  1. i'm gunna go with spiller, dareus, glenn, and gilmore instead... 3rd rounders defining an entire regime... for !@#$'s sake..
  2. i re-read this again, partially to try and understand your point better, and partially for the lol's. but sorry i got nothin. what does donahoe have to do with anything? you say "haven't we seen this before"...as if history were repeating itself - but what exactly is your point? let's count the negative/pessimistic assumptions. 1. no one thinks glenn can play left tackle (wrong) 2. there's 2+ better left tackles out there (according to who? - wrong) 3. graham won't play for us this year (LOL, sure thing buddy) 4. they traded up (only a loser would make a big deal of that - we gave up the 217th pick - who gives a flying !@#$) 5. glaring needs at QB (uhh, moreso than the positions they drafted the last two days?) 6. buddy and chan think they're smarter than everyone (by taking 2 two 20 prospects?) it's pretty clear you're just a miserable dude. if it wasn't for pessimism, you wouldn't have any perspective at all. nice try.
  3. lol get out of here with this ****. all you're going off of is media driven projections that don't mean crap once sept comes around.
  4. "glaring" needs at QB and LB? moreso than CB, LT, and WR? pass whatever you're smoking. i think some ppl just B word for the sake of bitching.
  5. lololol at anyone calling her a butterface. hold on a sec... lolololol
  6. yea. good looking chicks usually get overrated by a bunch of dudes sitting around watching sports. she is the real !@#$ing deal.
  7. solid D - for didn't smile enough. i wanted 4 smiles and got 2. also, he had one of the longest hugs from goddell. probably means he's a daddy's boy and a wimp. we should've tried to trade up for ANYONE. i know this because i watched 2 youtube highlight clips, errrr i mean game film, and decided that claiborne would be the next revis, barron the next ronnie lott, and blackmon the next hakeem nicks. so glad we didn't take kuechly though, because he's the next poz. pissed we got the next leodis mcfumbles.
  8. best/worst in regards to what? what a bunch of media dinks slotted their "value" at? not to be that guy, but talk to me in 24 months.
  9. nix played the draft perfectly in regards to it's strengths and weaknesses. not surprised at all - he's a savvy guy.
  10. awesome. thanks man. we're excited to have him. seems like a jack-of-all-trades player with a lot of character.
  11. needs to be sticky'd to the top of this forum. nix doesn't give a !@#$ about the cornerback drafting history of dick jauron. he's building this team HIS way.
  12. holy crap. a couple things that need to get sorted out: 1. this whole idea that our franchise doesn't know how to build a winner because we like CBs --- is a !@#$ing joke. Nix has nothing to do with previous regimes - nothing. Nix looked at our line-up and felt we needed a talent upgrade at CB because the league has morphed into a pass-happy frenzy. If you're either A. clueless, or B. old and jaded, i can see why you're not excited about the sick potential of a Gilmore/A. Williams combo. 2. to call gilmore "mckelvin 2.0" is lazy and stupid. you know it and i know it. gilmore has more intelligence in his left foot than mckelvin. gilmore was named to the fall academic honor roll. mckelvin can't tie his shoes. this kind of stuff matters in a player. 3. game film =/= youtube clips.
  13. Buffalo Bills It will be very interesting to see how Buffalo uses the No. 10 pick. Free agency treated this team very well and the Bills look to be a team on the rise. The Bills also have extra picks in the fourth, fifth and seventh rounds. Having some many picks, and not lacking for overall depth as they often are this time of year, the Bills could be players over the course of this draft. I am just throwing it out there, but I sure bet coach Chan Gailey would love to get his hands on QB Ryan Tannehill. And that situation in Buffalo would be excellent for Tannehill's development, as he could sit behind Ryan Fitzpatrick and learn his craft under Gailey. If I were in charge of the Bills, I would be very interested in moving up to the seventh overall pick to grab Tannehill if he's still available. If that isn't the case, which is probably more likely, the Bills could go in several different directions with that 10th pick. Somewhat surprisingly, Buffalo doesn't have a lot of prominent needs right now, but it could certainly use a starting-caliber left tackle. A wide receiver opposite Steve Johnson would be second on my to-do list. The Bills should have their pick of any offensive tackle on the board besides Matt Kalil. But is Riley Reiff worth that 10th pick? I wouldn't use such a rich draft pick on Reiff, whom I view as a starting-caliber tackle but not special in any particular way. For the Bills, I actually preferred Mike Adams (before the news of his failed drug test at the combine), because of his high upside as a pass protector. But I prefer WR Michael Floyd to either. If the Bills bypass offensive tackle in the first frame, that should override everything else in the subsequent rounds. As the draft goes along, the Bills actually could find themselves in the very favorable position of taking the best player available, while adding a wide receiver somewhat early in what has shaped up to be a deep draft for the position. Buffalo, which also has a very favorable 2012 schedule, could make some noise in the AFC next season. A great draft, which seems possible, would sure help.
  14. i'd rather make some noise by running my car into a building than that alternative.
  15. lolol it's incredibly possible that one of blackmon or kalil drops to our pick. almost every year, there's a solid player who inexplicably drops out of the top 10. for those who have been studying the draft like i have since it's become such a huge mainstream event, the top 10 NEVER goes the way experts think it will. examples: 2007 - Pat Willis 2008 - Ryan Clady 2009 - Mike Crabtree while crabtree hasn't fully panned out yet, him being available at 10 was considered an absolute miracle at the time. as we know, the other 2 are all-pros. hopefully, we get lucky on thurs.
  16. can't think of a single reason why that's relevant.
  17. as my thread clearly stated, i'm on board.
  18. to me, there's a difference between BPA and BPA at a reasonable position. i think there's no way in hell we draft Cox or Barron, even if Buddy rates them as high talents. Here's my guess: Luck, RGIII, Kalil, Richardson, Claiborne - duh group Blackmon, Kuechly, Floyd, Glenn, Gilmore - next wave
  19. hindsight rules. anyone can go back and say they'd rather have JPP than Spiller. cool - but that doesn't represent the general consensus in April 2010. in 2014, i think we'll rue the day we passed on kuechly (if that indeed happens). our LBs are not a strong unit - they're okay at best. we're being optimistic that morrison and shepp will work out, and it just go happens that kuechly is perfect value at #10. it could be a match made in heaven.
