That would be amazing, but I don't think Austin will be there. He killed it at his pro day.

Good Robert Quinn interview... http://www.nationalfootballpost.com/Robert-Quinn-I-feel-that-my-speed-off-the-edge-is-unmatched.html I now think there are three obvious "elite" talents in this draft...Peterson, Green and Quinn. Being out of football for a year and having an outstanding pro day like that tells to me that he's going to be a real special player.

You think that Brady's having a bad day, look what Drew Greed's mouth has done wrought... http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2011/04/05/sam-huff-fires-another-salvo-at-drew-brees/ Drew Brees is a supreme jerk considering how little those old school guys made back in the day when they were laying the brick and mortar for what is now a 9 billion dollar industry. Wow, I never disliked Brees until reading what he said. His helping out poor families during Katrina was probably nothing but him putting on a show to garner fan favor and bolster his bank account.

Rumor: Trade Between Bills and Eagles
1billsfan replied to Bangarang's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Sounds like something the Eagles wish and hope the Bills would be stupid enough to bite on...LOL 1. Kevin Kolb serves no purpose since Fitzpatrick is a better QB than him and both players are entering their final years of their contracts. 2. You can't trade players this year since there will be no agreement between the players and owners. 3. If the Eagles do want the #3 overall, they had better come prepared to pay through the nose...try the Eagles 1st, 2nd and 3rd AND next year's #1 and #3 picks. -
You can thank Mike Mayock for Gabbert. He was the first one to promote his status. I remember him showing this one play on the NFL Network where Gabbert looked off a receiver and completed a pass, and that this one play proved that he'd be a franchise QB. Now he has serious egg on his face. He all but guaranteed that after Gabbert's pro day, he'd be the clear #1 guy in the draft...LOL Uh yeah, guess again Mike. I've lost all respect for Mayock ever since his Gabbert love fest. I no longer care what Mayock says about a player anymore.

If the Bills don't take a QB in the first or maybe even Mallett in the second, you can forget the QB position at least until the fourth round depending if there's anybody left like Tyrod Taylor. The Bills are looking at possible "franchise" type QBs, not QBs who's best will never be better than what we already have in the still young 28 year old Ryan Fitzpatrick. Except for Mallett, taking a QB in the second is a throw away pick for a team that still has MANY needs at other starting positions.

I must have missed something, who's "MockOne" and who's "they"?

You can't trade players in this draft since there will be no agreement reached between players and owners beforehand.

"Majority of Muslims want Islam in politics, poll says" http://articles.latimes.com/2010/dec/06/world/la-fg-1206-muslim-poll-20101206 We're talking about hundreds of millions of people in the world who want to be governed by the laws of Islam (if there are a billion practicing Islam this has to be the case, correct?). This is where people get confused by the word "extremist." I happen to think that these hundreds of millions of people are not moderate, but extreme in their views. Is it a moderate view to want stoning laws for adulterers? I think that this non-truly peaceful and moderate muslim mindset of wanting islamic law is the 21st century's version of nazism. The world watches as the middle east uprisings and revolutions shakes out. Who wins? Who loses? Who's in charge? Will these countries become islamic states? Comparing a crack pot reverend with the growing concern that the majority of muslims in the world are in favor of islamic rule is beyond ridiculous. He's a nobody, no nothing, attention grabbing idiot.

I have a feeling that if the right impact blue chip player is there around pick 6 on back, they'll move up this year... http://www.nesn.com/2011/04/robert-quinn-worthy-of-major-draft-day-trade-for-patriots.html This isn't the first time I read a Pats blog about them moving up for Quinn...hmmmmm i just hope that the Bills don't try to get cute and move back thinking he'll still be there. Because the Pats have a ton of chips to cash in (if they want to) and get cornerstone player for them. The two guys I could see them doing that for is Quinn and Peterson. I do not want to move back in this draft
-
I have those concerns as well. I can't even imagine the high drama before our pick if the Panthers don't take this guy.
-
One thing about getting Newton is that after getting taken to the woodshed by the NFL "experts", we could potentially be getting an impactful player with a humongous chip on his shoulder. Kind of like what Thurman Thomas had, but of course with much differing reasons. I'm torn in regards to picking Newton on account of not knowing what's fact and what's fiction on him.

Ask a Quinn fan if he wouldn't mind having Miller instead, or vise versa. Does a fan like that exist here?...and if they do exist, they've remained silent as far as I've read. I just got done watching the NFL's "Path to the Draft" and WOW, did Quinn pop off the screen! He looks like the "Bad Things" freak we've all been waiting for since Bruce Smith left the building.
-
You're welcome, that's a great 40 time. Miller fans can no longer downgrade him in the speed department. Quinn's stock rising in 3, 2, 1 ...

Second link in bold.

Quinn impresses today (4.59 in the 40)… http://blogs.nfl.com/2011/03/31/quinn-little-impress-at-large-unc-pro-day/ http://blogs.buffalobills.com/2011/03/31/quinns-pro-day-numbers/

1. Sack, fumble 2. Pressure, should have resulted in an easy interception 3. Pressure against a double team, interception returned to the 1 yard line In what world does this equate to effectively blocked? These are game turning plays. Would you say that if Bell had that kind of day against Jerome Harris?
-
I call three game changing plays against one of the top tackles in the nation going to town, yes I do. BTW, no one else in this draft has that Bruce Smith-like lean of Quinn which he displays in that first strip sack. That was awesome and something we haven't seen here in over a decade.
-
Tired of you bag'n this guy. This is Quinn going to town on Anthony Castonzo... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kqJrjwjf55c Give me a break, the guy was a freak as a sophmore.
-
As I stated previously, I no longer take your opinions seriously.
-
That's a prediction from outer space...LOL IMO, Tyron Smith will be the first OT taken in the draft.
-
Also... ...the Bills were 32nd in rushing touchdowns with a paltry 6 ...and if you take away Fitzpatrick's rushing yards they were 30th in total rushing yards Yet we never hear about the abysmal rushing game here...LOL
-
I saw a clip on youtube of NC against BC and Quinn was being double teamed by the LT Castanzo and the LG. Quinn literally bull dosed his way through the double team on his way to the QB, who then threw a desperation pass that was intercepted and returned to the 1 yard line. This is what translates to being a successful 3/4 OLB NFL, not a speedy smallish OLB which is what Millers game is all about. That's not to say that Miller won't be as good or better, I just think Quinn has the better chance at being the superstar than does Miller.

If the scathing indictments mentioned in this blog doesn't go national I will be very surprised. It's already been taken up by the Charlotte Observer with over 10 pages of comments. NFL Network, ESPN should both be covering this because it's already being discussed by the media and fanbase of the teams rumored to be interested in Newton. These comments are brutal and I think the national NFL reporters need to take this guy to task and find out if he's right or if he's way off base (maybe even slanderous?). This is shocking stuff if it turns out this guy's relying on people with axes to grind and Newton's basically a good kid who made a couple stupid mistakes.
-
For being a year out of football and the worst thing you can say about the guy is that his combine was "less than spectacular," that tells me the guy's going to be a stud. I saw his combine and you couldn't tell one iota that he'd been off a year. His body size, strength and agility on the edge hit all the check marks on what we're looking for in a 3-4 pass rushing/run stuffing OLB. I'd pick him all day over the smallish speedster Miller. Can't wait to hear how he does.
