  1. Bah, That movie was so under the radar.
  2. Maybe somebody should make a movie about women's participation in the Apollo program?
  3. Of course Moynihan was a racist. Who else would write a report titled, "The ***** Family: The Case for National Action?" PS - I rest my case, with the filter blocking out the title of a Congressional report.
  4. Who would have imagined Poughkeepsie being ground zero for hateful racist charlatans?
  5. You continue to make my argument. You should be fired for making an asinine inappropriate comment to a co-worker, just like you should be fired for telling an Albanian or Russian coworker to go back to his shithole country.
  6. Lamar Jackson is his highest rated QB from the Class of '18? Rated higher than Deshaun Watson? Allen is rated lower than guys who never played a snap in the NFL?
  7. Please tell me the substantive difference between white supremacists and leftist anarchists (especially in the historical perspective)
  8. Will you be back if all these allegations turn out to be about Bill & Hill?
  9. It's been discussed aplenty. Usually critics of Israel can't help themselves but to throw out old anti-semitic stereotypes and tropes, in a way that you wouldn't see in similar criticisms of UK's government.
  10. Trump makes enough stupid statements that there's no need to invent new outrages. Just because his comments were targeted at women of color doesn't mean the content was racist. It's getting a lot more common to blame racism for any kind of criticism of a non-white person. Funny how everyone sided with Nancy last week when AOC predictably threw out the racist defense. Trump's comments were inane and ill-timed, but they weren't racist. I'm sure you saw today's WSJ op-ed that puts the tweetstorm in the proper historic context of nativist sloganeering. What nobody mentioned yet is that his comments are taken straight out of the Vietnam era disagreements, with the whole "Our Country. Take it or Leave It" stance. Those disagreements were not about race because the targets were nearly always upper middle class whites who took up the revolutionary cause. The Justice Democrats and Antifa are descendants of that societal scourge, and other than the four dark-skinned mouthpieces, the operation is run by misguided upper class trust fund kids. But, it's a lot easier and gets you more street cred to cry out racism.
  11. For the last couple of years you have shied away from having an honest dialogue in favor of patronizing other members of the board. When challenged to explain your thoughts, you run away, only to come back with another side swipe. You revel at mocking the group think that you say happens here, yet rarely offer substantive counterpoints. When challenged today to explain exactly why Trump's comments are racist, you predictably ran away from the argument.
  12. So now you know what it's like to be accused of racism, when you don't think you made a racist comment. This is the world that you've been a champion of during your 100 screen name postings.
  13. I should post a picture of my patio work today
  14. Too bad that he picked this fight because there's an awesome fake meme going around today about Trump warning people not to storm Area 51 because he deported all aliens 2 years ago.
  15. Fully expected. Saikat waged open warfare on the Democratic machine and there's a contentious Queens DA race where the two sides are battling. Bernie Bros are still mad at how Dems treated their hero in the 2016 Dem primary. Dems are mad at Bernie for freeloading on their party's platform when he was never truly a member of the party.
  16. A very live Emily Litella moment.
  17. Apparently the hearing is now in flux. No formal agreement to the July 24th delay
  18. Friday 6pm announcement I see
  19. To be followed by a story that Trump used to hang out at strip clubs, and signed a stripper’s show as proof.
  20. Nothing but pure math at this point. The nuts at Sabrespace laid it out. Sabres have $3.1 million in cap space, which isn’t enough to keep all 3 RFAs in arbitration. It’s even more clear now that the D surplus is temporary.
  21. Essentially this is a midway point to eliminating 2 preseason games. I fail to see how this proposal results in more playing time for the players than what they currently go through from the start of training camp.
  22. The capologists are saying that. There’s no room to fit all the RFAs who filed arbitration - Linus, ERod, and McCabe. Someone has to go now.
  23. Larsson signs $1.55 million one-year extension - 4th line is solidified. This makes it nearly certain that one or two RHD will be moved soon.
