  1. I'm tired of the speculation that Moulds will be gone in 2006. Lee Evans was shut out after Moulds left the field. The only reason he was able to get three touchdowns in one quarter was because of the double teams Eric was receiving. There will be a ton of water that passes under the bridge before the Bills reach the decision point regarding Moulds. The decision will not be reached until these questioned are answered: Production/numbers during the remaining games? New GM? New Head Coach? New Offensive Coordinator? Contract reduction talks? His feelings? GM/HC's feelings? These are all factors that will eventually determine if he stays or goes. This constant speculation that it's all but a done deal is a complete fabrication and basically putting the cart before the horse.
  2. "I'm sorry Mike, but you're being let go. I feel like the Bills have a better chance to win without you coaching it."
  3. Yet the offensive line continues to get pats on the back and "atta boys" from Malarkey and Donahoe when questioned of their pathetic play from the media. The offensive line has had more lackluster efforts than Paris Hilton has had sex partners. I'll take an angry, rowdy, in your face Eric Moulds over any one of our pitiful offensive lineman who have elevated the term "lackluster effort" in 2005. As long as you shut up, Malarkey and Donahoe will tell everyone that you're great even if you suck.
  4. Bravo, Malarkey's pathetic power play is about to blow up in his face when everyone outside of Buffalo and Miami will now know how he cost the Bills the game and the season with his bush league playcalling in the second half. When the Bills became his little chemistry set, the s hit the proverbial fan when the game clock reached double zeros. Hey Mike, get lost.
  5. I can't wait till Malarkey is canned. Not putting Eric Moulds in your gameplan...brilliant! What a joke of a coach. How about benching some of the interior linemen who have contributed nothing this season and are stealing their paychecks every week? No he's got to stick a burr under Moulds' saddle. I wish TD and MM were getting canned before the season ends, put Jerry Gray in as an interim coach but get these jokers out of here immediately.
  6. Last season the Bengals record was 8-8 and they won 3 games on the road. This Bills team has a great chance at going 4-12 with no wins on the road. These Bills are far from the 2004 Cinncinatti Bengals. I say bring back Levy. I don't care how old he is, this team needs to stop being a laughing stock and get some credibility back on the sidelines.
  7. Yeah right. Like Marvin Harrison, Terrell Owens and Armani Toomer all of whom were selected in the same class as Moulds. Are they on the downside of their careers???? The only downside regarding Moulds and these receivers is the fact the he's the only one playing for a team with an f'd up offensive line. It'll be the sad day if the Bills do cut him and we all watch as the worst fears are realized as he no doubt flourishes on a team that knows what it's doing. Harrison said he feels like he's been in the league only 4 years, you think Moulds isn't in the same kind of shape Marvin is in? Try again.
  8. Wrong, try Rodney Harrison and Terrell Owens as the real examples of what these teams will do to get a player the caliber of Eric Moulds. You having Moulds being offered the veteran minimum is laughable.
  9. Yeah???? Well good luck trying to get good to great players in here in the foreseable future. When players on our team and throughout the league see that the Bills are all too willing to cut ties with their leaders who actually contribute and earn their paychecks, they will not be coming to Buffalo. The Bills have a hard enough time getting free agents because it's perceved as one of the least "attractive" cities in the NFL. You wait and see what happens if they cut Eric to save a few million dollars in cap money.
  10. It always about the money. This is clearly a flat out rumour or a Bills front office leak, not Eric's doing. Why would a player talk about how his team will get rid of him because he sucks now? That makes absolutely no sense at all. If the Bills foolishly do get rid of him I could see Eric looking to get with New England or Philly, but that is only IF the Bills are stupid and get rid of him. Moulds' numbers are directly linked to the clusterf*ked that is our offensive line problems. It's a well known fact throught the league that we have the second worst offensive line after the Houston Texans.
  11. Yeah right! He doesn't want to cash in his 11 million dollar paycheck!! If he's cut he would make at most half of what he'd make in Buffalo in 2006. There's no way in hell it's Moulds' people.
  12. Tinfoil hat? That explains it. I was thinking you had a crush on Holmgren.
  13. I gave you his reason... "...He wants everyone to believe that the Seahawks really are a dominating team even though they aren't." He was embarassed at the way his team won. BTW, I could give a rats @ss about him.
  14. "On Tuesday, the NFL issued the following statement: "Our officiating department never discussed with the Seahawks the Amani Toomer touchdown reception, which was properly called. The Jeremy Shockey touchdown catch at the end of the first half was not overturned because the referee determined that there was insufficient visual evidence to reverse the call." The NFL has no reason to lie, they've admitted officiating mistakes in public before and they'll do it again in the future. I believe that Holmgren misconstruded whatever talks he had with the NFL. He wants everyone to believe that the Seahawks really are a dominating team even though they aren't.
  15. Exactly. Taking away your young quaterback's best go to receiver for the sake of a five million dollar cap savings is an insane thing to do. Especially when there are no TE's to speak of on this team and Lee Evans is having a down year.
  16. I say pay the man his 18 million till the end of the his contract. To me, blowing a hole in your receiving corps the likes this team has ever seen is the alternative and something I'd rather not have happen. They'd be paying his prorated bonus money anyways so why not have the man here rather than having Losman up the creek without the proverbial paddle. I keep hearing you cut the cord guys but I've yet to hear who you'd see replacing Moulds.
  17. You're so off on Eric's salary worth it's not even funny. If he were to be cut there'd be a line of teams vying for his services and he'd get about a 3 year contract in the 5 million per year range with a 5 million signing bonus. Other NFL teams know how screwed Moulds was in 2005 with how badly the QB situation pulled his numbers down. Although Eric may be making a million or two more than he's worth, you don't cut your nose off to spite your face. The Bills offense would no doubt be so screwed without him in 2006. If Moulds is cut who's the Bills #1 receiver?
  18. So he's not good for the Bills who haven't sniffed the playoffs in forever, but he's perfect for the Eagles who do nothing but pass and have real honest to goodness Superbowl aspirations every year. You speak with a lot of confidence but you're making absolutely no sense here.
  19. How can you be a game breaker when the team went with a QB with no experience to a QB that couldn't throw the ball beyond 5 yards???? Add in the fact that this team gives it's QB zero time to throw the ball deep. There's more than a good chance that Eric's low production is tied into these facts. Please tell me who will replace Eric in 2006, Lee Evans? Yeah right, he's been quite the game breaker this season! ...and who will be the Bills other starting wideout???? Moulds is one of the few guys on this team that's solid, you don't know this because you're only looking at his stats. Hard to attain lofty numbers when the caliber of QB throwing the ball was an all time low for the majority of the season.
  20. Not so fast... http://www.nfl.com/teams/story/SEA/9068640 Mike Holmgren is a liar and needs to shut up about a game that his team should have lost three times. Nothing like being a poor winner you fat head.
  21. Newsflash, #1 wide receivers make a lot of money. For good reason too, if a team has no threats at the wideout position then they had better damn well have the best run blocking team in football. Why is it that you think us having a good line is tied into Eric Moulds' contract? Last I knew the Colts are paying Harrison top dollar and they have a great line. One does not excude the other and there are true bums on this team the Bills need to cut ties with to free up money. Do you honestly think Lee Evans is a #1 receiver after this season? Please tell me you don't. And who is going to be the #2 receiver? Please tell me this. If you don't pay top dollar on a receiver then you'll end up getting what you payed for. Crap. You want a pressing need???? If you get rid of Eric Moulds then wideout WILL be our most pressing need. I can B word and moan about the quality of our lines AND still want Moulds back next season. I'd find another target if I were you because life without Moulds would be way too painfull for the Bills.
  22. Hard to get "good" separation when you are double teamed all game long. I have a feeling Moulds will be making you eat those words in the coming weeks considering how much confidence JP is throwing the ball with.
  23. You must not have received the memo...ESPN sucks. For God sakes why are you still watching that channel????
  24. How can you tell? As far as I know he had a woefully inaccurate and inexperienced JP Losman during the first four games and then he had the noodle armed Kelly Holcomb the next four games after that. Eric Moulds is still a top ten receiver if given a QB that can get him the ball. I could totally see the Bills giving up on Eric and having a team like the Eagles pick him up and seeing him have a monster year. Should I mention the fact that the Bills have the second worst pass protecting offensive line in the league? But Eric Moulds somehow sucks all of a sudden. Moulds IS still #1 material, he'll be the #1 man next season also whether it's for the Bills or for someone else. I'm tired of the Moulds bashing and the eagerness here of fans wanting Eric gone, it's amazing to me.
  25. Fine, go and listen to your nagging mother-in-law then. After all, she does know best (especially after the fact).
