  1. I doubt we will see the same clunker as in Carolina. If you take the coaches at face value, every game is an evolution, and I'm guessing that TT will get more and more comfortable with the design. I also don't expect Atlanta's D to have as much immediate upfront pressure on Tyrod.
  2. Are you referring to offensive plan design or execution by players?
  3. You cannot ignore the contract that Pats* gave MG in this discussion. Bills tendered him at the exact replacement value, and so far they've been proven right. Do you think NE is wise to allocate $4 million to what appears to be a one trick pony? He has 0 yards on 2 4th down carries, which was supposed to be his calling card. Pats* would have had better production for less $$ out of Blount. Do you find it odd that in an offense as varied as NE's, MG has not caught a single pass in 3 games? You understate the Bills offensive additions to MG's career average. He's averaged +2 yds more per carry here. You'd figure that playing with Brady, he'd be well over 4.0. But just the fact that his numbers aren't that distinguishable from Tolbert's says a lot.
  4. OTOH, it's a tad early to write him off. Many people forget how awful Andre Reed was in his rookie year
  5. I think it will depend on the injury. If it's short term, then committee of Tolbert, Jones & Banyard. Longer term will be a FA pick up
  6. Highly unlikely that Tolbert is the primary back if Shady goes down. For all the tooth gnashing, Tolbert's stats are nearly identical to MG's after three games. MG is supposed to be Pats* feature back, but his alleged strength was picking up the tough yards. So far, on his 4 carries on 3rd & 4th downs, he's gained a total of 2 yards.
  7. That's exactly the thought. MG was a three time cast off with a 3.5 ypc until he got to Buffalo. He's right back to his natural average, which is probably what he'd produce in Buffalo this year with defenses keying in on the run so far. So from a team's perspective, do you allocate $4 million to a guy whose replacement value is vet minimum?
  8. I never had Hauschka as anything but a lock. DeMarco has played, but hasn't been effective and Rico moved to a single back attack that worked better, until the last series when they needed to pound. So fr, Demarco isn't earning the contract
  9. How can anyone argue with a straight face that Zay Jones is NOT having a tough start of the season?
  10. Revisiting this after 3 weeks - Matter of time until they feel more comfortable about Cordy's injury, but Ducasse is probably gone in a few weeks. DeMarco's spot is now a lot more tenuous Johnson, Davis & Holmes are locks
  11. Do you pay $4 million to a RB with a sub 3.5 ypc average?
  12. I thought he was much more efficient. Didn't get much help from Zay unfortunately. Hopefully he can build on this game.
  13. Now do people believe this is not a tank?
  14. Does that also mean that people shouldn't throw hissy fits about the 2017 offense?
  15. Is that why the Cheetoh Dust Gollem got elected by spending a fraction of his opponents?
  16. So what does he say about QBs in their 7th season?
  17. The question you should be asking is whether using the 1950's - 1980's home ownership data for wealth measurement is the norm or anomaly? I know my answer
  18. The genius Les Snead who put his team in line for the first pick in the draft and can't extend his star DL because of cap trouble? He'll certainly have an interesting offseason with another Donald holdout, Trumaine free agency and $50 million tied to 3 WRs (if he signs Sammy)
  19. Many of these moves were put in place before Beane arrived. Funny how no one has an issue with Rams being run by a 31 yr old, but Bills FO are out of their league.
  20. Then to take the opposite side of the argument is to think that the Bills FO is run by kindergartners who just saw a football for the first time.
  21. Goodwin & Woods were already gone because it was a wise move not to pay market price for their production. And again, the Sammy move was for reasons other than football. This season is a wash from an offensive perspective because the goal is to see if Tyrod can be an effective QB. While the Bills don't have the caliber of offensive talent that Rams added this offseason, it's not like there weren't plays to be made vs Jets or Panthers.
  22. The question you should be asking is would these same guys be making the same plays if they were playing in Buffalo in the current offense for the current QB?
  23. What do you expect them to say?
  24. So weird to see so many skyscrapers in SF
