  1. trading down is our best option and picking up extra picks. there may not be any top 10 pick WR's but a few of the WR on the board are worthy of 1st rd picks.
  2. Yes we do without a doubt. This is a very deep draft for WR, and there are some hidden gems that can be had in the lower rounds We need a WR and TE desperately, but we need to improve our WR's. We need tall red zone targets to compliment the speed of Evans and Parrish. Reed is a good blocker and a rock steady #3 WR, but our WR corps are in desperate need for an upgrade.
  3. we can trade down some, but we have NO choice here. We need an impact player at WR for this season and the chances of that happening decreases if we wait until round #2. Evans has not signed an extension yet, and we need a bonafide 1-2 punch at WR that we haven't had since Moulds/Evans. if Evans plays hard ball and doesn't sign an extension we better have his replacement on the roster already or we'll be in bigger trouble in 2009 in regards to WR's.
  4. what the hell is perfect about johnson.... He's never had a 50 catch year... His TD numbers are low, plus he started 50% of Ariz games over 2 years and still couldn't come close to #2 numbers. I would have liked to have BJ here as insurance, but I wouldn't over pay him for the privilledge especialy since there is no reason why a 1st rd WR couldn't match Johnsons numbers from day 1.
  5. That sounds about right. Peterson would be awesome but he is going to be long gone IMO Willis might fall but even that seems unlikely to me Okoye would give the Bills a glut of 1 gap DT's but you can't pass on this guy IMO Hall would upset many Bills fans but if the Bills have him rated higher then Lynch then you have to take him. Lynch, I might swap Lynch with Hall based upon team need, but IMO if we can get a stop gap RB fpor this season, next years RB crop looks more promising.
  6. Heck 9-7 would have me pretty damn excited. A young team getting better while missing numerous veterans from the year befores team. Actually a 7-9 season would allow me to remain pretty optomistic about 2008 and beyond.
  7. This tells me Poz has quicker reactions, but is a tad slower in closing speed. But IMO football speed is more of a reaction then sprint. Especially from a D or LB stand point
  8. a contract will be worked out ahead of time, but Turner goes to whoever satisfies the Chargers in terms of compensation. The Bills hold the edge in draft pick compensation, so unless Tenn wants to put up their 1st rd pick Turner is as good as a Bill IMO
  9. hey somebody who actually has the ability to not be friggin paranoid and negative when something doesn't happen exactly and smoothluy as reported.
  10. True genius never follows the exisitng path. Lets just hope Marv's plan will go down in history as genius
  11. I wish I could but I can not. The hatred that is boiling inside of me because of Willis' inability to even try in Buffalo has me praying for his demise. I'll have huge difficulties rebounding in WM goes on to salavage his career elsewhere, and then goes on to blame Buffalo as the sole problem to his early career. I would be a big liar if I said I wouldn't be looking forward to a career ending injury for Willis. I hate him that much, and I embarass myself for feeling this way. BUT again I honestly hate this SOB for clearly not even trying to care about the team who drafted him when nobody else was that willing to sacrafice. I wish I could not let it consume me, but it does and it will until I feel Willis career is a justified failure. Buffalo didn't deserve Willis' selfishness, Buffalo deserved a RB who had someting to prove to the world, what we got was a RB who proved to the world he has small selfish heart, and an inability to be a man.
  12. 1st time I've seen it. That was a good laugh
  13. This isn't the 1st time in the last 10 years that the Bills have not sold out 2 games in a row hell back in the 80's most games never sold out. Holiday season is near, economy is down, and the Bills are playing non-playoff football.... I will have to say anyone who is upset about the non-sellout is single, or doesn't have family, or has a better then average paying job. Most people aren't so lucky. Some of you should be looking at this from the proper prespective. WNY just doesn't have the finances to compete head to head with the richer cities / communities in pro sports which sell out stadiums at prices twice that of Buffalo. You want more sellouts... start getting in the faces of politicians and demand they do whatever it takes to bring in high paying jobs to the area and lock in those corps to long term agreements. Otherwise the last one to leave please turn off the lights.
  14. You lost all respect when you dragged "the Dude" into this. Long live "the Dude"
  15. Hell with the odds a small bet will get you paid. I would say Buffalo is at least 100-1 to win it all. I'm down with a grand on this one. It be stupid to pass up on a sure thing !
  16. You need to get your eyes checked son.. Her face is deformed. I have absolutly no idea on how anyone can think she is good looking. She's a dog
  17. How stupid could that be? I've never heard NC say anything near the level of T.O. All he said is he wants to be paid, and he has that right. The solution with NC is simple. He stays a Bill unless a team offers a 2007 1st rd pick. If nobody ponies up this year then re-franchise him next season, and trade him. NC will still be playing for a long term contract, and there is a good chance his value will increase next season. On top of this we need his expertise until our new rookies come of age with a years experience.
  18. Dude you cannot be serious. Have you never tried pot ? Have you ever tried coke meth or heroine. These drugs are extremely physically addictive, they force good people to do bad things because they are or have become addicited, these substances are the ones that are destroying people, families, lives... NOT POT. Believe me the difference is huge, in fact ALCOHOL should be banned before mj is. Alcohol is a much more dangerous substance then pot. I've continually to this day see fights break out because people are drunk, cars get wrecked because people are wrecked, and lives lost, marriages fallen apart because of alcohol. To this day, I've yet to see problems with persons who use pot anywhere's near the level of persons who choose alcohol.
  19. shhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Don't tell the 7 teams picking ahead of us, that's the only chance we have of getting a player we covet. so try to post quietly so they can't hear you
  20. Are you talking in the league today, because Jim Kelly ran like a one legged dog
  21. Not sure I understand what you are saying. Last time I checked Ralph opens his wallet pretty wide when it comes to players over the last decade and change. Bruce Smith, Jim Kelly, Thurman, Cornellius Benett, Then he paid well to keep Moulds around, Takeo Spikes, Milloy, Adams, Mike Williams (bust or not he was paid) I hope we trade down. We're better off with more 1st day picks. This draft is deep with talent in a few need positions, and chances are someone will pay well to move up.
  22. Wow roll over and play dead, gotta love the pride you display. If I were you I would just bury my head in the sand with you butt up in the air and a sign posted with an arrow saying "Insert Broom Handle Here". If the NFL cronnies are playing this game, then it is up to Ralph to do anything and everything possible to stop it. If the NFL wants to eliminate all small markets then its up to the fans to step away from the game and never watch it again. If the Bills move I will never watch another NFL football game. It won't be hard either because my only loyalty lies with the BIlls FIGHT ON RALPH
  23. ironically the top talent in the 2002 draft was mid 1st rd material
  24. The players Marv is bringing in IMO are exactly the kind of players that fit Marv's style IMO. Ironically its a similiar FA style to new England. Fill your roster with high character roll players with upside.
  25. He sounded flustered like he was forced tovote onsomething he wasn't ready to vote on. You just want a reason to be pissy towards the Bills like most other piss pot Bills fans these days
