  1. So I can learn an operating manual that gets tossed out the window when the markets don't follow the central banks' desire? The repo mess is the perfect illustration of a mismatch of "currencies" (or more properly assets) - too much paper and not enough cash. In your mind and I'm guessing in the course, they're one and the same.
  2. I would dispute that point. The games were much closer than the final score would indicate. In 3 of the 4 losses, Bills were either tied or within 1 score midway through the 3Q. Bills just didn't have the horses on offense to keep up until the end. Thus, this game will fall squarely on Allen's shoulders.
  3. Dictatorship is back?
  4. The Bills game shows up on the channel guide on the local CBS station, so keeping fingers crossed.
  5. Too many Treasuries and not enough cash in the system? Must be a problem with reserve accounting rules.
  6. So far I’m seeing a team playing the way Housley said they would play. Funny how that’s happened this year all of a sudden. That was a tremendous 3rd period, with zero let up in intensity.
  7. Do a deeper dive on Bengals' last 4 drives and you will see a lot of chinks in the Bills dominant D armor. This is one of those instances where the stats are misleading. Once Dalton got in the groove, the defense had a hard time forcing a stop on downs.
  8. There's not enough evidence of total run stopping domination given the opponents so far. A dominant defense doesn't allow Andy Dalton to march up and down the field in the second half, nor let it into red zone range with a minute left in the game. Edmunds would be a far greater assets as the totally disruptive OLB than a mismatched MLB learning his game. Proof was Giants opening drive, and then the 2 score deficit changed the Giants' offense. Compare that to Bengals who got back in the game by running the ball in 3Q. Everyone is waiting for Edmunds' light to turn on, and that was hyped going into the season, and yet he's basically at the same spot he was last year. So with Harry out for the year, we better pray that Star's and Edmunds' lights turn on very quickly.
  9. The point is that they can be a truly elite D by kicking Edmunds outside and having a true MLB
  10. Definition of net liability is that he's had more negative plays in the run game than positive. It doesn't mean that's he's absolutely useless vs the run.
  11. That's not what All22 shows, though. So far, he's been a net liability vs the run.
  12. Two stats are not correlated. A bad rush defense would typically have safeties as lead tacklers.
  13. I love that they now show another game against the local team's have. I would have been stuck w/ Giants on Fox
  14. Check the video replays of Develin's running and blocking. Ask Freddie Jackson about Spikes' hit. Coincidence?
  15. Yeldon should never see the field in a Bills uniform again. He was putrid.
  16. I'm sure he's had enough time to learn the proper Pats* technique of leading with the crown of his helmet.
  17. I don't know how you can say that, especially after this Sunday's game, where Bills should have been up by at least 28 at halftime! I looked at not only trips to red zone, but other clear scoring opportunities that were missed. I counted 3 deep passes that Allen missed to open receivers that should have been TDs, then add the mistakes in the Jets and Bengals games and that's how I got to 50+ points across the 3 games.
  18. Both defenses have been outstanding so far, but Bills' offense has easily left 50+ points on the table through bad execution and careless mistakes. They can't do that against Pats*
  19. I have a feeling that Daboll has been mixing in plays and formations in anticipation of this week. I think the plan will be similar to the Jets game (hopefully without DiMarco splitting out wide)
  20. They just IRd Develin. Edmunds is safe from targeting.
  21. How many people do you know that got sick from second hand smoke? Is it 4 times as many as got sick from smoking?
  22. In fairness, this has been noted by many people. He exhibits the polarity of over-aggressiveness and timidity in run support at the worst times.
  23. See answer above. There's no code when it's in Apple Wallet, just an icon
  24. This discussion should be separated between iPhone owners and Android owners. The electronic ticket issues are bad for anyone who didn't transfer the tix to their iPhone wallet. Since this feature doesn't exist at all for Androids, expect to have ticketing trouble at the gates. There are also serious communication issues between the teams' ticket apps and Ticketmaster. If the passwords, don't match exactly, your accounts will be locked. As said before, this technology wasn't ready to be deployed yet.
