  1. Whenever I go back to visit, I eat all I can. Ted's Hotdogs, Andersons Custard, Boccee's Pizza, Mighty Taco, Duffs Wings, Watsons Sponge Candy, Bisons chip dip, etc, etc... Now that's a vacation.
  2. I agree that she should win because she can be molded into a pop star ala Kelly Clarkson, but as far as Taylor goes, he has the look as much as Rueben did 2 years ago. He will probably become a big star whether he wins or not because he already has a rabid fan following. They'll make a fortune just by selling Soul Patrol t-shirts and merchandise let alone the cd's.
  3. I agree. Spikes was interviewed by a station in Atlanta last year before the start of the season. They asked him what he thought about JP being "handed" the starting job and he just laughed and said, he just needs to not make mistakes and keep us in games so that the Defense could win them. He got his point across by being a bit evasive. Therefore, I believe him when he said that JP's teammates like him.
  4. In that case...nice spelling stupid. p.s. I do not really think you are stupid...it's just a typo, these things happen to the best of us.
  5. I saw him once at the "Canadian Ballet" during his playing days, and he was hogging all of the hot dancers. Never liked him since.
  6. yes, that is a word. Just as acceptable as saying mistakenly. http://onlinedictionary.datasegment.com/word/mistakingly
  7. A friend of mine who is a school teacher just went and she said it is very interesting. She brought her 9 year old son and he liked it but she said not to bring any kids younger than that. Apparently it is comprised of Asian cadavers that were "unclaimed" and therefore donated to science. I guess some of the bodies are posed in various positions such as throwing a baseball etc.. Sounds a bit gruesome (sp?) but I'm probably going to check it out soon.
  8. Wow thanks for pointing out one gramatical error for me. I am a better person for it. You must be proud. I didn't realize that mistakingly leaving one letter out of a word made a sentence incoherent.
  9. And just like in football, quality is not soley dicated by how fast you can go in a straight line.
  10. I need an icon for grinning and shaking my head... For now, this one will have to do.
  11. He's just doing what his fan base wants. I think he would have success touring the country ala Jimmy Buffett and selling out all of his shows because of his version of the Parottheads, the Soul Patrol. He may not be a pure musician but he is one hell of an entertainer.
  12. I actually bought his cd on-line from a record store in Birmingham, one of those independent, sell at your shows kind of cd's. It is very good. A soulfull bluesy cd where almost every song is worth listening to. I would difinitely buy this kind of cd and go see him if he played a small enough venue, like the Tabernacle in Atlanta. I think his live shows would be very entertaining.
  13. That was very cool. Man I would love to try that if I didn't think I'd probably die.
  14. Gotta admit, that was damn funny. Is his name Dr. Irrelevant?
  15. I kept saying the same thing. Just play the tape for Karen Hayes at CTU so that she can make a recording. That way, the Persident is less likely to try and kill him because there is more than 1 copy. Also, with all of the effort that went into securing that recording, why do you send Chloe off by herself, unguarded, to get the tape "ready to be played".
  16. I find it a bit odd that Spikes said this about the new Defense: When asked what he thought of what he’s seen of the new defense, Spikes had an interesting response. “It’s hard to tell. I’m frustrated,” he said. “Hopefully we get everything together as far as understanding the concept (of the new defense).” But Donte Whitner said this: "The defense is pretty simple," Whitner said. "We're trying to fine-tune it, watch some film and talking to the coaches and, you know, just keep learning." Hopefully Spikes is just frustrated because he's not able to run the defense yet, not that he is confused by it.
  17. no way. Mid rounder at best. 8-8, 9-7, something like that.
  18. Damn, the Giants added Sir Henry Anderson from Oregon State. I think he'll make the team and become a player in a few years. He was the other guy I hoped we'd sign besides Anwar Phillips (who signed with New Orleans).
  19. I agree that is my prediction as well. The way I see it, is Taylor would not be a good American Idol but he does however have a future in music. I picture him as the next Jimmy Buffett. He may not have any hit cd's or success on the "charts" but he will be able to tour the county and have a large cult following ala Buffett, Phish, Widespread Panic etc... He already has his own "parrotheads" with the Soul Patrol and he is a fun entertainer to watch with all of his antics on stage. I believe he has the charisma to be very successful in this kind of role.

  21. Great statement. He's not just adding name players to make a splash in the headlines. Levy seems to have a consistant plan in mind with each of these additions. McNair was a very good player but adding him to our roster would be taking a step backwords. Just say no...
  22. Allen definitely has to be considered an injury risk until he proves otherwise.
