  1. Hong Kong is a developed corner that does not want to be controlled by a totalitarian state
  2. It's worse than that. They are being used interchangeably not only in the tweets but in the court filings.
  3. True, but looking at the context of the tweets, it appears they're using them interchangeably, since their goal is to identify not only destinations, but passengers.
  4. If you have to ask ...
  5. My impression was a slightly stronger armed Peterman. He'll be a turnover machine in AFCE
  6. There's heightened attention to the one drop because of his past history and early stories from camp that he didn't come as prepared as he should have been. Hence the shading to the downside. I'm guessing there wouldn't be as lengthy of a discussion if Brown or Beasley had one drop.
  7. Yes, that's obvious because you're watching a different video
  8. Are you watching the same play that everyone else is watching? How many people have to explain that the only reason Zay takes the massive hit is because he's the one who exposed himself with the drop? If he makes the catch, he takes a hard, but routine hit. A bonafide NFL slot receiver makes the catch of that particular pass, and is safely on the ground before the safety closes in. The trajectory of the ball leads Zay to catch and land on the 1 yard line, and NOT take the hit to the head.
  9. The safety was 3 yards away, and Jones took two steps before he got hit. If he secures the ball, he's in a position to take a hit. Using your logic, no QB should be throwing the ball in the middle of the field.
  10. Did you watch Rosen throw last night, or are just going by stats?
  11. You can make an argument that the drop led to the injury. If he holds on to the ball, he'd be in a better position to brace for the hit. Instead, he's flailing for the loose ball and is totally unprotected when he comes down awkwardly.
  12. The embedded video is blocked. You need to click to get to the Youtube link directly
  13. They're showing every game, but the one that's in the guide Bills Colts
  14. I was wrong on whether settlement occurs when the player is healthy. But the time frame to health has a bearing on the settlement, and if the injury is longer than 17 weeks then the player has to be IRd.
  15. I believe the injury settlement can only happen once the player is ruled healthy. The player can then sign with any other team. The team that cut the player must wait 8 weeks to sign post settlement.
  16. You can't cut a player who's still injured, and Waddle's recovery will last past preseason.
  17. An infuriating headline on many levels: How LaAdrian Waddle's injury affects New England Patriots' draft picks The first thought is, "WTF, how does a Bills' player injury affect Pats* draft?" Then it gets worse, because the article explains that Waddle going on IR virtually guarantees Pats* a 6th round comp pick.
  18. Another retrospective of regulations' unintended consequences.
  19. A VP at HSBC India is lower than a parking lot attendant in the Bills' hierarchy.
  20. So what you are saying is that a massive agri exporter won’t have the ability to sell to China?
  21. Maybe that's why Caban ran on a non prosecutorial platform? Seriously, if this wasn't a case of a Justice league loss, there should be more alarms raised about the Dem machine manufacturing an improbable win for Katz. AOC should take note in advance of the primary next year.
  22. What do you think there were strategic implications of US designating Brazil as an important non-NATO military ally?
  23. Absolutely. Make no mistake, having access to the guns with high capacity stock makes it much easier to perpetuate a mass shooting. What it doesn't do is address the urge by these individuals to perpetuate mass killings. See the answer above. Having an easier access to the gun is not the motivation to go out and start shooting people.
  24. It's astounding that you can't see the contradiction in your view that while you admit that not all countries are the same, you still cling to the thought that an accounting gimmick is the reason that investors slough off the Fed creating $2.7 trillion of assets out of thin air. You seem to think that the Fed is the puppeteer of the global bond, stock and currency markets, when in reality the relationship is much more symbiotic, and markets behave as expected as long as there are no surprises. That's why central banks are useless in preventing financial calamities. The banks are good in helping clean up the mess, but can't stand in the way of runaway trains that are asset bubbles.
