LMAO Maybe you shold re-evaluate our QB position... McCown could win the starting job in Buffalo, and IMO would be a great option for a 3 way competition. He has upside (that a change of scenery could provide) and experience. However we need OL before any of our QB's have a chance.

Well the CBA is set at 59.5% 102 salary cap * .595 = 60.7 million left over then figure there is monies being made that are not shared revenue so you could probably add 10 - 50 million depending on the franchise Now deduct payroll, utilities, equipment, taxes, attourney's etc.. (normal business expenses) I'd say you be left with anwhere's between 10 - 50 million depending on the franchise. I'm just guesstimating though

I disagree this is a labor and revenue sharing talk, nobody could have possibly thought this would be easy. Major business with major interests. As long as they keep hammering away at it its nothing but positive IMO.

As much as you don't want to pay an interior lineman OT big bucks, Hutchison deserves a serious look and consideration. Somebody should do it just to ensure Hutchison and Jones are not together on Seattles OL for next 5 years. Bentley is also a big time possibility. I know we drated Preston, but IMO it would be wise to put a dominant seasoned C entering his prime at the position and allow Preston to be depth at C, learn alot from Bentley and compete for starting G spot. One way or another one of the top 2 OL needS to come to Buffalo IMO !!!

That thread is 4 pages long so you'll have to pardon me on that one. I also have to admit after 5 or so consecutive years of being an internet Bills fan I've grown mighty tired of many of the offseason plans people come up with, as well as the much of the pre-draft who-haa. So reading that thread will probably prove to be a painful experience. But I'm interested in hearing your plan. We defintely need to get one HIGH QUALITY FA OL in here. We need someone like Bentley, the QB of our OL, our Kent Hull of 2006. Clements still puts the kink in all our offseason plans, but I'm sure thats included in your plan. I would have to say we will know how much of player we will be in FA as soon as we see who and how many Bills get the ax, and seeing how there might be a flood of FA talent this year this might be the time to redesign a solid chunk of our lineup.

Friggin Bills fans, can not see the forest from the trees What's the difference between Buffalo and Pittsburgh ? A significanlty better OL, and a D that is over 10x's better. Put JP behind a well oiled machine like Pittsburgh and you would see a different QB. Put Big Ben behind the Bills and you would hear Bills fans claiming BR is the biggest bust ever. JP has some learning to do, and some experience to gain.. there is no denying that, but the Bills as a team have been so mis managed, and completely inepy on the OL, DL and coaching that no player at any position stood out.

If the Bills drafted BR, right now there would be 50% of Bills fans saying he sucks and will never develope. This would go for any QB in the league past present or future. Our OL will continue to keep any QB from being anything above average. Ben would have no chance of being the QB he is already in the NFL on the Bills with our OL.

Funny, but it would be hard for the bills to pass up on Leinhart regardless of JP's potential. Leinhart will be more of a sure thing in the NFL then JP, and as much as I like JP and will be in his corner for the next 2 years regardless of what Bills fans say, we cannot afford to pass up on Leinhart if he falls in our lap. passing up on Leinhart would be painful in the next 10 years as he goes to multiple probowls and lights up the league. JP has potnetial, but JP at his best IMO still won't match what Leinhart does in the NFL IMO Gut the veterans on this team besides Fletcher and Spikes and rebuild If the Bills continue to lose the rest of their games with JP at the helm, and becuase of this Leinhart falls to us then JP will have made the decision easy for us. Bring in Leinhart and let JP and Leinhart duke it out for starting position similiar to what SD did with Rivers and Brees. Nobody can say SD made a mistake picking up Rivers after they already had Brees.

Maybe, maybe not. I don't see why extending Mcgee would have any effect on re-siginging NC. We will have more then enough cash to spend on Mcgee and NC next offseason. Eric Moulds will be gone next year and he'll save us 5 mil, Drew bledsoes dead cap money will be gone and that's another 5 mil. We wll see the salary cap move up another 5 -7 million. The Bills should be very capable of signing NC. However, IMO if NC wants too much money we will franchise him and entertain trades that will include a minimum of a top 1st round pick.

Some players have been placed in a specialty roll like Coy Wire who is a 3rd strig S, and a ST's captain AND ... Mcgee is a RFA this offseason. He won't be going anywhere.

No team in the NFL is going to trade away a bonifide starter on the OL regardless of the contract status.

LMAO, you must be watching a different team. The Bills will struggle mightily against the Jets next week, we'll be lucky to play well on the west coast against the raiders, and I seriously doubt the Bills have the talent to even stay in the game against NE. I wish it could be different but this team has already shown us what it is made of.
