  8. Lest I be accused of ducking our conversation, I am hopping out to fix and eat dinner. I will think about this and respond later
  9. The Trump Jr - Russian meeting is fact, right? Also factual is that the administration and Trump have repeatedly lied regarding the purpose and participants in that meeting. Why all the deception if there was nothing to conceal? Perhaps they were trying to conceal the fact that they were willing to work with Russians to help Trump win. Recall Trump Jr's email chain? Now, if the Russians actually helped and got something in return for this help, that would be a conspiracy, would it not? Trump Jr had contacts with Wikileaks about utilizing the hacked emails, right or not? Flynn's talk with the Russians was about removing Obama placed sanctions, right or not? Why are these facts not evidence of any possible collusion to you? I realize that not everything has yet to be made public but to me there seems to be lots of evidence of collusion. Why are all the lies around Russia - Flynn, Trump Jr, Sessions, Papa, etc, etc? If the lies are accidents or coincidences, shouldn't there be sort a distribution among all countries? That has to raise questions to the most willfully blind.
  10. Well, I need to know how you are defining evidence. I would like to see you declare what would be convincing evidence so I can point back to the post in another couple of months when you try to say that new evidence uncovered wasn't sufficient to prove any collusion. I don't have any further evidence than you do. The Mueller investigation has not released its findings. That is where I think you will eventually see evidence presented.
  11. A hero? Good one. What about not reporting his income from Russia and Turkey? Got a convoluted half assed reason for that too? Guess if he declared that the whole deep state might have just taken over then and there. Another possibility is that he got corrupted after a long and honorable career and just wanted more money. Not real heroic To say there was no better way to expose corruption in the FISA warrant process than to lie to the FBI is not credible either. Let me ask you, what in your mind would be evidence of collusion to you? What are you looking to see? Is it a video with Trump and Putin talking this over or is there something less that would convince you?
  12. Well, there are those indictments - Manafort for laundering and Flynn for lying about talking to Russians about sanctions. The source of the indictments is pretty clear
  13. The slowly boiling frog comes to mind. Many of these posters defending Trump are so dug in that they cannot step back and look objectively at all of the indications of Russian contacts. They keep trying to find angles that allow them to discount evidence rather than taking a look at the evidence. Like defense lawyers they defend their client instead of acting like honest jurors. If Trump gets away with 'high crimes and misdemeanors', what's next? It seems to me that he will be emboldened to bend the law repeatedly to benefit himself, his family, and his buddies. After backing him in spite of Russian election conspiracy, where will congressional defenders draw the line? Money laundering? Ethics violations?
  14. wasn't sure where to stash this until I saw this thread. Thx I especially enjoyed the AKA's for the characters. Also though, does lay out the theory fairly well. Billl Maher's Take on the Russian Collusion/Conspiracy Edit: Should mention that he uses some rough language, so NSFW
  15. Much smaller scale of course, but aren't you folks using this 'platform' to express your political opinions? So, if it is fine for you, why is it not OK for celebrities to use a platform available to them to express their opinions?
  16. Regarding that draft ammunition.... while they have lots of holes, I would like to see the Bills roll over some of the additional picks so that next year and the year after, they have a little extra ammunition. When opportunity knocks, it nice to have the 'cash' on hand rather than using credit - i.e. your future base picks - to be able to move up and grab a player that has fallen.
  17. Jeff Sessions decides to reverse Cole Memo. Ugh! http://www.cnn.com/2018/01/04/politics/jeff-sessions-cole-memo/index.html
  18. You appear to have missed the point. Take note that the article mentions CBD, as opposed to just saying cannabis. THC, the prominent cannabinoid in nearly all recreational cannabis, can cause anxiety. CBD, a lessor cannabinoid in most strains, can help relieve anxiety. If a particular strain has little CBD to offset a high level of THC, it can induce anxiety in some people.
  19. According to Leafly.com, here is some of the more notable cannabis health news of 2017. Part 1 is CBD only while part 2 discusses all cannabinoids, including THC. part 1 (cbd) part 2
  20. I am usually against censorship unless one person has overrun a message board
  21. This was kinda funny... a spoof commercial for Bitcoin https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aeMv9uKpAZg
  22. I too have been railing on this point. My buddy who goes to the games with me is a little tired of hearing it I think. Aside from the fact Tate rarely gets to the 20, as said, penalties often set us back inside the 15. On top of that, the risk of a fumble needs to be considered as well as the risk of player injuries. Given all of the possible negatives, I wish he would take a knee whenever possible.
  23. Baby steps from the Veterans Administration https://www.forbes.com/sites/tomangell/2017/12/19/v-a-issues-new-medical-marijuana-policy-for-military-veterans/# From the article It also specifies that the directive only prohibits use of medical marijuana by V.A. employees, not patients who don't work for the department. "Veterans must not be denied VHA services solely because they are participating in State-approved marijuana programs," it says.
  24. Anybody ever get too drunk and sick when they first tried drinking alcohol? I know I did. Still can't taste whiskey to this day without recalling. Early cannabis use is similar and then some. The wise thing to do is to start low and go slow. You risk perhaps not getting enough, but that is way, way better than getting too much. Over time you will be able to home in on your tolerances, just as most have done with alcohol. Cannabis affects different people much differently and so is difficult to dose both medically and in an adult use situation. In addition, the differing strains of cannabis can add to the dosing difficulties as the mix of cannabinoids changes with different strains.
