  1. I did not agree with Ralph voting against the CBA in the way that he did. True it may be that in the long run it will benefit Buffalo. However, HE was the one who looked foolish when trying to give an explaination. The comments he made labeled him a laughing stock throughout the media. He had no explaination for why he voted against it besides that he did not understand it. He basically took a safe bet guess and it paid out well for him later. I am very grateful Ralph has given us the Bills, and I'm proud of the way he has ran the franchise over time, but let's be realistic. He's 87 and losing his mind. Marv on the other hand is 80 and is still very sharp. This is not about age. This is about having the ability to carry about business, which I believe Ralph is in the process of losing.
  2. Ouch. I think reality just slapped me in the face.
  3. Agreed. Whoever (Vikings?) can pull off a deal to get Schaub will be getting a great player. I believe he's a free agent next year, so maybe if things dont work out...
  4. That's what I've heard, too. On top of that, he put off running a timed 40 until his pro day and then didn't run. One scout said something like he should be wearing a bra because his body has gotten so soft.
  5. I agree that Marv did well here. Imagine what he could've gotten if he traded Sam Adams or Lawyer Milloy! We could be the kings of the second day of the draft!
  6. OOOOooo! Optimism! I wanna join! Let's take a look at the players picked in the 134 spot over the years! Johnnie Morant - WR Jeremiah Pharms - LB Anthony Midget - CB Shelly Hammonds - DB Casey Dailey - DE Ovie Mughelli - FB < i think he actually plays still! ...and that's just to name a few! Wow! I'm pumped!
  7. Great post. You did not specify when, or from what team. So if the Ravens release their third string QB by the name of JP Losman after the 2009 season, I will provide you a razor.
  8. Not meaning to make this more bizarre, but I just glanced at your profile and we were born on the same day. Cheers in 21 days.
  9. I'm anxious to see how Dick will determine playing time for the quarterbacks. If it is truely going to be an open competition, then each qb should get at least one start, or a good number of reps against a starting defense. I'm very excited to see what Nall can do when given a good opportunity.
  10. Was just reading an article by Peter King (don't ask why) and noticed that one reader asked why the Seahawks didn't get an opening weekend primetime slot. This is the response. Link I have not heard this, so sorry if this is old news. But it sounds like (if true), the Bills will get one MNF game this year. IMO, this is a good strategy for ESPN. Teams like Green Bay, Philly, and Dallas won't get 3-4 MNF games anymore.
  11. I'm willing to be patient. We will lose games, but the excitement of watching guys like Losman, Everitt, Evans, McGahee, Crowell, and McGee develop into stars will be enough to keep me watching the games. But I must say that if management waits too long, and Ralph passes on, we may regret this rebuilding strategy.
  12. That is honestly one of the better mocks I've seen. I like the prediction of Vince Young falling. Personally, I'm not a big fan of him, but can't see Arizona passing on him at 10.
  13. They played together at Tulane and fought for the starting job. Neither seemed to like the situation.
  14. Ramsey and Losman aren't exactly on great terms from what I understand. That could have a lot to do with why we have stayed away from Ramsey.
  15. $1.668 million for the upcoming season, which is the last on the contract. Good move on the Jets part.
  16. ...and secretly went to mighty taco to eat away his worries. I had a friend there who ate lunch with him...
  17. Just because he's not a big name doesn't mean jack. Many good quarterbacks worked their way up. Alright. I have to do this... Sorry... Nall (26yrs) 6 G / 23-33 (69%) / 314yds / 4 TD - 0 INT / 139.4 Rating Losman (25yrs) 13 G / 113-228 (49%) / 1372yds / 8 TD - 9 INT / 63.5
  18. This would be the perfect fit for what Marv said he was looking at in bringing in a quarterback. Rumor has it that Detroit was considering signing him to compete for the starting job. If he came to Buffalo, he would have a great shot at the backup spot. And he was Brett Favre's closest friend in Green Bay. That can only be a positive.
  19. I'm starting to think all these players just want free trips to south Florida.
  20. Just saw on Espnews... Ralph said no because it was too complex of a deal for him to understand in 45 minutes.
  21. Noticed there is a lot of talk in the articles at ProSportsDaily.com concerning the Bills. Some is just mere speculation, but other stuff has some merit to it. Regardless, here is a summary of what I read. - Miami is interested in WR Josh Reed and possibly C Trey Teague - Concerning QB Josh McCown, "Speculation has McCown landing with quarterbackchallenged teams like Detroit, New Orleans, Buffalo or Miami." - K Adam Vinatieri, "Word is Dallas will go hard after Vinatieri, while Green Bay and Buffalo, two tough places to kick, also will be in the mix." - TE Matt Schobel, "The Texans are one of the teams interested in Cincinnati tight end Matt Schobel, the Columbus native who played at TCU... Buffalo and Minnesota also are interested in him." - T Jon Runyan, "Buffalo, which released its starting right tackle, former No. 1 pick Pat Williams last week, could be Runyan's most ardent suitor."
