  1. We needed another RB. Stanzi will not be a starter in the NFL, so quit whining about him. Rds 5-7 are depth/ST picks with a rare player turning into a starter a'la Stevie Johnson. White will see the field and is supposed to be an excellent gunner on ST. If you remember, we were terrible on kickoffs last years so I'm happy with this.
  2. I was annoyed at his tweets til I saw the slurry of classless tweets that Bills fans sent to him throughout the draft. Here are a few: "Thank u donte! Now u can take a hike! Finally we got players who make plays" "I know right, great draft...almost makes me forget you were picked 8th." "Dude chage ur profile pic u don't play for us anymore. Byrd and wilson baby! No more all I do is talk whitner" I mean if you don't like the guy then don't like him. There's just no reason to kick a guy when he's obviously a little upset. Yes, he made unrealistic demands and yes he acted immaturely, but why do some people have to be such classless fans.
  3. The all testicular O-line just got Hair-y. That's exactly what we needed. Sounds like our developing O-line just passed puberty!
  4. Well, I'm going to go burn my Whitner jersey now.
  5. Boling is projected by everyone else as a guard. I don't put a lot of stock in McShay
  6. thanks. I didn't know that. Feel terrible for that kid.
  7. Mayock said he won't play this year and shouldn't go til very late
  8. Canon? I don't know why he has slipped so far. He was graded a rd2 pick. I also like Ziemba, Sturdivant, Mathews and DJ Williams
  9. NGU- My wishlist: 1-Brooks Reed 2- Ayers 3 Kyle Rudolph 4- Houston Any chance I'm happy with our pick?
  10. I thought Carter was recovering from an injury and would probably sit out this year?
  11. I like Reed and Houston a lot FWIW Ayers had 4 sacks last year, Houston had 10
  12. I agree with the original poster. I opened this thread to get actual information, not hear a couple of blowhards start a self-important debate. You are correct, this is a message board, so go start another thread for your little group of friends. I hate it when topics get hijacked. The thread was started by NGU, it should contain only questions for him and possibly some answers to those questions. Why some people think they can pontificate and think I want to hear their opinions on any matter rather than open a thread and read information pertaining to the actual topic is beyond me.
  13. We had something called an honor code at my school, anyone heard of it? Though I'm not sure someone who has chosen yet another "clever" weed reference as their screename puts much stock in honor codes, so his cynicism is to be expected.
  14. I hope we go LB in the 2nd even if we already got Miller. Our OLBs are terrible
  15. YOU DO NOT KNOW MUCH ABOUT FOOTBALL!
  16. Thanks for answering! From your answer I take that the FO really isn't ruling out ANY position based upon the players we currently have in place. I am glad to see us adopt a true best player available strategy over a hierarchy of needs. I feel we have missed out on several good players using the needs-based approach in the past; to our detriment.
  17. He had a top 15 grade on him if he had come out this year I believe, so I think a 2nd rd pick may be warranted in the supplemental draft.
  18. Dear Delusional, You seen to be under the impression that NGU is actually Buddy Nix. In fact, he is a poster who is kind enough to stop in at this board and provide us with insights that we would otherwise not be privy to. Why, in your pathetic need to somehow show off to board full of strangers, you have chosen to act as if picking an argument with NGU will change the Bills' draft process, I will never understand (being a person of sound mind myself). Personally, I don't care much for Newton as a person, but I don't see how screaming about it online will make a difference, nor am I foolish enough to think anyone here really cares about my feelings. Please grow up and learn to shut your mouth. Your slurry of unsolicited aggressive responses lessens other peoples' ability to enjoy the board. To NGU: What I would like to hear from NGU is if he has any ideas about the 2nd and 3rd rds of the draft. Has the brass considered that if we go Miller/Dareus in the 1st rd, we would use he 2nd pick for a TE like Rudolph or another QB they like (I like Kaepernick, but that's irrelevant), or is that really not on their radar? Thanks for your time. Always glad to see you post.
  19. I will mark your words, but I will only do so with contempt at being forced into it.
  20. You sir, represent all that is wrong and unholy in the world. From your terrible avatar, to the constant negativity.
  21. I don't care who gets what as long as there is football. Are the players getting paid? If so then I could care less about them getting health insurance after retiring. My job doesn't pay for it, why should theirs? And before you hit me with the "their job puts abuse on their bodies" I remind you that they get paid millions of dollars for that. Stop treating players like family members. They are tradeable commodities. Why do owners deserve more? Because they pay the bills. Period.
  22. Yes, that's exactly it! The problem is not that he has no heart, no work ethic and can't play his way onto the field over undrafted free agents, it's that WE haven't learned how best to use his lack of effort. If only we could devise a scheme where everyone on the defense could play full out and then hold the ball-carrier in one place so Maybin can run in a straight line and hit him, then celebrate unnecessarily for 30 seconds.
  23. KILLING the North. I am really liking this game. Good coaching by Chan
  24. Chan's interview was great, if only because he keeps his eyes on the field and you can tell he is really taking the game seriously. Oh and its kind of funny how you you can the reporters are a little annoyed because they expect his undivided attention.
