  1. Jeremy White said the same thing, think that has a lot to do with the pure dominance of the Pats as well, but no doubt the Bills record is the overriding factor. I had to make a decision whether to come to Pats or Colts game, I chose Colts cause I figured I wanted a chance to see a win! It is damn hard to justify seasons, especially for us out of towners. I think the last 7 years collectively of the two teams just being god awful is finally, finally starting to take a toll. People are losing the will to go to the games, there just appears no hope and no real path forward for either team at this time. Its hard on the psyche, no matter what PTR says.
  2. no, it is based on 95% of Pats fans most of us have met in real life. they are not ass hats in all areas of their lives, just in how they view and talk football.I have very good friends that it has become almost impossible to watch football, and I mean any game, with them. i agree. I still do not believe he has apologized to Tre directly, just some lame ass PR apology hoping to gain sympathy and rationalizing a bullcrap , dirty play. i was watching something the other night, I think on the NFL Network, and they were calling it the Carson Palmer rule. I just shook my head at the revisionist history. Palmer went down, leagues response was " sad, but that's football" . Brady goes down the next year, leagues response was " that gotta change"
  3. sissy rich guy..its whats ruining football!
  4. One of my nephews did the shoveling..season ticket holder, just wanted to do it for fun!.

  7. that it is my friend..
  8. I don't know why, but seems the Bills bring families together like no other team save the Steelers and Packers! Great article. My lasting memory of my brother is his last year was what a great, great time we had had at the 11 Pats win!
  9. did not read whole thread, but mine was at the Rockpile as well. Cold as hell outside, had to pay someone $5 "to watch our car"..kid my age right in front of me carrying his ticket in his hand had it snatched. To this day my ticket is always in my front pocket with hand on it LOL. Remeber pleading with my uncle and father to let me and my brother go to the endzone and try to catch a football after the kick..no dice
  10. there will be no payback
  11. OKay all you knuckleheads out there, no crude remarks ! dhg, it will be a good time. My crew is mostly my nephews and son, anywhere between 17-23. .You will know it us as we will have the beer pong table up early! Look forward to meeting you on Sunday! Don't worry about food BTW, there will be plenty! Mead is the Stromboli king, and you ain't lived till you had one of his breakfast strombolis! We will have a big ole dutch oven filled with a nice smokey, slightly spicy gumbo that will get ya fortified for the cold weather.
  12. Again i will ask WTF we have two threads for this..mods can we please merge or just close this one?
  13. Sorry to hear about your friend. And I mean that.
  14. you coming to game?

  16. Interesting from Forbes, course I like it cause I am going short on Monday most likely. https://www.forbes.com/sites/naeemaslam/2017/12/07/bitcoin-a-low-hanging-fruit/#41b202a95c93 Currently, higher prices benefit all players in the market, big or small. However, dragging Bitcoin into the futures market poses a risk of big players opening doors to short selling hell. Futures markets make it possible to short in decent size with a lot of liquidity, thus affecting the price discovery in the underlying asset market. And, the fact that the Bitcoin contracts are cash settled, this equips these said players with a near- infinite supply of dollars to make profits on the other side of the market. This will open doors for quant aggressive traders, such as hedge funds and algorithm-driven funds, to use this futures market to enter Bitcoin trading with high levels of liquidity (in dollars, not the crypto currency itself) for aggressive short-selling and knock the prices really low. After all, futures market exists for hedging against risk, both upside and downside, and thus players now have an incentive to be on the short side and make profits hedging against the upside. Second, I do see a potential dip just after the futures start trading, a correction of up to 20-30%, which may present a good medium to long term opportunity to enter the market and/or build on long positions. I do see Bitcoin prices potentially reaching $25,000 by early next year.
  17. From a gambling perspective, I cannot find a line on this game anywhere. Know there was a line of Bills +2 posted above, but don't see that posted anywhere. If the Bills are getting 2, maybe time to unload all the vast profits from this year I will put everything I have in the account if there is a money line on this game of Bills +120 or more.
  18. I get this sentiment. I will make six games this year, still think it may be overall cheaper to buy the six games individually and not eat the 4 games i don't make. I think that is a real issue and was not happy when they dropped that rule, thought it would hit Buffalo especially hard. Has nit bad as bad as I thought. Agree with the dome thing.I love Orchard Park and being outdoors, but know I am in the minority, especially in my age group of 50+
  19. Damn, son and i driving 8 hours to see this game. Guy who has tickets with me cant give his ticket away either. I am guessing about 80% full at kickoff
  20. $15.5..you were right!
  21. and your point? I agree with PT5P, if you can root for any team from Boston, you are lower than pond scum
  22. Saw an ad for Knightsfall today, premieres tonight on History. Here is the description from USA today. Sounds like if you liked Vikings early, as I did, may like this. Going to be hard to see the dude who played Carson in Downton Abbey in any other role, but will DVR and give it a chance History is taking another dive into scripted programming, going medieval with Knightfall, which premieres tonight. Like the channel's Vikings, Knightfall is violent and focuses on a group of historical warriors, this time putting the spotlight on the Knights Templar from the Middle Ages. Starring Tom Cullen (Downton Abbey) as the Knights' leader Landry, the series tracks the Knights on their quest for the Holy Grail.
  23. I think that a euphemism for your digital dates..trying to guess which channel would fit...hmm
  24. That's so an hour ago..coffee cost $14,000 now!
  25. Gunna be 14K when we wake up in the AM..South Koreans plowing into Bitcoin. Hmm, I still think will be able to buy much cheaper. I would buy some long term puts if I could right now.
