  1. I have recently discovered an amazing new tool that has greatly facilitated these types of searches. If you look all the way to the right of the window there is a vertical bar that actually moves the screen up and down when you click on it and drag. It saves me several hours a day.
  2. http://www.stadiumwall.com/index.php?showtopic=51441 I had to search a while but I found it.
  3. The man was taken to hospital with head injuries. hmmm. which one?
  4. The Wonder Years had a voice-over from a different time period but I don't remember if they actually ever showed the "present time" version of the character.
  5. Um, that's what we do with our #2 CB on kick-offs and that works pretty well for us. As far as Parrish goes, I am still waiting for him to impress me, it just hasn't happened yet.
  6. No it was my kids fault, they kept coming into the room in the 3rd and 4th quarters making too much noise. Once they broke my concentration it was all down hill.
  7. He was not blocked into him IMO. To me it looked as though Moorman was hit by someone who was trying to get to the ball. I felt as though, at least on that play, Moorman was roughed and it was a missed call by the officials. Big surprise.
  8. I disagree. He was completely flattened at least one time which at the very least would be considered running into the kicker. I do not screem <sic> when this happens to us, except to complain that we were foolish enough to do it. There was a much lesser hit in the San Diego game last night that was flagged for 5 yards.
  9. http://www.realfootball365.com/nfl/article...ades120906.html All-Pro punter Brian Moorman shanked a couple of his attempts. In fairness to Moorman, he was roughed on two of his punts but there was somehow no call on either. The officiating deserves more blame than him in those cases. He is also complimentary of the coaches, giving them an A-, and states that if we can beat Miami this week we could be a real contender in the AFC East.
  10. I'm watching the second game now with Jaws and Dick Vermeil. They are doing a great job. Good insight, good color commentary. I wish they would be the permanent Monday night crew.
  11. I won't go through a list list of them, but as an example, Shoebel was clearly held on one of the plays where he batted down Brady's pass. The announcers pointed this out, along with several other calls and spots where the Bills were screwed. I agree that we lost because of our inability to stop the run and TE pass when it mattered, but the fact remains that the officials called a one sided game.
  12. I agree, there was one return where McGee tried to break it outside, there was one guy between him and at least 20 yards of green and Shelton blocked the one guy right into McGee. If Shelton could have held that block for a second or two there would have been a great return, instead we got the ball on our own 10. I believe that was the series that lead to the safety.
  13. I saw Mularkey's fingerprints on a few plays like a really lame halfback pitch option on third and short, where Ronnie Brown was hit by 3 Steeler defenders 5 yards behind the line of scrimmage. Classic. Madden says, "the play was probably well planned, just poorly executed".
  14. because there will be a lot of fans and media jumping on board. I believe we could win this game and although it may not mean anything in the long run, the media will start jumping off of the Fins bandwagon and need to go somewhere. I don't mean to say this one will will mean we are suddenly any better than before, just that the reaction/over-reaction of the media is very predicatable.
  15. This was a great thread, hopefully we can look forward to 15 more just like it, each one followed by a Fins loss.
  16. Let's get their Fathers take, here is Peter King's opinion, here are pictures of them as little kids. blah , blah, blah. Enough already!
  17. Just looking at the title of the post by Puhonix makes this response simple. The Fins must lose. I hope they lose every game this year. Easy choice.
  18. I disagree. No flashy names or anything but they are all pretty decent players who need some time to develop. Now we need an Offensive Lineman to be added next.
  19. Hooray for Wilson! Hopefully he makes the active roster some time. I thought I read somewhwere that one of the PS players has to be a QB. Does anyone know if this is true?
  20. They can't add him to their practice squad, only we can. He would have to be added to their active roster. Them's the rules. edit: apparantly, them's not the rules. my bad.
  21. I'm a bit surprised Fast Freddie is gone because I thought that special teams thing would keep him here. I am happy he did not beat out Aiken however. I am a bit surprised that we did not put Bowen on the PUP list.
  22. You're probably right about Gates and hopefully wrong about Ezekial.
  23. I guess we're not planning on passing to our Fullback this year because Shelton has dropped almost everything thrown his way and he still made the cut. Maybe someone else releases a FB that can catch and block.
  24. I'll be amazed if Gates makes it to our PS. No way he clears waivers. I'm bummed about him, Ezekial and Baker.
