I think so...i am with him where i was with Lynch...don't care how good he is or what they get in return ...dont want to root for him. I think right now no one would even trade a conditional 7th for the douchenozzle. I am 100% okay with sitting him this year as well, expose him in expansion draft next year...buy his last year out if no one bites. -

A quick look at the Bills future cap spend

I think he is as good as gone. Cant sign all of your marque guys..and they way the entire Bills brass was praising that Seymour(sp) kid this spring, think the writing is on the wall. had to be structured that way so Miami could not match. Clay was not a UFA.. -
Boston: Pros) Boston is awesome in early fall, Stay downtown, so much to see history and culture wise take the train to game from South Station is easy peezy Cons) Hotels, tickets, food, drinks just everything expensive..decent tickets lower bowl $300 and up If train out, no tailgate Train is a long ride..stadium in the middle of freaking nowhere. Have done Boston prolly 6 times last ten years, great time. Going to Cinci this year for following reasons: Never been to Cinci Everything cheaper...good lower bowl seats less than $150. Hotels about half the price Stadium right downtown, walk to everything No Mass Holes.....just kidding, have always had a good time at Gilette No directs to Cinci for us is only real pain on da ass.

Buffalo Bills @ Baltimore Ravens 09/11/16 Tailgate Info
plenzmd1 replied to R. Rich's topic in Tailgate Central
count me in for 4 Rich. Are you getting a private room? By chance is the old Balls tavern? -
wow, just the opposite for me. Called a few weeks back saying 3 of my remotes were dying, they overnighted 3 new ones on the spot. Came to my MIL's house on Thursday evening, and could not get picture from the Genie. Called at midnight Thursday, they had a guy at the house and fixed Friday at 8.30. In terms of the deal, think most of you guys have FOMO on a deal more than worried about actually paying for the Sunday ticket. I hate the call, but i make it, just get the first person and say listen, here is what is all over the internet. Give me the ticket and max for that and we all good. Usually takes 5 minutes. If they counter with something that costs me $100 or whatever...i say okay, thanks, perfect, I'll take it ..talk to you next year

it was OT, Pats end of field, and Pats receiver caught ball clearly inbounds but near sideline, got two feet down, turned upfield to run and was destroyed and knocked out by a Bills DB( forget who) . Ball came lose, Bills recover fumble, Bills going to win game. During replay everyone was looking to see if either the ball or any part of the Bill that recovered the ball had touched the sideline...nope all good, we were celebrating! Ref comes on to explain that the crown of the knocked out Pats player was touching the sideline, his little toe was touching the ball 3 feet inbounds, therefore ball was out of bounds as well before Bills recover, Pats keep ball Bradys first year starting, we all thought he still sucked...the call foreshadowed how lucky that bastard would be for the next 16 years

Help from this draft-class is already fading (Williams DUI)

I have zero concerns what someone paid to enter a market/business..zero. Classic case of the transformation our economy is in where disruption is king, capital does not rule anymore, ideas rule! BTW, that same medallion costs $50K this year...and most likely goes away completely soon http://www.phillymag.com/news/2015/03/09/price-philadelphia-taxi-medallion-keeps-dropping/ And guess what, they sold ZERO last year, and will sell ZERO this year. Pager services paid a chit ton to use the airwaves as well...sure tthese guys wanted money back from the government as well http://www.nytimes.com/1994/07/30/us/airwaves-auctions-bring-833-million-for-us-treasury.html?pagewanted=all And i do understand though saying if you going to shuffle people around for pay, here is what you need to do from an inspection and insurance standpoint..no matter how you get rides I am sure phone companies were just as pissed when they paid all kinds of money to put phone booths in every airport and street corner. -

I think unions and the mob control of such killed our fair hometown and am far from a union supporter . But as i understand it, New York simply has told Uber its drivers need the same level of insurance that cabs are required to carry in New York . Uber has said that if that is required, its drivers would not make money and not be profitable. So no go for Uber in NY State outside of the city In NYC, Uber idrivers do carry same insurance limits that cabs carry as they deem that market to be profitable even with the increased costs. BTW, not sure how it works in other markets, and i am a heavy user of ride share services..use Lyft more than Uber, but starting to use Uber Pool quite frequently , especially in DC -

Thanks for sharing -

Just to play devils advocate and no sports at all this week .. lets say that the Sabres know they will not get any compensation back....why not let him shop offers now? Get his word you will let him negotiate now, but you need his answer in 7 days time. Then the organisation knows what assets they have and what they now have that is tradeable no? Could be CBA reasons, not sure on that. -
travel count? Sometimes 8.30AM-10AM, other times 6:30 AM to 10PM. No commute, work out of hosue

Sabres & NHL 2016-17 - Victor Antipin Signs One Year Deal

I believe the 08/15 date is driven by the fact that that is when he can become a free agent and speak/negotiate with all clubs. If that date was 07/12, i think he would make a decision earlier. Sabres should grant him that right, but I as well have no idea what is allowed by the CBA. My contention is if the Sabres did that, and he did decide where he wanted to go...the winning team would deal something to the Sabres to complete the deal pre 08/15. After all, this guy has a bit of history of reneging on a verbal. Guess my sales and negotiations background comes in here...i just see zero advantage to the Sabres not granting him this ability unless prohibited by CBA -

Sabres & NHL 2016-17 - Victor Antipin Signs One Year Deal
plenzmd1 replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in Off the Wall Archives
I have no clue what this means...if you give him the right to speak with other teams now, all teams, he is doing it on his terms and timetable. He would get exactly what he wants, the ability to speak with all teams and be a true UFA. And once he made a decision to sign, whether that be with the Sabres or another team...the winning club will want that deal signed ASAP and trade a pick for the right to sign him before 08/15 . Now, if he was an UFA and not bound by an ELC and the few bonusues available, i can see not letting him negotiate with other teams.. But thats just not the case...every offer is going to be pretty much the same damn offer. This only drags the process out, gets people in Buffalo pissed at him, and leaves the Sabres in limbo whether we get this kid or not. -
Sabres & NHL 2016-17 - Victor Antipin Signs One Year Deal
plenzmd1 replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Here is my reasoning...and you have to take Vesey at his word he is going to UFA with no chance of signing with Sabres before 08/15.Also take him at his word he will give you a decision on a team in one weeks time if you allow him to speak with other teams before 08/15. Now, let's say i am Chicago GM and on 7/20 Vesey tells Blackhawks are the choice....I think i would give a 4 to the Sabres so i can do immediately and not wait another 30 days...anything can go wrong in 30 days. Does that not make sense? All this is predicated on the fact the money is essentially the same from all teams, so no fear of "this offer could go down"..he knows that not the case. I just dont see what waiting to 08/15 buys the Sabres -

k, you guys going to make me go over to SabreSpace and enter that fray...really looking for some answers here. Is there a reason the Sabres would not let him negotiate with everyone now? I know he can only sign with the Sabres before August 15, but seems to me dragging it out does no one any good. If he is going to sign in Chicago lets say, he is going to sign in Chicago. If we know that July 20th, maybe Chicago will trade us a pick to get his rights so he can sign before he changes his mind. And then GMTM knows where his roster stands, and what moves he still wants to make. Am i missing something here? -

Sabres & NHL 2016-17 - Victor Antipin Signs One Year Deal
plenzmd1 replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in Off the Wall Archives
If Kane gets traded, I would be a happy man. Just like with Marshawn, don't care how good a player he is, I no longer want to root for him. I will still celebrate I am sure when he scores a big goal, but if he gets traded and he becomes a 50'goal man somewhere else....I will still be happy with the trade. Quick question ....why don't the Sabres let Jimmy and his agents talk with other teams now? Is there a downside to that? Can't believe there is any kind of take it or leave it offer no the table...everyone will offer the max under the CBA . Why drag this thing out if it could possibly affects trades etc? All ears on why not letting him talk to other teams is a win for the Sabres? -
When did tailgating start at Rich/the Ralph?
plenzmd1 replied to Dave in Avon Lake now's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Skins tailgating sucks cause everybody hates the stadium, the owner, the team etc.. Bunch of angry drunks is no fun. BMore has great tailgates! In terms of after games, cent remember the last time we left earlier than 2 hours after game. The best after tailgates were the ones when it was post Bills/ Pre Sabre tailgate. Those Sunday double headers used to put a wallop on me in the mid 80's. -

I know we tailgated as early as 75...don't remember the first couple of years. And as mentioned, tailgate was strictly hot dogs, hamburgers and beer. Late 80 's is when I think it started to become more of an event with planning, salads etc.
