Take the Bills and the points....Detroits D doesn't know how to prepare for Orton the way Houston boxed EJ up - understanding he is quick to check down. Do that against Orton, and you might pay for it....Detroit wins, but it won't be easy.

EJ will be fine. Fact is, he was thrown in too soon. Sitting for 4+ games will benefit him....

If anyone questions pulling EJ after seeing this...he was single handedly killing us.

Just watched Jeremy Whites All 22 - EJ really had a bad bad game. Houston gave him plenty and he never took it. If Orton throws a few deep - it'll be a welcome change for the WR corp...

23 pages...don't feel like looking back. Hackett has to scrap the freeze option now right? I mean, Orton Is not a threat to keep it, (like Manuel ever did), but keeping it in would be ridiculous. If they run it once - Hackett is the next to get shot...or run out of town.

I do wonder, with Orton, will all the freeze option we "run", but never option into a keeper be scrapped? I mean, Orton is not a runner and running the freeze will be stupid...or even more so than the freeze Manuel runs but never keeps... (My passive aggressive jab at Hackett...).

Kelso dog - no, my 13-3 record was pinned on EJ panning out and Sammy being Sammy. I think EJ needs to sit, but I find no excitement in Orton starting as it is an admission of failure. With EJ, we probably still get to 5 wins...

H2o - If that is true - that just might win the division. Ask you - is EJ a factor in any of those 7 wins or have we seen the last of him this year?

Hackett is clearly in over his head and needs to go. I will bet 1:1 - Marrone sat EJ, Whaley will be capping Hackett as payback...just watch.

Now that our worst fears have been realized and EJ has been dispatched to the bench in favor of journeymen backup Kyle (David Grohl) Orton - I have sobered from my KoolAide stupor and am changing my initial projection of 13-3 (that's right...), to 5-11. In the end, the front office and staff went all in on EJ and trading up for Sammy and they have crapped out. Sadly, I have every expectation the staff will be gutted this offseason and the rebuild to begin yet again. I don't understand the fan excitement as this move is an indication our team has yet again failed...miserably when you compound the lost draft picks.

Makes the trade for Sammy a stupid one...no matter how good Sammy is....

Two words - Kevin Hogan. That's the best we can hope for picking at around 34-36 next year...

And this....is why I left in the 3rd QTR to go play golf. Couldn't see wasting any more time on a beautiful day watching pathetic play calling....I agree.

Just their opinions - both said they watched the game and they believe Orton was brought in because of what we saw yesterday...missing receivers, wild inaccuracy. Want him to succeed, but he's missing the accuracy...

The Bills not "all in on EJ Manual". Likable, good guy, but doesn't look promising...

It's the most important position and unfortunately for us, a department we still lack in. Hopefully, some more seasoning and we will be "good enough" at the position.

The best part is...the part that makes it easy sleeping at night...the Bill's are not. Don't know if you have been watching, but these guys are a real team and I really think, there is not a team or player that scares them....

Bills, aided by a cross country, early start for a West Coast team, will win relatively easily yet again...20-13.
