  1. Also, I think you meant "too lazy." Just trying to be intellectually honest.
  2. Who are the "prog facists?" And what makes those people "lazy and intellectually dishonest?" Frankly, the bias in your scolding yesterday reflects an intellectual dishonesty on your part. Keep it up and I may have to put you on the newly-created intellectually dishonest list. FYI - I checked with someone who has a handy copy of Strunk & White. It looks like the proper construction in your prior comment was "reserved for," not "reserved to." A little self-flagellation on your end may been order. Still misleading. The placement of barriers over "5 city blocks" does not mean that the NYPD sanctioned a gathering in excess of existing distancing guidelines and rules. More intellectual dishonesty like your prior comment could get you on that list.
  3. Misleading. That the NYPD and a community affairs organization or organizations knew of the event does not mean that those groups sanctioned the violation of social distancing rules.
  4. Once again your scolding seems to be biased along certain divides. Perhaps it is you have a bacon bias; was it that I was scolded because I do not consume bacon, but others who partake in the delicacy have escaped your asperity?
  5. One more clue in the mystery of why deBlasio was (rightfully) so upset by the gathering. He wasn't advocating "rounding" anyone "up," as at least one person ineloquently suggested yesterday. He rightfully was trying to protect that community and its neighbors.
  6. I take it by this comment that you're a xe. Noted. I will respect that moving forward.
  7. It's an aggregation of a limited amount of studies. Published by a group with, shall we say, some interesting (and, to my understanding, discredited) scientific theories. Hopefully the treatments outlined in the paper are proven effective. But, to use one of its own monikers, the AAPS previously has promoted "junk science," and this paper is far from the final word on the effectiveness of the treatments considered. I don't pay much attention to you. But it would be appreciated if you were fair and balanced in your scolding. Be better.
  8. Apparently you've missed the news about how an asymptomatic carrier can spread the virus. Any chance you're going to come down on those people who posted the pics of the bacon masks yesterday? They still need your stinging rebuke. Unless, of course, it is that you deign to criticize only those who do not share your views.
  9. It’s hard to take anything you say seriously because you’re on the sheep list. Carry on.
  10. It’s policy where he was. Follow the rules. What he did today is inexcusable. Surprisingly, there are those in the country who look up to him and to trump. So they should show others the right way to do things. “Do as I say, not as I do” doesn’t cut it.
  11. There’s lots of different ways to lead. One of them is by example. That method is lost on the prez and pence.
  12. Hoax. You don’t know that the bacon in that image was processed following the subject invocation of the DPA. Also, now that the gravity of this internet message board discussion has been reinforced, I continue to await your rebuke of the poster who found an amazing new use for the already-versatile bacon, namely, that of levity. Carry on.
  13. Given the seriousness of the topic I await your stinging rebuke of the poster who intrigued us with the photo of scrumptious bacon facemasks.
  14. Hoax. The principal premise of the original post was that the availability of bacon is no more important than the availability of PPE for those on the front lines of the pandemic. We struck quickly on the breakfast issue. We should have moved just as quickly to ensure the protection of our health care professionals.
  15. Thanks for proving part of my point. “Building ahead” = building before invocation of DPA. We’re prompt on bacon. We were slow on PPE, etc. We should have been equally responsive on both fronts. I’m a vegetarian but I could go for that. I probably wouldn’t be a vegetarian long with those. A pepperoni face mask? I’d be back off the wagon (is it on the wagon or off the wagon?) in seconds.
  16. Notice the prior post said most, but not all. So it seems that poster has acknowledged that there were some instances in which the DPA could have been used more promptly. Bacon, however, is not an issue. It’s cool when nurses wear trash bags as PPE. But the idea of missing a breakfast sausage? Completely unacceptable.
  17. Apparently the threat to breakfast sausage is extreme.
  18. Bacon, not ventilators or PPE, gets prompt DPA treatment.
  19. Solid call to place that guy on the fake news list. Thanks for alerting me to that one.
  20. The Keep America Great hat is the chef’s kiss on that one.
