Have you ever seen a defendant in court with more than one charge? Why would a prosecutor do that? Why did the fool prosecutor waste money to gather other charges? Hmm, a real stumper ya got there.
-
DR, you win. Congrats. I wasn't really in a fight but I guess if you were and I quit, you win. Now, right after Hannity get some warm milk and get up to bed. Clearly you have been working way too hard and could use a good night's sleep. Maybe all those logical flaws will just pop out at you in the light of the morning. To claim that the Trump-Russia investigation being done by Mueller should be stopped because of your unproven theory is idiotic. I'm done. Time will tell if Mueller finds anything. Maybe I will check back in after his report

The election conspiracy, even if true, would be the most difficult of those 3 to prove. The obstruction of justice is as clear as crystal at this point, imo. Just use Trumps own words The money laundering may be what catches Trump though, agreed. I think his financial dealings need to be examined just because if you have someone in debt to another party, 'special favors' to that party may be part of the conspiracy. How do you say 'too funny' in Russian?
-
This is the 'Trump and Russia' thread, is it not?
-
I lose? Funny. I don't think the entire story has been told yet. Why don't you answer any of the questions posed? You just throw more crap at the wall like yesterday when the Strzok texts were the story. Didn't Rob Goldstone set up the Trump Jr meeting? Is he part of the trap Trump conspiracy? Why did everyone feel compelled to lie about the Trump tower meeting? Why did the participants in that meeting need to evolve to the number we have today? Why the lies? Why did Papadopolous lie about his contacts with the Russians? Why did Trump choose Flynn in spite of all the warnings? Your explanation of why he 'had to lie to the FBI' was ludicrous so no need to repeat that. Why all the forgetfulness about Russian contacts. Surely there was some coordinated effort to conceal Russian contacts, why? And, why not forgetfulness about France or Canada or Malaysia? Hmm, always Russia. I could go on for quite a while. Try pointing me to your answers to those questions while I compile another list of questions that the Trump investigators need to answer. Thanks for your help Btw, just how many are involved in our theoretical conspiracy? Seems to be hundreds.

Stepping back from the details, why not welcome the investigation to clear the air? When Mueller comes out and states he found no wrongdoing and the administration is vindicated, you all can climb up on your roof and crow about how right you were all along. If it were me under investigation and I knew I would be cleared if only Mueller could complete the investigation, I surely would want the investigation to go to completion so that I got my official exoneration. On the other hand if I knew I was guilty and likely to be caught if the investigation continued, I would enlist disciples to distract, undermine credibility of investigators, and throw out a bunch of 'yeah, but whatabouts'.....like we see

Da, comrade!

Look loon, if you want to have a discussion that is fine. If you want to insult, fine too. I will repeat this one more time. investigate all the damn conspiracy theories you like. To claim that the Trump-Russia investigation being done by Mueller should be stopped because of your unproven theory is idiotic.
-
Yes. Trust has been put in Mueller to investigate the issue so that the issue can be put to rest. Aborting it will only perpetuate the election question. Also, your 300 person secret conspiracy seems less likely to be the truth than the Trump election conspiracy. Many of Trump's disciples are gleeful that he has everyone in the country wondering what in the hell is true and what is made up. Perhaps, though I don't think so, he is innocent. Too bad now truth is so slippery that millions of Americans don't believe him.
-
Why are so many disciples so scared of letting the Mueller investigation play out? If there is nothing to be found, let him waste some time to convince the entire country, not just his supporters, that there was no election conspiracy. If the Mueller investigation is halted prematurely the wound will just fester.
-
Day drinking today? might be a good idea. Anyway, I am not competing with anyone to get your vote on this issue. Nor am I spending my time trying to gather evidence. There are paid professionals doing just that. What I have been doing is advocating for letting the Trump-Russia investigation continue until Mueller decides he has completed it.
-
I found it kinda funny that not one American Trump disciple answered that question. Row_33 doesn't count because he's Russian
-
I think you are trying to split hairs. Are you saying that he doesn't think the Mueller investigation should proceed?
-
Are you consistently an obnoxious prick? Watch the video at the link I provided. Watch the first 1:35 or so, jerk.
-
Well, as I have said several times now too, Trey Gowdy, Mr Benghazi, a hyper partisan Republican that announced he is not running for re-election, has stated he feels the Trump-Russia investigation should continue. You seem so sure that there would be no warrant approved without this dossier. That is not what Gowdy claims. He read the warrant application. Watch the first 1 and a half minutes at least. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ihNQRFk1MDE

In about a half dozen posts now I have stated that if there was wrong doing in the FISA warrant process, prosecute those responsible. If it leads back to Obama or even Abe Lincoln, prosecute them. The point I have been trying to make is that none of that should impact the Trump-Russia investigation. And just because you and several other posters have yet to see convincing evidence of wrongdoing, that is no reason to stop the investigation before Mueller, a Republican appointed by a Republican, is done investigating possible wrongdoing. Certainly the case he lays out must be iron clad. If he lays out a theory that is not yet verified with all the I's dotted and T's crossed, his investigation would be vilified to no end. If we turn a blind eye to a sitting POTUS conspiring with Russia to influence our elections, then we no longer have our democracy either. We have a mirage. There is no reason both issues should not be investigated to the fullest.
-
For real? You are claiming no one wants to shut down the Trump investigation because of the FISA warrant claims and then do that very thing in the next sentence. Gowdy, who read the FISA warrant application, claims there would/should still be a Trump-Russia investigation in spite of the warrant problems.
-
Why is it either a Trump-Russia investigation or a FISA warrant investigation? Investigate whatever deep state conspiracy that needs investigating. If there was wrongdoing, lock em up. Just stop with claiming that there is now no reason to continue investigating Trump's possible wrong doings.
-
Your wish to turn the conversation to when and where Russia became an enemy is immaterial to the conversation I am having. Maybe someone else wishes to follow your lead or perhaps you could just do some research on your own. Better yet, start a new thread where that is the question for discussion.
-
Did you post in the wrong thread? What does that have to do with whether the administration conspired with Russia?
-
Not disingenuous in the least. My hypothetical is a legitimate question. It appears from what I read that many defending Trump don't want him caught even if they think he is guilty of conspiring. They appear tickled to be in control and don't wish to upset that. I will answer your question. Please answer mine. I can't answer for 'my side' but I can for myself. If I found evidence of wrongdoing in an attempt to smear Trump, I would certainly come forward with the truth. If Trump did nothing wrong, I don't want to convict him.
-
This is why credibility suffers. Surely you must know by now that this Uranium One story has been hyped as a distraction. Yet many here continue to toss it out there whenever a distraction is needed. See the Fox News piece by Shep Smith on Youtube that debunks the whole story if you truly are still uninformed. Just investigate Trump and his administration and keep the Russians from exerting significant influence on our elections. Investigate any other issues that make sense but stop trying to derail the Mueller investigation.
-
I thought of a question I would like to pose to the Trump defenders. Please take a moment to consider and answer. Hypothetical Question If today you, and you alone, came across evidence that would prove beyond a doubt that Trump conspired with the Russians to help him get elected in exchange for future favors, would you come forward with it or would you bury it forever? In this scenario, assume that your actions would be anonymous and also assume no one would ever discover you buried the evidence if that was your decision. What do you think? Please be honest.

I heard this morning that the parade after the first Gulf War in 1991 cost about 8 million $. Surely prices have risen. Not all of that military hardware is sitting near the Whitehouse. It will have to be brought in at some cost. To say you won't need security for the crowd is also untrue. Surely areas will be sectioned off and the crowd screened for explosives. Vehicle blocks will need to be set up. Planning, implementation, execution, cleanup...all cost $ regardless if the parade marchers have guns in hand or not.
-
Do you care what it costs? If he offers to pay for it out of his own pocket, as well as the additional security required, I have no problem having a parade. I do have a problem spending money that we hear from politicians that we do not have to waste. And, as the world's most powerful military, do we really need to prove to any of our adversaries that we have powerful weapons? If not, what is the need for the parade given we've gotten by without military parades for what, decades??
