  1. Thinking like this is why this franchise is in the straits it is....you don't let assets walk when you hit it right in the draft... Wouldn't we be a better team with both on the roster???
  2. By virtue of his size, or lack thereof, Moats might be in trouble....
  3. Every year, we see hype such as this with someone coming in out of nowhere to wow and amaze, only to fall flat on their face when the bullets really fly. Let's see where he is in late August....
  4. I was in Philly the past few days for an "Eagles Fly For Leukemia" event and, upon seeing my Billy Buffalo Driver cover, many took opportunity to poke and/or chide a team pinning our hopes on Kolb. To a man they said, he will look great in 7 on 7 drills and with nobody in his face, but watch what happens when the bullets fly. For what it's worth, there is a reason we drafted EJ....
  5. 2013 - Darius = Pro Bowl, CJ = Pro Bowl & All Pro, Mario = Pro Bowl & All Pro, Jarius Byrd = Pro Bowl, Stevie Johnson = Pro Bowl, Kiko Alonso = Def ROY, and a lot of love will be shown to Stephon Gilmour...no pro bowl though....So it is written
  6. Take the under - new staff, new QB, another year of misery....4 wins with a legit shot at 1st overall next year.
  7. Dodged a bullet with this guy. Who knows though, maybe he learned some humility in the process and will be a better man and QB for it...wait a second, he fired his agent, so I am guessing he is not taking ownership for his current circumstance...this guy is going Akili Smith or Andre Ware on the NFL.... Then again, I am just hoping our guy doesnt go Jason Campbell or Tavares Jackson on us, (distinct possibilities....).
  8. Back on to the topic of this post - trading Sheppard. This comment from an Indy journalist terrifies me - Now, the Colts parted ways and got a guy in Sheppard who also knows the scheme and gives way more effort. Sheppard is a lot quicker than Hughes despite their similar stature. He won’t be out of position and can defend in coverage. Read more at http://www.rantsports.com/nfl/2013/04/29/indianapolis-colts-what-team-is-getting-with-lb-kelvin-sheppard/?7PSdUW3J6XGBqi3D.99 "Sheppard is a lot quicker than Hughes".....Sweet Jebus what did we just trade for? Sheppard appeared to be running in wet cememt most of the time...what's this Hughes going to look like? Hopefully, he will cost us less....
  9. One draft snaring a 3rd stringer on a mediocre passing team and an UDFA pot head who washed out of his program who fell out of the draft and we are now so deep as to talk about trading a WR? A week ago, we had SJ and a boatload of sh-t, and now we should trade someone? Excuse me while I beat my head against the wall....
  10. Angering Mel is an unqualified success. You have to remember, Mel grades for where teams took players at or below where he grades them, (at current). Out of curiosity - has anyone gone back three years to see where he graded a team poorly, but was wrong? Don't necessarily focus on the BIll's, (we have admittedly screwed the pooch), but someone like Seattle last year who "reached" for the OLB from WVA or the Raiders who took Mel's "sure thing" Rolando McClain. I would bet, he is wrong as much as he is right.... PS) Since we get so caught up in Mel's world, (look...as his hair, I am entitled...). Anyway - delicious quotes from the master; (1) He is another combo type who is explosive our of the blocks and relentless in his pursuit of the quarterback who should go in the top ten. (2) Definitely one of the top five-to-eight players available in the draft, and getting him at 8 would be a steal. Any guesses on these Mel pearls??? (1) Aaron Maybin and (2) Mark Sanchez.
  11. Truly...loved the Bills draft, however, had it of gone this way, I would not have minded. I just think the upside of EJ trumps the immediacy of Nassib's availability.....
  12. This will decimate the Jet's punt protection formation....looking for a ton of blocks this year....
  13. The Tim Tebow error in New York is finally, mercifully over. NFL.com's Albert Breer reports that Tebow was released by the Jets on Monday morning after one season with the team, according to a source. The New York Post first reported the story. New GM John Idzik insisted on keeping Tebow through the draft in case they could find a trade partner or use for him. After selecting Geno Smith in the second round, Tebow, not Mark Sanchez, is the odd man out.
  14. Anyone who has the Stig as their photo is deserving of my fandom.
  15. WR and LB - Calling out for Jamie Collins and Justin Hunter or DaRick Rogers
  16. Took a half day - the NFL Network started their coverage at 1:00....
  17. Complete BS....but if this blind squirrel finds a nut....well, you know.
  18. The Bills will be trading back to the mid teens, (the Rams), who want Tavon Austin and are forced ahead of the Jets. We will pick up the 16th, their second this year and third next year...and select E.J. Manual...so sayeth the hair.
