Personally, I never thought Posey stunk, he just didn't fit well in our system. If he gets back to a 3-4 defense I believe he will thrive. Jauron even said it was hard to let him go because he was a skilled athlete but did not fit the scheme.

Great review. Aiken was a beast on ST and he played very well as a receiver. He absolutely punished #15 from Carolina a few times on kick-offs to the point where he was starting to look gun shy. He nailed him on the first kick and never let up after that. In my opinion, he locked a spot on the roster last week.

And without a real passing game for opponents to honor, Buffalo is likely to see a lot of loaded fronts. I agree that this is a pretty decent review but I hope we prove this one line to be false. I believe that our speedy receivers and JP's mobility and strong arm should be able to reduce the number of loaded fronts that we see.

I like that first article. Nice to see a positive spin on the Bills from ESPN. I get nervous when I think of Spikes going full speed because I keep thinking he'll re-injure himself. If he stays healthy, I agree with this article that we could have a fast, relentless defense that will wear teams out and force turnovers. I can't wait until Friday, the Bengals looked good this weekend and will be another tough test.

Actually, it is because he was a Bill and I saw him at his best , that I am willing to accept him. I would be very nervous if I only had his Atlanta and Dallas stints to go on. I believe that Peerless can and will be a solid #2 for this team. Also, I believe that in part, Moulds receiving average was so low because he was Holcomb's favorite target and therefore was the recipient of many 5-10 yard passes. Unfortunately, this, combined with his decreasing ability to break tackles, kept his YPC down. Others, like Evans, benefitted from JP's downfield passes, hopefully we will see a lot more of those this year.

I don't see how you can say this if you ever watched him play or practice. He can't get the ball down field. KH drove me crazy last year because he had to constantly dump the ball off and ignored Evans wide open downfield. This is why Moulds liked him so much because he was Holcomb's outlet. Out fast wide receiver corps will be wasted with Holcomb under center. Losman still has to mature and prove that he can be a leader and pocket passer but we need to give him that chance. I agree that Holcomb acts more like a leader but he will never be more than a good backup.

Glad to see that your long posts are back. I agree that there seems to be a lot of competition this year and that no one is being handed a job. I believe Evans will be a great #1 and I hope we have enough depth at the position to keep teams from shutting him down. It would be a shame to have this fast receiving group spreading the field and a quarterback who is not able to throw a completion past 20 yards. That is why I am hoping JP wins the job, he seemed to have a good raport with Evans.
