  1. Miami 11-5? Not a chance in Hell. That's an 8-8 team if there ever was.
  2. He's angry, motivated, humiliated now.....go get him.
  3. He's this years version of Thurman Thomas, motivated, angry, humiliated...someone who will bring fire with him. Go get him.
  4. All right, here's the noise this year - if the play is there, I understand the Bills will be trading back - they're not even intent on staying in the 2nd round if the right price is there - all the way back or to the start of the third round. They want to recoup the 4th rounder, and hoping to get a second next year as well - according to sources, they see the value this year at third/fourth round and feel they can get an O'Leary at TE or 3 position O lineman that could contribute immediately. Also - Greyson is liked, but they don't like the thought of making him their first selection, prompting thoughts he has to play immediately. Anyway, much more fun with an early selection in a talent laden draft than this year....
  5. 1. Jameis Winston - Tampa Bay Buccaneers 2. Marcus Mariota - NJ Jets 3. Amari Cooper - Oakland Raiders 4. Todd Gurley - Cleveland Browns 5. Brett Hundley - Arizona Cardinals Bill Pick - Clive Walford
  6. . They eat like kings. Hugh end steak, lobster, "proteins" and a lot of fruit and veggies...not a ton of starchy stuff...
  7. this is funny...their head chef is a good friend of mine...He was on vacation in Cancun!! Back now....bring the O Linemen in....
  8. XBOX One - you can get the ticket through there....
  9. WR2 or WR3 is a misnomer unless your speculating on number of catches. They're really X, Y, and Z these days...sammy and woods outside, Harvin in the slot and whomever when we go 4 wide...
  10. Lurker - that is funny...well played. Back on my soap box...am I the only one who doesn't see a guy like Percy Harvin being a "ground and pound" guy? Serious. Unless they have realized the TE position is a lost cause and go 4 wide with the FB and RB and create mismatches that way, all I see this signing doing is taking balls from Watkins, our bell cow wide receiver.... We appear confused...ground and pound with a finesse WR and RB???
  11. theyre the only team I've rooted for since the mid 70's...but I just don't see us as markedly I proved...yet. Maybe we grab the G out of Duke and the TE from Florida State and catch lightening in a bottle, but as of right now, it's pretty wrapping paper.
  12. when I see them considering a Percy Harvin while pro bowl quality Guards are being traded, I question the motive. Has the look and feel of a sales job...and that's what Rex does. Free agency is about filling needs - I loved acquiring McCoy, but he's going to find the sledding tough without a capable tightend to take the safety and/or LB out of the box and running behind an O-Line best described as being hopeful of improvement. Let's face it, teams will say, go ahead Cassell, EJ, or Taylor - you go ahead and beat us...we're not letting McCoy. Unfortunately, the QB position is such a weakness... I don't necessarily fault Ryan - QBs don't grow on trees, but, I just can't get excited for the reality of what we have... our defense was a top defense last year...and that got us the 9 wins. The offense is marginally better, but are you getting excited about Cassell? And yeah, Chip is an innovator - anyone who was putting up 28 points a game with Sanchise at the helm has got things figured out...
  13. . Just saying it's hard to get excited when the car is still missing it's engine. Look, drink the Rex KoolAide, high five each other because he got his tattoo changed to Bills colors and had a truck painted with the team logo...He's a salesmen and you just bought ice for your pool in March... This league is won by coaches smarter than the other guys...Rex is the fun frat boy destined to sell life insurance to his frat buddies - everyone loves him, but, not really going to set the world on fire. That's the domain of the Jimmy Johnsons, Bill Parcells and Chip Kelly's...guys smarter than our lovable frat boy...
  14. We're going to be no better off than the Redskins when Dan Snider bought them. Splashy signings, big named coach, but ignoring the most important aspects of a winning team, a great QB and Chemistry. I know I'm in the minority, but it's hard to get excited about the team with another journeyman QB signing an O-Line completely ignored and only one option considered at TE...which looks the part of a fools plan right now. I hope I am wrong, but if you really take a look at what's under the pretty McCoy paint job, it's still just a pedestrian F250 trying to compete with a field of Porsche's and Ferrari's...
  15. will be interested to see how the fabled "rookie wall" impacts him...
  16. ....No. Drafting them in the top is where they go....But, giving up multiple picks when you need so many others is not wise - especially WR - they're not the engine that makes it happen. Best example I can think of - Atlanta paid a similar ransom for Julio Jones and most people liked it because they had the franchise QB - this was seen as the move that puts them in the Super Bowl. We can agree - Julio is dynamic and everything they expected in the player? That said, many around the league attribute their fall from a playoff team to the pick because they lost opportunity to draft high in positions of need (OL, DL mainly). Even when the pick pans out, it's risky.
  17. - is anyone calling him a bust? The question is, is he worth two 1st round picks on a team with as many needs as the Bills have. I say no WR is worth two first rounders, let alone one of them in the top 5. Sammy is like - A BMW M3....amazing car...but not something I would pay $200K for. Dont know this is fair - what if I get Kelvin Benjamin this year and stud QB next year or The O-Lineman Dallas took this year and a stud WR or QB next year. I see what you are trying to say, but the book of could have's for next year is unwritten....
  18. I wasn't one of the people who voted against him after the game....I voted against it well before the game and stand by it. The Bills are still not a team who can afford doling out multiple first round picks for any position... When you watch - do they pass the eyeball test to you? Let's be honest, we have glaring NEEDS at QB, G, and TE. That said, for ANY team, the only position worth multiple first rounders is the QB position. No knock on Sammy, he's a great rookie and has HOF potential....I just don't see the WR position as one worthy of multiple first rounders.
  19. In the NFL, there is no such thing as an embarrassing win.... Jacksonville won today for Gods sake....
  20. With the new Rookie pay scale - I don't think the lack of having to pay a first rounder is that huge. Frankly, we won't be throwing big money at Manuel or Spiller, so we will have money to pay our free agents (ones we want at least). I think they will look at free agency for QB, DE, TE...
