  1. No Ron Rivera either? Check out that Bears defense, plus he seems like he'd be a tough as nails no-nonsense guy the Bills are looking for.
  2. Why no Dan Reeves???? He's younger than Levy and has brought his team to as many Superbowls.
  3. Yet the Giant players were somehow able to get over two time MVP Kurt Warner's demotion in favor of Eli Manning's development. This show's how much stronger a coach Coughlin is and how much more coachable the Giant players are. This team is full of "know-it-alls and at this point I'm starting to hope the house cleaning moves into the locker room. Talking badly about your teamates and the organization that pays your salary doesn't seem to sit well with me.
  4. Marv Levy will not hire an ex-head coach that just quit on his team. He already's done that and bought the t-shirt thank you. Haslett will not be the next Bills head coach.
  5. Ron Rivera looks like one tough SOB. I'm sick of the panty waist coaches of the GW and the MM era. I do hope they give Rivera a look. If I were looking at coaches with previous experience then I'd say Dan Reeves, Mike Sherman or Mike Martz.
  6. It still ticks me off that he was pulled in the Atlanta and New Orleans games. He needed to be given every opportunity to pull out those wins or take his lumps. Eli Manning was given those opportunities and he has pulled off some amazing wins for the Giants in the forth quarter. The sad part of this is that his teamates were not on board once he started playing like a rookie. Instead of rallying around him they took entire games off in the hopes that Holcomb would replace him. The most startling qualities of the Buffalo Bills is that they're a team that's weak minded and directionless. They have no idea of what the concept "playing like a team" means. They all (coaches and players) looked for someone to blame thier p*ss poor performances on and Losman was the oh so convenient target. Unless Malarkey can pull a rabbit out of his *ss and make this team pull together and run through walls for each other this team will no doubt have a coaching change in mid season. This scenario is so coming it's not even funny.
  7. What character issues does Willis McGahee have? Did he do or say something bad that I missed? With McGahee getting 1200 yards behind our JV line, this guy deserves better than this. Bills fans need to step off this "no character" garbage already.
  8. This is a commercial that shows what it's like to be a Bills fan. I think it should win an award it's so good. It hits the nail on the head and it shows us fans in the best light since the whole point of it is about believing in our team. I'll even bet you that it was a Bills fan who came up with the concept. It's the most genuine thing I've seen on that channel in a long time.
  9. What about Jim Zorn? I posted this link in the Russ Grimm thread... http://www.realfootball365.com/nfl/article...nator100106.php Like it or not, this is the type of guy we'll end up getting. I liked Zorn as a player, Losman certainly can run around like he once did.
  10. http://www.realfootball365.com/nfl/article...nator100106.php Jim Zorn sounds like a real possibility here. JP's style of play actually is very similar to the way Zorn played. I remember that Zorn used his feet to make a whole lot of big plays when he was in the league. I'm sure he's learned a ton being in Seattle, especially about the need for a great running attack. This might be the perfect candidate if a proven guy like Norv Turner isn't willing to come over here.
  11. He does look mean and nasty! I could see him in a Bills uniform.
  12. A little birdy just informed me D'Brick is D'Man. So many players to choose from, if D'Brick or another can't miss type guy isn't there I could definitely see the Bills trying to trade way down to pick up a second rounder. I want mean players that play with a "I'll rip your head off" attitude. I don't care if he's on offense or defense. The Bills need an attitude adjustment.
  13. Thanks, got it! I guess we'll have to wait to see where he falls if he comes out.
  14. Many here seem to want him, but what's up with this? http://insider.espn.go.com/melkiper/index....er%2findex.html
  15. Hmmm...looks like there's not a ton of draftniks here. Oh well. Anyone else think this team lacks meaness? In my eyes, they played like a bunch of cupcakes in 2005.
  16. ...and is a top notch draft eligible player that'd be worthy of the number 8th pick? Looks like Levy likes former captains and I know our team lacks intestinal fortitude. From what I read about D'Brick, he looks like another player who's got motivational issues. If this is the case I don't want him even if he's there, I'd rather take a mean lower grade offensive lineman in the second. I want a Shaun Merriman type! Any draftniks out there who could clue us in?
  17. No, those players just thought it was more important to party the week prior to the Wide-Right Giant Superbowl game. Side note: Bruce Smith and Cornelious Bennett showboated plenty of times as I recall.
  18. This is all I could dig up on Kyle Turley. He's still only 29 years old, he'd be worth a look, right? http://www.kffl.com/player/1240/nfl
  19. Sorry but I've had it with the fans dumping on Losman after only eight games under his belt. The Bill's trading for David Carr?! Please. How about we trade for an offensive lineman that can actually earn his keep? Building the offensive and defensive lines is what will help cure the Bills' ills. Not chucking yet another QB under the bus.
  20. Sorry, but this is the least intelligent post I've laid eyes on in a long long while. Carr is a proven bust, while Losman has at least shown some flashes of real talent and has started ONLY 8 games so far. Which means the jury is still "out"!
  21. You hit the nail on the head. Throw Malarkey's playbook in the trash. I think they need to go with the three wideout, single back offense.
  22. Why? Because the 4-3 worked so well for us last season? If we get Capers he can do what he thinks is best as far as I'm concerned.
  23. It seemed to me that JP was much more productive when he was running the hurry up offense. I don't have the numbers but it's just my recollection. I think the Bills should incorporate this into their offensive philosophy. Full time? Maybe not. But I think that JP Losman is the type of player that is a bit more comfortable when things are a little bit caotic. Wasn't this his MO as a college player? The kid's got wheels, he'd have McGahee, Evans, Parrish, Moulds ect. so he does have the weapons to tire out defenses in a hurry if he were given a non-traditional attack. Let's face it, was there a team in the league that was more predictable than the Bills on offense? Was there a team that had more troubles in the red zone? Sometimes drastic measures are in order. This team must set their sites on beating Belichek and Saban for the next 5 to 10 years, whatever offense they're running needs to get thrown out the window. They need to run whatever offense the players they do have will thrive on. I think the k gun or something close to it would suit the players we have. Of course to make this work we need to add at least 2 quality offensive lineman on this team, that's a given.
  24. Excellent backup QB? You must have missed the Jet game. The 4-12 Jets made him look very silly and non-excellent. The Bills need to design an offense around JP's skills. Therefore they must find a veteran backup with a similar skill set. The square peg round hole path is not a good one to to follow.
  25. Sam could be the brains and map out everything from practicing to game planning and he could have an assistant be his mouth piece. Sam could wear a microphone and his assistant could be hooked up to a headset if he needed to communicate verbally. I really wish Kelly could be that guy but I doubt it. Just throwing around ideas.
