  1. I would love it. Anthony Davis is my choice for the top pick. I don't think Cam Thomas will be available in the third, though. Don't really recognize the rest of the names.
  2. And if he takes Pierre-Paul or Davis, will your reaction be that they are ready to contribute right away or that Nix made a mistake?
  3. So that means by virtue of Nix drafting him, he's not a reach?
  4. Tiki and Ronde Barber were both very good players.
  5. But unless you know who their top two or three are, then it doesn't mean they won't take the fourth off the board.
  6. He got it right. You miscounted the negatives.
  7. It's another teachable moment, brought to you by TBD.
  8. Why do people think Luck is coming out next year? He'll only be a redshirt sophomore.
  9. He had knee surgery after the season for what seemed to be a major problem. There was an article on the front page last week from the Laramie Boomerang detailing it.
  10. Nobody who hasn't failed a physical has been let go yet.
  11. From about two minutes ago: Ben (Michigan) Who do you think will draft Dan LeFevour and in what round? Mel Kiper (1:14 PM) I could see him going in the second round. He's my fourth best QB. He really helped himself in the Senior Bowl practices. He has a good enough arm. He has adequate mobility. Very smart. Loves to study film. I've compared him to Chad Pennington.
  12. Sometimes, it's hard to understand this board. If LeFevour had a huge arm, he'd be a first-round prospect. The only reason he's in the discussion in the 3rd is because of his lack of ideal arm strength. A poor pro day could drop him down to the 5th. But does that mean he's a bad pick altogether, even with one of our sevenths? No.
  13. Thank you! What is supposed to happen in the next month that will "solve" the problem? Are they going to run RF, TE, and BB through drills? Bring in someone new?
  14. Thank you kindly. Since you already have the spreadsheet set up, it might be worth looking at how it changes the YPA numbers, where Edwards was 24th and Fitzy 27th including all the drops, spikes, etc.
  15. Do you mind posting your raw data on this? I'd be interested in seeing the breakdown.
  16. Minus Denney, Wendling and Josh Reed. We'd be lucky to compete in the MAC
  17. From Mike Reiss, former Boston Globe reporter and current ESPN Patriots blogger: 9. If he stays healthy, defensive end Dwan Edwards could be the best value signing of free-agency. Edwards said the Seahawks and Broncos had concerns with his previously injured neck, so he landed in Buffalo on a reasonable four-year deal for a player at the position. http://espn.go.com/blog/boston/new-england...ound-nfl-pats-6
  18. That argument goes both ways - it's not very common for teams to add a QB at that point because quality QBs that teams see value in having on their roster are not often cut at that point. Here's a list of the final roster cuts. If you look at the QBs, that's not a group Brohm wants to be associated with: http://nbcsports.msnbc.com/id/32714871/ns/sports-nfl/
  19. Sorry to take this thread off-topic, but Joe D is not off to a great start when he says the Bills' best off season move was cutting TO when they, in fact, didn't cut TO.
  20. In order to be placed on the practice squad, you have to be released and clear waivers. Nobody claimed him. While on the practice squad, you can be signed by any team. No team signed him for ten weeks until the Bills did. So, it's a lot more than MacCarthy passing on him. Every team in the NFL in essence said they didn't want him on their roster.
  21. If you take the time to read the stories, you'll see the unemployment rates are below the national average.
