  1. As long as the NFL does have a full season it would not surprise me one bit if Singletary and Moss are the top rushing tandem this year. Singletary in between the 20s and Moss primarily in the red zone.
  2. Great respect to me our greatest rival. RIP Coach, today you are in remembrance throughout the league. I tip my hat to you.
  3. Ok, I appreciate your input, I really do, but I never even alluded to Brady being afraid of Buffalo, never. Also I’m not talking about our’s or anyone else’s offense, that has no bearing whatsoever for Brady because as far as weapons go Brady has plenty at his disposal down there in Tampa. I’m talking about the lack of weapons that he would have up in New England against our division, especially against us who has a much better defense than any one of those 3 teams down there in the NFC South. Does anyone think that if Brady stayed in New England this year that him and the Patriots would win the division? Me personally I don’t think so. Matter of fact I think that if they split the head to head with us that would be the ceiling. Never say never but at this point of what is currently going on between these 2 teams I’d be pretty surprised if they were able to sweep us this year. Once again, I’m not the only one expecting that, there’s plenty of national “experts” saying and thinking the same thing.
  4. The reading comprehension around here never ceases to amaze me, it’s unbelievable! At what point does it confuse anyone around here by me saying “any influence”?? How does anyone draw the conclusion of Brady being afraid or that the rise of the Bills is THE main reason for him leaving the division??! The majority of the national pundits are predicting the Bills to win the division. They are saying it, not me. Furthermore early last season, especially after they played, Brady was apologetic in that they had to rely on their great defense to pull out those early games. I will say that from this point forward Brady would not be enjoying the success against the Bills like previously in his career. He would not be able to accomplish anything more or better against the Bills. He would be diminishing and at this stage of his career why in the world would he risk looking worse, only to strengthen the perception that he is over the hill. Playing for New England at this stage against ANYBODY would not bode well for him or his legacy. The Patriots have plenty of their own woes with or without Brady. A defense that was ravaged in free agency, an unsettled OL, lack of quality WRs and playmakers and a franchise that has some serious salary cap issues that is not able to afford Brady the kind of help that he, or anyone else, would need to succeed there. Compound that with a doormat that they, he, were able to slap around at will that suddenly has a very talented and deep DL. Don’t believe me, then go read the numerous threads that are posted on this message board stating how great and deep our DL is. Ha, most of you make me laugh. Yeah, it doesn’t serve Brady well to stay in this division, regardless of the Bills. Criticize me for what I write, not what you comprehend. Maybe I shouldn’t of said that, it might be too deep for some of you.
  5. Put whatever spin you want on it but I never stated that it was the only reason, just a part that helped influence his decision to leave. As far as Tampa goes it’s rumored that San Fran was his first choice but they passed. Tampa was only an alternative.
  6. I wouldn’t bet against it. At this point of his career he’s not about to set significant records as it’s about preserving them. I haven’t ever remember seeing greatness without egos and I believe that Brady understandably is about putting himself in the best situation to succeed and prosper and staying in New England wasn’t affording him either of those aspects. Take case in point, I have always believed that Bill Parcels, as great of a coach as he was, cherry picked his way in establishing his record as a coach. He notoriously went after opportunities that were best served in his interest of succeeding beginning with the New England opportunity to the NY Jets to the Dallas Cowboys, he even advocated for the Tampa Bay opportunity in between the Jets and Cowboys tenure. He made a living out of exploiting dysfunctional organizations that had successful player personal pieces intact but were lacking directional and organizational direction. To me Brady knew it was time to jump ship, staying would provide nothing but failure and disappointment. New England is in the process of metamorphosing their roster well all the while struggling with their salary cap. Brady can thank Buffalo for a good portion of his success and lore. His timing in New England couldn’t have come at a better time. Under an aging Ralph Wilson’s watch we had the “privilege” of being led by a PR guy in Russ Brandon. This organization was so out of touch with the current state of the NFL at that time that it’s downright embarrassing. That can’t be claimed now, under Brandon Beane and Sean McDermott the Bills now enjoy competency at a very efficient rate and Brady realizes it. In the last 2 seasons in particular the Bills gave New England everything they could handle and then some. Make no mistake about it, nobody likes to go recede and Brady knows that the Bills are no longer a gimme opponent. It’s a new dawn in the AFC East Division and while nothing is ever promised the future for the Buffalo Bills does look promising while the sun goes down on Brady’s career.
  7. Good post. Here is what I have perceived so far with our OC, Josh and the offense overall. Daboll came in and in his exuberance he tries to incorporate a complex strategy that Josh is just not ready to be able to absorb, if ever. Daboll isn’t solely to blame, Allen at times tries too hard and doesn’t let others do their part as well. To say that this whole offense was/is a work in progress is not an over statement. So when Daboll simplified the game plan the production/results started to go up. With Josh’s physical attributes and now more talent and continuing around him I believe all Daboll needs to do is KISS, Keep It Simple Stupid. on another note, one that I can’t and won’t forget or overlook. In that first game against New England, Allen seemed overwhelmed or putsch out or whatever you want to call it. As the game went on he calmed down and started playing football. My point is I wonder if they were ever to play in the Super Bowl this year or next, would Josh be able to handle it and be able to perform without having a meltdown?
  8. Hahahaha, thank you so much man, that was hysterical! Lol! I am not laughing at you, I promise, but I had such a rotten day today that I needed something like this to break my foul mood. When I first read it my heart stopped, that would have been the icing on the cake for me today. Thank God that it was an error! Don’t sweat it pal, I have done worse, it was an honest mistake and nobody should break your balls about it, you’re a Bills’ fan and that’s good enough for me. Go Bills!
  9. Here’s a highlight video to support your post. Enjoy!
  10. Thank you for posting, it’s a great read. I must admit, when Beane and McDermott first started and was preaching about process, chemistry etc etc I believed it to a certain degree but no where’s close to what they actually have already accomplished! They are A++ in my book, especially their draft picks as a whole they have been outstanding! Go Bills!
  11. Thanks Over 29 years of fandom for posting this highlight video! Holy smokes, this kid hits like a Mack truck! Just about every tackle he dropped them dead in tracks! Forget about being a CB, load Jackson up on some protein to gain 20 lbs and this kid is a S, a SS at that!
  12. Haha, love this kid’s attitude! He says he’s willing to do whatever to help the team, even if he has to play Ccnter! Lol! Check out around the 5:30 mark, he’s ready to go. Bills Mobile: Dane Jackson: "Play Aggressive Force Turnovers"
  13. I’ve had my share of being accurate, check my archives. Really I bring up topics that I think should be discussed and/or explored. This topic is no longer valid, Williams just got traded to San Fran so the point is moot. I do feel that our OL still needs improvement and that was my point.
  14. Out of the 5 OL that you just named I think that Dawkins is the one that most concerns me. Ford is still unproven but that’s understandable but I don’t believe Dawkins is all that and then some. Maybe if he switched to RT he’d be more impressive. I just feel that he’s not a cornerstone LT. I’m probably wrong but so far that’s my impression of him, decent but not a superstar.
  15. What you say is true. I would like to think though if Williams isn’t what I perceive him to be then Buffalo wouldn’t trade for him. It’s all relevant, right? Well, my first opinion is already wrong. Maybe the Bills will take that CB or LB that I spoke about in the 4th rd now, seeing that they took Moss in the 3rd rd.
  16. I’m really thinking that Trevon Diggs was a strong candidate for us at #54 but Dallas erased that possibility. Of course A.J. Epenesa was predicted by more than a few prognosticators him to fall to us and it appears that it’s a pretty safe pick for us at a position of need for us. I fully expect a CB or LB in the 3rd rd, a RB in the 4th and after that it’s anybody’s guess. A QB anywhere later in this draft wouldn’t shock me as well. I kind of thought going into this draft that OL could of been a pretty good possibility at pick 54, another need for us, that could be a good future starter but that went by the wayside as well. This leads me to think that Beane’s reasoning of trading for a proven veteran player could come into play here imo. Like the Diggs’ trade, Beane didn’t want to risk relying on unproven and/or less of a player so that, to me, would make sense for the Beane to whip out one of his 1 or 2 year contract that he likes to use. Trent Williams’ stock has been falling considerably since last year. It’s rumored that maybe a mid or later rd pick could get it done. I’m sure with the picks that we still have, 5th rder and later, a package of a couple of them picks could probably get this handled. To me that would make a good draft for us and the roster would maintain a good blend of youth paired with seasoned veteran play. Beane and McDermott go out of their way to make sure they keep good veterans for leadership and so far it has created a great chemistry in the locker room. Go Bills!
  17. You may be right but if he makes it to early-mid 2nd rd then he would be in striking distance for a trade up. I’m not saying it’s gonna happen, just saying it could.
  18. It would be pretty cool if Buffalo did end up drafting him. https://www.syracuse.com/buffalo-bills/2020/04/buffalo-bills-wr-stefon-diggs-pens-touching-letter-to-brother-alabama-cb-trevon-diggs-video.html?outputType=amp
  19. Wow, appreciate your eye for talent, this kid has got some magic to him! I love it, the guy looks like a wild man, he should be a fan favorite wherever he goes.
  20. Some highlights from last year against the Panthers. A 4 TD game is still a 4 TD game, I don’t care who it’s against.
  21. Honestly I don’t really know enough about him to weigh in. If so the 49’ers are looking to upgrade their OL, especially the G position. If that’s accurate I’m sure the Bills have enough late rd picks and a surplus at the G position to be able to offer up a package for Coleman if they have any interest in him. Thoughts? https://www.si.com/nfl/49ers/news/could-the-49ers-draft-a-guard
