Next year is what I think they will target; lots of draft picks and more cap room. I think you roll the dice with what they have this year and not spend resources at this point in the season. If anything, returning injured players will make a positive difference as the year goes on. And the offense has resources that aren’t being effectively used to the extent they could be. Knox, Samuel, Coleman and Davis could all come on as the season progresses.

But the analogy still holds. The recent Bills teams have had stinkers every season and they have gone on to be successful and made the playoffs. Maybe not blowout losses since the Colts game, but stinky losses like to the Broncos last year.

Even in the Super Bowl years, the Bills always had a stinker in prime time, usually against the Steelers or Chiefs. The Ravens game seemed like an outlier, so I expect a bounce back game Sunday. They may lose or win, but it should be a close game. For some reason, I could see Houston winning on an improbable play at the end.
