  1. WOW, no wonder he sounded so confident. This one really suprised me!
  2. I also heard Mario Williams interviewed on an Atlanta radio station saying he was extremely confident that the Texans were going to take him with the #1 pick. I think the teams feed these guys a bunch of bs and make them believe they will pick them.
  3. How exactly are "we" as football fans, to blame for the Buffalo economy. To date, Bills fans have continued to shell out the asking price for tickets to games. We have also remained in the top 10 in the league when it comes to buying team merchandise. Are we supposed to slip the ticket takers " a little something extra" the next time we go to a game?
  4. present and accounted for. I am working all day.
  5. 44.) I'm an agnostic, dislexic, insomniac; I lie awake at night wondering if there is a Dog.
  6. 48.) A rope goes to a bar and the bouncer stops him at the door and says sorry, we don't allow ropes in here. The rope is all upset so he walks around the corner, ties himself in a knot and pulls on his ends until they are all frayed and sticking out. He walks back to the bar and the bouncer stops him again and says, I said we do not allow ropes in here... The rope looks at the bouncer and says: I'm a frayed knot.
  7. You'd have to make room for Seal...
  8. I just recently purchased a new construction home and used the agent fee as a negotiating tool. I went into it without an agent and when they did not meet my initial price demands I said ok but I guess I'll go out and get an agent now to help me through-out the construction process. They kicked and screamed and said it was too late and I could not bring an agent into the deal after I made an initial offer. (they did not want to have to pay her commission) I said they could not deny me the right to an agent and they ultimately came back with a reduced price to keep me from getting an agent. My argument was that now I would have to do all the work and they would save money so it was only fair that they reduce my cost as well. So, this could be a good negotiator with the builder but you will have to suck it up and fire your agent/friend. Ultimately you have to look out for yourself...
  9. LOL Good stuff, thanks for the laugh.
  10. No kidding. The off season is not over yet. We will not know how we did until after the draft and the end of free agency. We have to look at the whole picture because these 2 things go hand in hand.
  11. FYI Denver traded the 29th pick away, they have the #22 pick.
  12. will be for trading him. It seems as though we'll not only get another draft pick (hopefully the Texans 3rd rounder) but also have some $$ for another FA signing or 2. Anyone know the savings?
  13. I agree, and I would much rather have the Texans third round pick. I believe the Texans have the first 2 picks of the third round. I'd be happy with either one.
  14. in their attempt to get Moulds from the Bills. Hopefully this will be a bidding war.
  15. I like the disclaimer, almost sounds convincing.
  16. depends if you are in a 5x5 league or a head to head style league. Also depends on your league's scoring system. If it is a 5x5 league you could be ok with one elite closer. Who is your closer?
  17. This is impossible. The person pretending to be Soprano said that Moulds would stay because we were trading Losman and drafting Young... Oh yeah, that meant it would never happen.
  18. I agree. I think people didn't vote for her because they figured she was safe. I think she has a chance to win the show and it would have been a mistake if she had been dismissed.
  19. I like how they called him out on this last night. I have a feeling that the judges and Barry Manilow et al, thought it was his own arrangement and they were upset that he tried to pass it off without crediting Live. Seacrest basically said, it's gonna be hard for you to do the genre shows unless you can find a rock remake of one of the songs on the list each week. Simon, who credited him for his originality and for not selling out last week, stated this week that he had to "show a different side of himself" aka selling out.
  20. Let's see, Owens refused to accept a trade to the Ravens and ended up in Philly. So if he knew that Dallas was interested in him and were planning on giving him an insanely inflated contract, you don't think he would have refused a trade to Buffalo? By the way, the answer is yes, he would have refused.
