  1. What I read is that the request came from Legislative and waiver granted on domestic security grounds. Sounds like they followed the law.
  2. Then they risk waivers when Powell is activated?
  3. Odd to have an open roster spot this close to game time
  4. Slave-owner. Hence opinion is invalidated
  5. Food for thought - the US states that have the highest marginal income tax rates have the lowest bond ratings.
  6. As if this couldn't habe been predicted once they started allowing animals in the cabins. Who's more of a snowflake, people demanding their service animals or the person who gets sick from a service animal?
  7. I'm guessing the coffin will be glued shut RIP to a true legend
  8. There's the near term and long term answer. A damaged port affects the immediate need to get urgent supplies. Jones Act won't help that. But PR infrastructure will need a full rebuild, which will certainly be affected by the Jones Act.
  9. There's an arcane law that mandates that only US flagged ships are allowed to transport heavy machinery into PR. It's a no brainer for the orange to suspend the law
  10. Looks like jw figured out the record button after all
  11. Looks more like he's trying to figure out what to do with the black square thing in his hands
  12. And the same thing was said about the '60s riots and the subsequent stranglehold of the inner cities by the Democratic party. How did that work out over 2 generations?
  13. I'm not a Taylor fan and thought he played a very solid game.
  14. He's not eligible until next week
  15. An organization that isn't hypocritical and actually pays its employees.
  16. Cut him a break. He's still mourning McLaughlin's passing In the absence of a full data set, would you be wrong by extrapolating a conclusion by triangulating the available information? Let's say that you're a hockey goalie (schmuck), and you stop a shot, but its momentum carries your entire body into the net. The ref and the replays don't show the puck because it's tied up somewhere in the equipment. But your entire body is inside the goal, behind the line. Is that a goal?
  17. Awesome game of fill in the blank
  18. Totally agree. Time out should have been taken then. Hopefully another learning moment for the rookie.
  19. Not to be dismissed is the Bills playing a QB that can hit the broad side of the barn and who often takes deep shots. Bills were fortunate that Carolina only walked away with FGs in their multiple trips deep inside the red zone. Not going out on a limb by saying the DBs can't let any one behind them. If Falcons have to score, force them to go through the D. Easier said than done, of course.
  20. Who's surprised that there are behind the scenes payments in a multi-billion dollar business, where the employees don't get paid? Hope this is the final death knell for a hypocritical organization.
  21. And of course, only in your mind you think I was referring to 2016. Why in the world would anyone be arguing anything but 2017 performance when comparing the two backs? Especially when the discussion is about performance vs salary cap in 2017 Oh, that's right, the person who excels in reframing every discussion to appear to be right on both sides of a debate. Bravo.
  22. And who's comparing 2016 MG to 2017 Tolbert? Oh that's right, nobody but you in yet another attempt to reframe the topic to appear right. The option for Bills wasn't a street free agent Gillislee vs another option, it was paying Gillislee $4 million this year. Genius Bill thought he was getting a 5+ yd a carry RB with that investment, and instead he got a pedestrian back who's very good exploiting wide open holes. For half the investment and more production he should have kept Blount. BTW, Tolbert does not have a 100% failure rate on 4th down conversions this year (unlike MG). In that regard, Tolbert hasn't failed yet.
  23. Uhm, you just described the play. Option 1 - Matthews, Option 2 - Run, Option 3 - Pass. He executed that play to perfection. The criticism (from me at least) is that before yesterday he would not have thrown that pass to Clay and that is the exact play where I referred to plays left on the field. Hopefully that's another stepping stone.
  24. Considering that previous sales of Villanueva's jersey were probably only to him and his family, the fact that he's outselling the marquee players does say a lot.
