Oh please. Malarkey had a snow balls chance in hell on that one. On the first replay it was clear his knee wasn't an issue.

Goats?????? Try the entire team and coaching staff!

I just lost a ton of respect for Mike Malarkey. His coaching is just as bad as JP's play this game. Challenging the Cadillac touchdon was about as bush as it gets. Not to mention the horrible play calling. Maybe he should have taken himself out of this game.

I've never seen a Bills defense get run on up the middle like that in I don't know how long. At least we all know that the offense was going to go through some growing pains. This game isn't even close. I have serious questions about this defense right now.
-
All their talk about them wanting to go down as one of the best ever defenses and they turn in this kind of dog performance. Hope you enjoy the press clipping this week. What a joke.

If I had to make a quess I think I'd I'd have to say I'd be more suprised if we were to beat Tampa today. This one is so tough to predict. I've just been programed to expect bad things to happen on the road. Here's hoping we're all sorts of after the game.

This is the toughest game to pick in week 2. I can't predict a win or loss with conviction right now.

Losman having zero turnovers. If this happens I feel we'll have a better than 75 percent chance of winning this one. Play big Big Cat, play big.

If your "the best" then you don't get beat by a few steps like that which he was on that play. You can't just choose to look at the positives. He played a very good game, but he was lucky Vincent was there to cover his back. -
From the Bucs message board, had to share... "Yesterday Takeo Spikes was on NFL network and I didnt recognize him out of his pads, and they were talkinga bout what his D plans on doing this week (and they werent really mentioning the Bucs... and I looked at the screen and was like... HOLY _______ That dood is a monster... im glad we arent playing them... than his name came up on the screen and I nearly cried.

Clayton was seen as the top 2004 rookie receiver by nearly everyone not in the Bills organization or a Bills fan. I think that Evans just might have a little extra motivation to bring it to the house on Sunday.

I think the Bills will do the same as last week. They'll throw it deep, they'll throw it short and they'll let JP run it on QB draws up the middle and bootlegs around the ends. They have to do this because the Bucs will shut down our running attack if they load up on the run. Opening up the run with the pass is crucial for this game and this defense. If successful it does a few things, it suprises the opposition who obviously has no respect for our passing offense, it shuts up the crowd, it creates big runs oportunities for McGahee later on, it helps move the chains keeping our defense fresh. The best scenario would be for JP to hit Evans on a bomb touchdown in the first series, but they've already connected on a bomb pass, now all he has to do is hit Lee in stride.

Nate was so beaten on the Troy Vincent interception, the potential bomb TD to Andre Johnson. If not for Vincent, Johnson would have had the TD for sure. Clements is very good, but he's not the best cornerback in the league. That being said I do hope Nate lowers his top dollar demand and signs long term with the Bills. -
I just think that no one can say anything definitively after week one. Good or bad. This greatest ever thing is stupid right now. Can they play a few games first? I hear this week that suddenly the Jets are one of the worst teams in the league. Week 1 evaluations and proclamations are almost as bad as preseason ones. We were 0-4 last season and were we the worst team? Record-wise yes, but reality proved we were a winning team after 17 weeks.

It's stories like this that make me think the Bucs might light us up. Greatest ever? We beat the pop-gun offense Texans at home. It was only the first game of the season. I guess that KC can lay claim to being one of the all time defenses also. I seriously hope that our team isn't getting soft this week with all of the accolades being bestowed on them. I can see Chucky using this as motivation for his team in the Bill Parcells mold, "Hey men, these guys are coming into our house thinking they are the best ever." "Hey men, they're challenging our offense." I can definately see the Bills getting a wake up call in Tampa if they are buying into this greatest ever garbage. It's week 2 and no team can lay claim to anything but a win or a loss. Just because JP showed he can play a little doesn't mean they can start basking in their glowing reviews and end up stepping off the gas. They need to play just as hard or harder than they did against the Texans if we have a chance to win. As of now, I'm thinking we're gonna lose because I get a sense they're feeling too full of themselves right now. On paper we have the better team, no doubt in my mind. But last season this team showed severe lack of focus on many a football Sunday. That's what concerns me the most, lack of focus.

You I believe. Some of the others around here, maybe not so much. -

I respect your opinion, but six days for the calvalry to come when we are in the year 2005 is just plain amazing to me. I somehow don't think it would have taken six days if Palm Beach Florida were submerged. -

No sir. You don't haven't clue about how these apologies are sounding to the rest of the country. In a word...weak. 4-5 days is what I would expect it would take if this were some country like France, but this is the United States of America. Maybe I have more faith in the capabilities of our forces than ya'll do. If it takes 4-5 days to rescue the people in New Orleans from Katrina then there's something wrong with our leaders, our preparedness or both. It's not good enough. Maybe some of you are ok with this "can't do" mentality, but I believe we can and will do better next time. Eventually we'll get answers to the specifics of what happened. Until then I will choose to believe that our forces have the capability to save fellow Americans in much more rapid fashion than 4-5 days. -

Ok, first off, Sean Penn has nothing to do with this topic. I guess it must be one one of those far-right talking points like the "blame game" babble. Secondly, how did every news outlet in the entire country get into New Orleans without "recon" assistance? I have no military background and I still believe it's not ok to take 4-5 days to deploy a military response to this national disaster. I think forty eight hours is acceptable to have at least 2000 troops and provisions on the ground with more on the way. I may not understand the military operations, but I know how dedicated they seem to be when they're given a mission. Jeees, just look at what the Coast Guard did. Do ya think they felt it was ok for the National Gaurd to take 4-5 days???? Lastly, Bush has even admitted he messed up and that should tell you something right there. -

Exaggerate much? As for your second question, yes. -
Didn't you hear? We beat the Texans, we're the best team in the NFL now!
