  1. I didn’t do that. Not would I. Tua is limited and not in the same galaxy as upper echelon QBs right now.
  2. It's a logical design. Tua is hesitant (fixable) and has a weak arm (probably not fixable).
  3. I bet Fitz feels the same way.
  4. Actually the voters got him. In a few weeks this douche bag is out. He can talk about hoaxes and crowd sizes and HCQ and the merits of the McRib and whatever the eff else he wants to rant about somewhere else. Can’t happen soon enough.
  5. No. Stick with the script. Promote from within.
  6. That’s it. So perhaps it comes down to whether we’re in better shape with Feliciano + Stills, or Brown - Feliciano.
  7. The salary cap and the likelihood that the Bills deem the retention of Feliciano, Milano, and D. Williams more important than the retention of Brown. Nobody’s trying to replace Brown. This is simply a value judgment.
  8. He takes Brown’s roster spot next year. Cheaper speed.
  9. Put this in the other threat about “unpatriotic” behavior. Sadly, it fits in both: In light of the recent Trump revelations, I’ll put a bow on this debate. Trump is a lying, cheating, undemocratic douche bag. Anyone who refuses to recognize that right now is delusional, complicit, stupid, or a combination thereof. What came out yesterday is worse that Watergate. It’s disgusting, and we should all be disgusted that a sitting President of the United States has attempted to put self over country, democracy, freedom, the rule of law, and essentially every other principle of liberty we hold dear.

  11. I forgot about Houston, but I think you’re spot on there. Didn’t Watson say/hint something about Bienemy there? If Bienemy doesn’t get that job, though, Houston would be a fit. I’m a little skeptical they go for a guy trained by Belichick after the BOB saga. I agree, to a point. But good ones also have a career arc in mind, too. Daboll will get his shot, either this year or next year. I don’t see this as a Brian Schottenheimer (or maybe McDaniels Part II) situation where one is a bit too picky and the opportunity passes him by. We have a good situation here with Allen, we’re in a pretty lousy division that we should run for the next couple of years, cap is in good shape, and we’re positioned to keep the “pieces” around Allen that have helped him to succeed. So maybe cleaning up the Jets mess isn’t as attractive as waiting a year for an opportunity with better culture/ownership/weather/QB situation/division prospects, etc.
  12. I'm starting to wonder how many jobs will be open next year, and how many such jobs might be attractive to someone like Daboll. LAC is a no-brainer, if it opens. Jax probably would be, too, with Lawrence on the way. But a reclamation project in Detroit? Or a "one last gasp" effort in ATL? Not sure I'd want that. The Jets? Why waste the shot on that dysfunction. Better off waiting for a year on the Chargers. So maybe he's not gone after all. We will see how many openings pop up today.
  13. Not on sundays. But no, let’s leave the poor guy and his family alone.
  14. The real problem is that guys family, and especially the baby. Their health is all that matters. Football is secondary in this situation. This coming from someone who has been to nearly every game since 1990.
  15. He’s a neighbor. I don’t know the guy, and I have no idea what his daily habits are. But we have a lot of idiots in the neighborhood who act very irresponsibly. This guy is not one of them.
  16. Yeah, that's the one. Fight through it or make it obvious that you're being prevented from fighting through it. Not impressed with that play.
  17. How exciting. In other news, more Americans admired Obama during the first three years of Trump's presidency than admired Trump. I couldn't care less about either point. Solid point. Trump isn't just a loser, he's a two-time loser.
  18. I actually agree with this to the extent you suggest that opening the gates to the BBS is a bad idea and bad precedent. I would love to go, and I actually think it's safer than, say, going to Wegmans. But it's just not a good idea for the optical reasons you mentioned.
  19. I'm thinking of the one over the middle. Probably a post. Davis caught what would have been the TD but for the timeout, and it (obviously) wasn't that one -
  20. This. And I watched the NE game only once and live, but I thought Davis horribly misplayed the deep shot intended for him in that game.
  21. Practice squad w/ elevation this week and take it from there?
  22. I think you're probably right. That's in line with my point about Brown; if he's down, and if Beasley is hobbled, our aspirations would be similarly hobbled without some help. I'll add another layer to the onion. I completely agree with the your point the Stills thing is probably borne of a desire to protect from losing both Beasley and Brown at the same time. But, if we 're looking at running into Miami again, or if we just want to add another element to our offense that has worked in the past, playing Stills could let us put speed in the slot again. I think Daboll did this in 2018 (Thompson and Foster, perhaps??), and I think it was against Miami in the last game of the season. Not a bad wrinkle to consider with the Beasley injury.
  23. Do we know if brown has COVID? Might not be just a Beasley thing - could be to protect from Brown being sidelined, too.
  24. I sort of agree with you. There's a point to be made, too, that Pittsburgh won't be a significant favorite to be any of the WC teams except for maybe the Browns. So if you think Pittsburgh is likely to lose one of its next two games, then there's really no point in playing the starters next week. On the other hand, I think there's a couple of reasons to play them into the third quarter. Allen came out slow after the bye this year. We have a ton of momentum - why risk it? We're sort of a thoroughbred offense right now, and a muddy track in Pittsburgh in round 2 could cause a problem. Bass has had a good stroke lately, too, but isn't there "bad" wind in one of the ends of Heniz Field? And, if I'm worried about one team aside from KC right now, it's the Ravens. They have a good record against good teams, they're getting hot, and that gimmicky offense could sneak up on us, shorten a game, and take the ball away from our offense. Winning avoids the Ravens in the first round. Glad it's not my call as to whether to play the 1s against Miami.
