At least JP had the gonads to throw
1billsfan replied to 1billsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Holcomb sucks like our o line sucks. He needs to sit his wimpy ass arm back on the bench where it belongs. It's time to get JP in there and see if he can become the next great Bills qb. Plain and simple. -
It makes me ill to think how depleated the Raiders secondary was and how Holcomb/TC never never never even tried to threaten them with deep passes. I do know that Losman would have pulled the trigger on the deep throws. Holcomb = career backup Tom Clements = career position coach

The "TD" needs to leave thread...
1billsfan replied to Like A Mofo's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You hit the nail on the head. This team is "mentally soft". It's time to turn the page on TD/MM/TC/JG and give JP a new staff that will hopefully build towards a bright future. The veterans, high payed slackers, non-producers and the overrated free agents-to-be need not apply. I'm tired of this staff's incompetence and our team's lack of intestinal fortitude. -
Oh please! We deserved it. Our team has the heart and intensity of a Ken doll. I'm glad the rubbed it in their faces. I say let the major overhaul begin. Let the young pups play.
-
The Pillsbury Dough Boys. We are soft in the middle on both sides of the ball. I'm tired of the Kelly Holcomb "throw the ball five yards" era, I want JP Losman back. Yeah I said it.

I don't mind if they throw in a flea flicker or two. If the defense bites on the run then I like our receiver's chances of taking it to the house. But yes, give Willis the ball 25 plus times.

Willis talks a little birthday smack
1billsfan replied to granitestatebillsbackers's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't either. He's not saying he's the best ever like the defense laughingly did, he's saying he's the best right now. At least he's in the ballpark. The reaction from the Raiders should have just as much of a motivation boost for him as his boast may add motivation to the Oakland defense. The Raiders should see a steady diet of stiff arms this week. -
O.J. Was Trying To Sit in The Tunnel End Zone

Being OJ's girlfriend, playing in the NFL after having a stroke. Human intelligence takes a holiday. -
Why are so many posters asking other posters to eat crow today? We're a .500 team. We beat a horrific Texas team, an overrated Dolphin bunch, and a geriatric Jet set. We're only 3-3. As far as I know, we've beaten only the teams we were favored to beat and have lost to the teams that were supposed to beat us. I'm happy as heck today that the team has dug itself out of the basement once again. But I want to see the Bills "take the next step". What does this mean? Beat a good team on the road and I'm not talking about the Raiders. They should be able to win that one. Beat the Pats in Foxboro and then you can start asking people to eat crow. We all know the Bills are at least a .500 team, so let's not all act like the team has arrived just yet.

Who knocked the Jets player on his ass
1billsfan replied to Thailog80's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't know, but I did see Reed knock a Jet on his ass clearing the way for a Bill first down. Do we have the best blocking receivers in the league? I can't beleive I'm saying this but I wouldn't mind seeing Reed stick around after this season. -
I saw that too and had to just shake my head. Figures that they get it before we play them in their house. Let the Bills first try to get their first road win next week against the Raiders as a confidence booster.
-
Huh? The game wasn't over till the fourth quarter and they won by ten points. I may have been a little overly concerned about the Jets in the first part of my post but I was about as dead on as you can be in the last part. Aint no crow gonna be chowed down here dude.

Don't forget Jonathan Smith. That was a sweet TD he had. I second the call to extend McGee. The guy is a playmaker!

http://www.democratandchronicle.com/apps/p...348/1007/SPORTS "As for Bills fans, in a town that loves its stars dressed in jeans instead of leather, the low-talking, slow-walking Holcomb is on the verge of becoming the people's choice over the hyper, California-cool Losman." - L. Roth Bullsh__. Bruce Smith used to walk around town in tent-like fur coats. If a guy's a winner, Bills fans wouldn't care if we wore panties and garter belts. This kind of reporting is garbage and as soon as Holcomb stinks it up, JP will be in there and we we'll all be cheering him on. Losman has been nothing but a team player since he's been here, he deserves better than that. Leave your man fantasies off the sports pages Leo.

Bills/Jets Over-Under is at 33.
1billsfan replied to stevestojan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
There's going to be a 20-30 mile an hour wind tomorrow. The football does funny things in the wind. I could see a couple of touchdowns on interceptions in those kind of conditions. Also, I know that our special teams are due for taking one to the house. I wouldn't bet the farm on the under is what I'm saying. -
Tedy Bruschi is returning this season

You're right, I think the days of Patriot players drinking the "take a lower salary for the team" koolaid are over. -

I thought he's this great "family" man? Playing after you've had a freaking stroke? After having won 3 Superbowls? Dumbest man on the planet. -
I think we'll see Parrish sent on at least one streak route tomorrow. Going over the middle is out, so I feel the coaches won't have any problem sending him deep on a play or two. There would be little risk of injury imo. If he catches it chances no doubt he'll be on his way to the endzone. If he doesn't oh well, at least they gave it a shot, go run Willis some more.

1billsfan replied to 1billsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Just like I was saying before the Tampa, Atlanta and Saints game that we had a good chance to lose, I feel the same way that this is a toss up game. I wasn't picking the Bills to win any of those NFC games. I feel with that record I can say I'm fair and balanced enough to call Boomer a tool for his take on how our team rates with the Jets. As of right now, these teams are equal IMO. As the previous post said, on Sunday we'll see what's what. If I feel the Bills are being disparaged by a tool then I'll defend my right to call them out on a message board. If these so-called "homer" type of posts are tiresome then maybe you should just ignore them. -

I thought the Bills stood a good chance of losing all of those games. I do think Boomer is way wrong think the Jets are a much better team than the Bills though, so try getting a grip dude. -

Looks like you're the only one who's all bent here. If you're going to rip on someone at least get it right, I characterized this game as a toss up. Hardly the "BILL RULE" hyperbole you're associating with my post. You were about as accurate as Boomer. -

Better special teams? WRONG! We have the better runningback and wideouts then they do and our defense is not that far back from the Jets. Remember they got to play Tampa without Cadillac. -
Per an interview he did on wfan in nyc this morning. While I could easily see the Bills losing to them I can just as easily see a win. I just don't get how Boomer thinks the Jets are that much better than our team, to me this is a toss up game. Boomer = Tool

I saw the players and media clammering for Losman, however I didn't see the fans calling for it. There were a few calling for the change to be made, but I wouldn't call their shouts deafening. I think more Bills fans wanted to stick with the kid, I'm sure that's changed now that Holcomb has provided a steady hand.

Bills hire new media relations director

I wouldn't be busting on Kerry after seeing GW's approval rating this morning.
