  1. - why not? To the posters point, a year ago, we were all slapping ass and high fixing with how great we had done... In the end, it'll be an average draft...made worse by the selection of EJ where we took him...
  2. Just read the All 22 review - add misusing Sammy Watkins to the overt ineptitude on display by Hackett. Can we just put the pillow on this guy now and snuff him out already? He's obviously out of his league...
  3. Cleveland aced their divisional test...and we failed ours. That's why we talk about changes at the top.
  4. For what it's worth, not sure Reich is ready for the HC Role, but....I don't think Marrone was either. I worry that Marrone and Hackett are in over their heads.
  5. I hope not and am sure he is a good guy even. Thats just the look and feel I have been getting. I am sure he'll do an amazing job in the business aspect of the organization, but the football side I believe is foreign to him. We need seasoned football people.
  6. I do recognize the talent is much better, and that is probably why I am so bothered by our coaching. If we had dynamic coaching, I think we would be in first place in the division....too much talent to play so poorly.
  7. - great, we're going to be 8-8....that's not good enough.
  8. Been searching this kind of blatant honesty outside of Sullivan for a while. Look, RJW did right by WNY keeping the team there, then providing the charitable fund for the region - really, in his passing, the region still made out. It's fantastic - as a former Buffalonian, well done. That said, I too was getting tired of seeing Brandon with his lips on Mary Wilson's a-s and an expecting him to similarly pucker up to Kim. He's one of these guys you see in business who is a survivor, not on merit, but on PR and PQ - no substance and not of courage. He never has, nor ever will hire someone who is dynamic or that might pose a threat to him. He's the reason why we have a lower tiered administration, which leads to 14 years of futility in the face of parity. Anyway, the Pegula era is exciting because, (keeps team in WNY of course), but I believe he understands what value he brings and sees nobody as a challenge to his families authority. Let Brandon sell t-shirts and let's find a football guy to bring some hard wear home. I am hoping the consulting period moves faster than the sale...tired of waiting.
  9. - rightfully so. The occasional circus catch is great, but you don't take receivers high unless they are physical freaks. Sammy is nice, certainly 1st round worthy, but is. Not anything physically exciting. Bad trade, especially considering our shortcomings at QB.
  10. - no, I ment exactly what I wrote. If you can't compete with the San Diego's and New England's of the world in your own house, you're not going anywhere this year. QB - that position is a dead horse. We took a guy who was unemployed three months ago, now we are riding him to the playoffs? It's a QB driven league and he is serviceable in patches, but as a starter, simply not good enough. Everyone trumpets an elite defense, and we are...only against teams Schwartz knows well, (Bears and Lions). We underperform when the lights go on. And lastly the coaches - when Spike's comments today all but pointed the gun at the coaching staff - we were a step behind. Unprepared. Unable to respond. Where are you riding this team this year other than off the cliff?
  11. I thought the Mike Williams interest around the league was interesting...then I hear from a couple people there is interest I Frank Reich if Marrone is let go...then LaConfora reports the Reich thing today as well. Let's face it, given our middling QB play, subpar coaching, and new ownership, there are too many distractions to really be good this year on the field. That said, the Bills are positioned to be a prime time soap opera this year... At least they aren't moving.
  12. Is his mediocrity a stun in revelation? Man was unemployed 3 months ago. The NFL is a QB driven league, until we gave a top 15 level talent, .500 is the best we will know... Orton us doing all he can with the limited tools he has....
  13. Eff You all. Signed, Russell Wilson
  14. The real question - CAN Sammy ever live up to the expectations that come for a player who cost you two first round picks, (hopefully only one of those a high one). Seriously - if he were taken by the Browns there and was doing for them what he is doing for the Bills, it would be high fives and ass slapping all around. Because of the price we paid - he needs to be a monster to meet the expectations. Look - I don't like the trade as I think the only position in the NFL you move up for in RD 1 (and give up a future RD1), is a QB as it is the most important, but he looks to be as good as advertised.
  15. Actually - have seen quite a few stories on how the trade for Jones has kept Atlanta from building a better team- robbed them of needed cap friendly talent...The only position you move up for is franchise QB...it's all that matters in this league.
  16. 10/12 - vs. NE* - WIN 10/19 - vs. MIN - WIN 10/26 - @ NJJ - WIN 11/9 - vs. KC - WIN 11/13 - @ MIA (Thursday Night) WIN 11/23 - vs. NJJ - WIN 11/30 - vs. CLE WIN ...And we win the division...
  17. As touched upon - it was a bad year for QB's in a year we decided we were taking one. Can't force decisions if the talent is not there. I think the report from FSU last week was legit - the FSU coach knew EJ was not starting QB material. Had he stayed at FSU, Jamesis would have been the starter last year anyway. Swing and a miss on him. I am hoping he at least can man the pine and be a diligent back up. Orton isn't the long term, but hopefully, he can man the post thru next season until we find a legit long term answer...
  18. We cant get CJ in space...but we're getting Hughes in space...C'ome on Man!
  19. We would be better off with our pick, plus Kelvin Benjamin or Eric Ebron. Chandlers lack of athleticism was on full display yesterday...
  20. NFL should rule - if the person is caught an it impacted the game, either a forfeit for the home team or loss of draft picks or cap space...
  21. Where's the button to discuss / argue Bills stuff with other fans?
  22. I think Orton has a bad rep in Denver and Dallas - didn't get along with Romo or Tebow. The way he responded to the media and the facial expression left me to believe that Orton might be the guy who is hard to get along with...
  23. - When Fred speaks, we all should listen...we just might learn something. He's truly "The Man".
