  1. If I'm cheap (RW) and am trying to get my target's (Hopefully Sherman but likely Haslett) price down I leak that Jauron in a "strong candidate" and I keep interviewing. This could explain why Haslett hasn't been interviewed yet. If his price is too high I'm sure its possible we're just letting everything fill up to eliminate his options.
  2. ....to fight over Sherman, Haslett, Fassell, Jauron, Grimm, Capers and Saunders. I'm still committed to Sherman over Haslett but I really think only Sherman would have the ability to pull in the quality assistants we need to right the ship quickly. God I hope RW isn't going to try to do this hire on the cheap.
  3. He's still on the list. The list of people who should never coach in the NFL again.
  4. The DT class is pretty thin but that not why Watson goes in the 1st. He's late 1st pick I think. As far as WR's I'm not able to projec them until the combine because there really isn't anyone who stands out. Holmes is a late 1st at this point until he runs. Just my opinion.
  5. I think he's going to be a Pro-Bowl FS but could be a solid CB. I think he's the FS in the draft and the 3rd best CB. He should move up quickly after combine.
  6. I can't say that. I'd say that SF takes him because he can play both CB or FS at an elite level. Maybe he's not a shutdown CB per se but he's difference maker in secondary and will likely have some eye-popping combine numbers. You could swap Huff for Williams at this pick but just think that Huff is going to be the better player in the NFL.
  7. I think its going to be Haslett since I think Martz will likely end up in New Orleans, Sherman takes over in Detroit. I don't know why but I think that's how it shakes out. I'd much rather have Sherman but oh well. I'm not complaining since we did get rid of Mularkey. addition by subtraction.
  8. Plenty of love Hall. He's a first rounder but just in the top 25 picks....unless he has a Freeney-like combine. Then of course he vaults into the top 12-15 picks. This is all based on physical measurements and career perfromance at this point. Combine gives you upside in my opinion which will make teams reach. This is just 1.0....
  9. With all the loses on DL I can't se them taking White that high considering how deep this class is at RB. They can easily grab a solid RB in the 2nd round but the same cannot be said at DT.
  10. This year's TE class is as talented and as depp as any in great while and all 3 are 1st rouders. The only reason Ferguson drops to us is that the first three picks are set in stone pretty much (Just the order is in question) and luckily for us GB, OAK and Sf all have significant money tied up into their LT's. I won't get into trying to prject draft-day-trades, etc. As far as White his combine numbers will likely not help him since he's not going to run well enough to move up into the top 15 since most of those teams have RB with only PHI and MIN possibly taking him. But I think PHI has too much money invested in Westbrook and needs OT help and MIN won't pass up Pope if he's there or Lewis for that matter. It's a toss up with those guys on who's gonna be better think. Of course all this changes dramitically after the combine. So we'll see.

  12. Screw that. I hope he's greeted by 72 VIRGINIANS not virgins. Now THAT would be a funny religious miscommunication.
  13. Coming from someone who was down here, praticipated in SAR and is still down here you may want to take a look at the number of people that are listed as stil missing: over 6400. Before you say "they're just scattered everywhere" that's crap because nearly everyone has registered for some type of assistance whether it be FEMA, Red Cross, etc. And if you would've been down here to see level of devastation you would've made the same prediction the former Chief of Police did. Also, I'm not saying that there 6,400 bodies to be found. I'm saying that the 1000+ bodie count here isn't accurate.
  14. I'd be happy with Haslett. Of course I'd be ecstatic with Sherman but....
  15. He's definitely my first choice by a wide margin over Haslett, my no. 2.
  16. I wanted Sherman but Haslett's a nice 2nd choice. Its amazing people are so down on him considering what he accomplished with Aaron brooks as his QB.
  17. Ticket sales will not go way down if he hires Haslett. They'll be affected if we don't put a competitive product out on the field, ie no OL or DL.
  18. Why? The both are horrible but Fox is essentialy a joke.
  19. Like Jesus? After all, he's the firstliberal anyone had ever seen.
  20. Other than QB who never saw a double coverage he didn't throw into, nothing.
  21. I agree. Anyone who can even get close to the playoffs with Aaron Brooks as thier QB is not a bad coach.
  22. http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/5242550 I don't believe anything I ever hear on Fox News but....
