  1. I wouldn’t say they were necessarily “open”. The defenders were usually in position to make he play, but Rivers excelled at putting it just out of their reach, where the taller receiver could make a play. I am worried about Andrew’s ability to do the same thing, but I don’t think Jackson is nearly as accurate as Rivers.
  2. No, I don’t believe so. This is a depth move. One guy goes down, so you add another one. That does not mean he replaces what you have, it just means you get him learning the play book, just in case you need him over the next 3 games.
  3. so he wasn't one of their protected players, even though they called him up and made him active?
  4. I wish these teams would stop distracting our coordinators during the playoffs.
  5. Yeah, I only happened to hear him because I was listening to Adam Schein earlier and forgot to change the station.
  6. And yet I just heard Christopher “mad dog” Russo talking about how awful he looked and how McDermott looked like a deer in the headlights. Go figure...
  7. Isn’t he wanted in Buffalo for hitting some chick with his car on Elmwood, or something like that?
  8. I meant guys who actually play on game day.
  9. Let's not get carried away. Moss was very effective at eating up the clock on extended drives a few times this year. Williams is still unproven. Success in a game after the opponents heart was already ripped out doesn't count. Understood. Time to review the past few active rosters and see where that luxury guy might be...
  10. I assume if you did that, you would be sitting Taiwan Jones, but he is a pretty big contributor on special teams last I checked. Not sure what other roster spot could sacrifice the depth.
  11. Oh man, now I remember that. I must have drank that memory away when it happened.
  12. As long as they don't start the game by pinning us inside our 10 over and over, we should be able to put up some quick points. If we are able to take the run out of their gameplan and contain Jackson we will be good. And yes, I know that is easier said than done.
  13. Well, on the bright side, McDermott doesn’t have to wait for the end of the game to start preparing for the Ravens.
  14. I was honestly amazed that the fans didn’t try to crowd the lower bowl in the end zone on the Colts last possession. I thought passion would take over and the fans would break the rules to try and impact the game. I didn’t see a single Colts fan on tv. Were there any there?
  15. This is why we all wanted to face the Steelers.
  16. They were so confident, they decided to spot the Browns 14 points.
  17. Maybe Rodgers finally gets his man back?
  18. Yeah, that’s the one I was talking about. I actually think it was a beautiful, intentional attempt to catch us off guard.
  19. Yeah, that was crazy. I think it really dictated the play calling for much of the game. They also almost pulled off the worlds longest onside kick, but thankfully Robert’s noticed in time and dove on it.
  20. Damn, that call on Kmet was total bs. He threw the ball to the ref.
  21. And special teams. They gave us everything they had in all 3 phases.
