1. I predict a very low scoring game.....but in this one the coaching staff is smart enough to platoon their backs....keeping them both fresh....we grind it out on the ground with an occasional pass....

And the game ends with Brady coughing up the ball after Sam Adams gives him a "hug".....resulting in a defensive TD.....

TBD will rejoice.....and Stevejanosan and DC Tom will become buddies

  2. I just don't get it......

Rather than watching what is a big decision for our country, A decision that will effect everyday life in America you need to/want to watch a reality show?

I work all day long why in Fvckin god's name would I go home to watch people compete for a job? Isn't that what we do all day long?

Because they are going to keep reairing it all night....

But hey......the bikini shows....now...that is important stuff.....

  3. Dude... I respect where you're coming from on this... I really do.  However, I've got to tell you... Drew is the problem and JP is the cure.  I'm telling you now that if Drew is at QB, you may as well as give up on the season.  Defensive coordinators around the league know Drew's game and how to defend him.  The margin for error for every player on offense while Drew is at QB is "nil" because he can't improv nor make quick and correct decisions.  Continuing to play Bledsoe is going to literally cut the heart out of the players around him, if it hasn't already.

Now, onto JP.  The kid is basically Fltuie with size and an arm.  His comments re: the coach saying we're good and JP saying essentially, "yeah, right, we're good when we start playing good"... shows me that this kid is ready and wants to take this team on his shoulders.  His infusion of enthusiasm, bravado, ability to improv will be infectious to this offense.  The players around him will begin to have a bounce in their step, a swagger, an aura of confidence, and will reflect his personality.  The defense will take a few more chances as well knowing that the offense can carry it's share of the load... and special teams will begin to get better.... and maybe even Lindell.

Believe me, JP will take the Bills farther than will Drew will... and this year.  There are bumps in the road, of course.  If Mularkey ain't willing to take the risk then he doesn't deserve to be a coach in this league.  Tough and brazen decisions begin with the coach.... and who would have thought that a guy named Tom Brady, just going into his 2nd season as a pro would unseat Bledsoe as a starter, let alone take them to the SB?

    DeeRay...

No....JPL is NOT Flutie with better abilities.....why? E.X.P.E.R.I.E.N.C.E.......

WHen JPL comes in and throws 3 picks in a game will you fall off the wagon as quickly as you hopped on?

    The facts are this:

    - JPL is not healthy yet....so the whole conversation is moot

    - JPL should be FULLY recovered before he even sees the field

    - JPL when he does come on will make big plays....he will also be the cause of big plays against us while he learns......

I have no problem with JPL being on the field this year under the right situations....mop up duty.....or if Drew B. gets hurt.....

  4. McKinnie gave up 11 sacks last year, Williams 9.  Who outplayed who last year?  Jennings, a 3rd round pick gave up 2 or 3.

If you compare Pace's first two seasons with Williams, Williams gave up 2 more sacks than Pace.

If McKinnie was drafted by the Bills, he would have been a RT too, especially since he decided to hold out half of his first year.  Jennings would have had the LT spot nailed down, and McKinnie's play would have kept him at RT.

The problems with the OL has been inexperience, changing positions, offensive scheme and gameplan, and the loss of Larry Centers, who was able to get Bledsoe out of a jam.

Then again, I don't have the apparent mind reading skills of Peter King.

    50929

The problem I have with the whole thing is we aren't talking about a mid first round pick or even a end of the first round pick...

We are talking about the FOURTH OVERALL PICK.....even when this guy is out of shape....and green he should be just knocking people off the ball from sheer talent.......

Then you see guys like Mike Pearson doing so well for the jags....oh man....I did like Mike Pearson

  5. As an offensive linemen Mike Williams isnt going to get any love from me till he gets his head screwed on right.....

There are OL out there that would give their left "whatever....take your pick" to be able to play ONE SEASON in the greatest sports stage in the world.....

Mike Williams should have been getting his body ready to go even if his mental being was not there do to his problems......

Christ...I really dont understand it....I go to the gym to WORK OFF the frustrations of my life so they dont consume me....what is so fricken difficult about that......

    Get it together Mike.....

  6. I think this is a problem in the making. Most of your better offensive tackles are guys ranging in size from 300-315, guys who have speed to handle speed rushers and blitzing lb's coming off the edges, and have quick feet to maintain their balance and bounce back and forth keeping their blocking responsibility in front of them.  If this is our future starting LT and we let Jonas Jennings walk, our oline is billsfanone.  This guy like Mike williams is big and fat, with marginal foot speed. The bills need to stop putting guys who are better off playing guard at tackle.

    50043

Is this meant as a sarcasm post?

Peters "average foot speed" at Tight End would probably make him the most agile tackle in the nfl?

That is of course....just my opinion

  7. OT was the plan all along, once he was re-signed to the practice squad. No surprise. The footwork is sure there.

Get him a phonics playbook and prepare him for 2005. Jennings will be leaving after this season.

    50037

I certainly hope that Peters is not "the plan" for next year......we need a veterant there....but it sure would be nice if he panned out.....

You could run the Tackle Eligible play....A LOT

  9. I've had enough.  This team is at the bottom of the barrel, and shows no signs of getting better.  We haven't made the playoffs in 6 freakin' years.  Now, we have given the Cowboys potentially the first pick of the 2005 NFL Draft in exchange for J.P. Losman.  Butler put us in salary cap hell while Donahoe has put us in talent hell.  Our players are stealing checks because they sure don't earn them.  Although I've been a lifelong fan, I'm nearly done with this team.  Like last year, watching them play is a terrible way to spend a Sunday.

    You know....I have a innovative concept...you can

    a. Either become one of those closet type bills fans and find something else to do with your time.....someday the bills will get better then you can leap onto the bills bandwagon again....I am sure we can make room....

    b. You can become a fan of another team....you know there are something like 30 other ones to choose from?

God I hate posts like this......

  10. Mine is not as dramatic as some....

My 12 year old son broke his ankle in football last year and I recieved a lot of good well wishes from folks on the board.....I remember being pretty down about it because nobody wants to see their kid on crutches.......

  11. Hey John.

Pool guy here in florida. I've talked to at least 10 homeowners who have it. ALL, dont recomend it. Why? Leaks, plain and simple. Plus other high maintenence things to do.

I could tell you some of their stories but, I think maybe you may have heard of some.

I decided not to do it because of what they told me. I'm in limbo right now as to waht I want to do. And you know what the options are, right?

    48789

Yeah it is either solar or a gas powered heater.....which costs a fortune to run.....

The leaks problem was a reason why I wasn't going to do it myself.....

  12. This is a pretty interesting story....at least I like telling it....

    - I have this large overgrown oak tree in my front yard....I have hated ever since I bought my house in Hemet over 5 years ago....too large to trim easily...probably would cost a fortune....ant infested....drops tons of leaves and acorns in the fall.....sucks all the nutrients around it for 5 feet so that the expensive sod I put down wont grow right....etc, etc, I remember thinking on several occasions that I would PAY somebody to take the thing away

    - So Friday of last week I get a call from the wife....someone shows up on our doorstep and offers to pay $1,000 cash, dig the thing out, take away all the greenwaste junk, chop up the good parts for firewood (all they wanted was the base), clean up, and replace it with a baby oak tree.......

I'm like....RIP HIS ARM OFF AND TAKE THE MONEY BEFORE HE RETRACTS IT.....I remember driving home that day thinking "there is going to be some kind of catch"

But there wasn't.....they did exactly as they said they were going to to do.....

So with my newfound 1K I was thinking about installing solar heating into my pool. I was wondering if anyone had experience with that at all here. I think it would cost less to do mine because when I had them biuld the pool I got it "solar ready" so that the solar stubs that lead to the pool are already installed......all someone has to do is put the panels on the roof....and install pipe for what amounts to 5 feet down to the stub......

    Anybody got any info?
