  1. Yes, the difference in value was 40 pts, our 4th rounder was worth 42 pts. We wanted a specific player, the team before us was long attached to the player. We made a move and drafted the player we wanted. Why don't you just add more instructions to this poll and tell everyone to vote not. Or better yet, just remove the option to vote yes. The question is valid, your attempt to get everyone to agree with you is not great.
  2. Your schtick is getting old. There's a difference between stating your position and running around trying to dog anyone who disagrees with you. Confronted with stats? Those don't count because they don't match my narrative.
  3. It is the browser. There are multiple issues with Edge doing this.
  4. I liked Mayer the most too obviously. But his skillset is just a better version of Knox, good blocker with better hands than Knox, but has good, not elite hands. Kincaid gives a different version of the same position with Elite hands and his blocking is good when he's on the move but he's not an inline blocker. Two different skill sets. Would be like saying we should draft a Will guy at LB because Edmunds left, that's what we have Milano for.
  5. Boston Connor asked the question "are you trading for Dhop"
  6. I value Marino's opinion more than those of you poo pooing the pick.
  7. Mayer is a much better blocker but athletically a little more limited and Kincaid has better hands. Knox was strictly an in-line blocker in college and can break out for some big plays and get open in the endzone. Knox will be the Y, take advantage of mismatches and get his catches while Kincaid will be the F (as per Beane on McAfee). What is F? F is a move tight end. Here's an article about it for those of you unfamiliar. F is basically a large slot receiver who gets moved around the field to create mismatches. https://www.espn.com/blog/afcsouth/post/_/id/39454/what-is-the-f
  8. https://www.drafttek.com/NFL-Trade-Value-Chart.asp?RequestTeam=BUF moving up 2 spot was 40 points - our 4th rounder is worth 42. The trade was in line with the value of the move.
  9. Beane was on McAfee and they asked him if he had been in talks on Hopkins and he flat out said they weren't pursuing him.
  10. You realize that TEs can catch the ball right? Kincaid is better than most of the WRs in this draft and we now have immediate mismatches when putting him and Knox out together. I've been hoping for more 12 personnel packages!
  11. Tell your hubby that Kincaid is more athletic and that's coming from someone who loves Mayer
  12. Absolutely thrilled with this pick. All of you bitching about not drafting a 3ft tall slot receiver - TEs are safety blankets too and this one can help with the OL blocking
  13. Nolan Smith - thought he would be gone Myles Murphy - thought he would be gone Drew Sanders Mazi Smith Michael Mayer Darnell Washington Dalton Kincaid
  14. Or, McBeane had no interest in sub 5'10 receivers and you built them all up in your head.
  15. Giants gonna take a TE, that's why they would trade up to stop Dallas from moving up. I could see Mayer here
  16. This, I don't want a smurf. I want someone who can play inside or outside. I'd rather take Mingo than Addison or Downs
  17. what picks to the Cards still have?
  18. If they had a high grade on these WRs, they would have shipped off a 3rd for them, I'm fine with this and I don't want Addison
  19. Glad they picked the WR I didn't like
  20. I'd honestly just trade back if Flowers is gone. Anyone we could pick at 27 now will have a similar grade to anyone in the 30s. I'd be happy with Drew Sanders but 27 is too high for him.
  21. *****, I didn't think he would go that high. There goes my guy
  22. For the trade up people (I'm not one of them) this is the point where we can move up without throwing away our second.
  23. Would be a horrible move, we'd have to give up our 2nd. Bills aren't moving up past TB
