A few comments. Damn, that was the first time in a while the Peter Pan guy got me. The first article says UFO spotted but the alien was apparetly neither unidentified or flying. His problem is not the knee. It is his conditioning, preparation, ability to absorb the playbook etc... Even if he had never blown out the knee in college, he would likely still be struggling due to his "personality". Many players with all of the physical tools never reach their potential because their attitude gets in the way. Willis appears to be one of them.

I am curious (but not enough to start a new Peters thread ) what kind of reaction will Peters get from the Buffalo faithful when he eventually returns. Will we boo him, if so how long. I am not usually inclined to boo our players but I am dissapointed in the way he is handling this "negotiation". I want to find a way to voice my dissatisfaction but I am torn because it is hard for me to boo our players. What to do...

I saw it this morning and although I do like the show I felt that their review was a bit lackluster. Question 1 will Edwards take control of the team. Golic (wearing a Bills helmet that looked too small for his head) said yes he would because he has to. Or somethingto that effect. Question 2 will Lynch repeat or improve on big season. They both said no and Kasilias sp? (whom I also like), filling in for Greenie, said that most rookies who break 1,000 yards in first season never repeat it in year 2. I can't remember 3 but 4 was will Kawika Mitchell and Stroud help shore up the run Defense. The answe was basically yes because there is nowhere to go but up. Finally 5 was what would the record be, they all said no play-offs and 6-10 or 7-9 as stated previosly in this thread. Nothing insightful, no mention of Peters that I recall and lots of Jets ball washing saying that they would make the play-offs and the Dolphins would be harder to beat this year.

I am guessing that at some point this season, Peters will report and SAM HARRIS will look like a genius for breaking the news first. Almost Soprano like with these bold predictions.

I heard on the radio that he was diagnosed last Sunday and passed away today. If true, scary.
