  1. Jameson Williams would be a dream to drop into this offense. That said the early chatter @ the Senior Bowl, according to Tony Pauline, is that Williams and Wilson are the early favorites to be the 1st WRs taken in the draft. I know Williams tore his ACL last month, but I actually dont think it's going to hurt his draft stock that much, with how quick players recover from ACLs. His speed is intoxicating. I think Williams will be off the board much earlier than Bills fans are wishing.
  2. The Giants top 4 cap hits heading into 2022 are: Leonard Williams $27.3M James Bradberry $21.9M Kenny Golladay $21.1M Adoree Jackson $15.3M Absolutely brutal. The only player they can actually cut and save $$$ on is Bradberry, which is all but guaranteed given their cap situation (as the OP pointed out) That Leonard Williams deal was a special kind of horrendous deal that Gettleman concocted. Looking a little further down the list I wouldn't be surprised if the Giants look to trade/cut Sterling Shepard. Good player, but hurt a lot and they save $5M if cut.
  3. Aaron Kromer is another guy available. I like him when he was here back in '15. I believe Eric Wood talked him up, or maybe that was D'Allesandro. I forget
  4. I would welcome Jim Harbaugh to the AFC East. He's an old school, run & stop the run kind of guy. He loves to punt too. He'll be a mess in the NFL unless he really changes his tendencies,IMO.
  5. I tend to think if Dorsey chooses the Giants over the Bills it probably had a lot to do with Daboll over McDermott. If he and Daboll can turn the ship around fir the Giants they'll be kings in the biggest market in America. It'd be a bad sign for us and would have me thinking how much McDermott is actually liked in the building
  6. Saquan is a name @ this point He's awful. Injury prone, tons of negative plays. Think Shady near his end. I'd want no part of him
  7. Warren Sharp rags on Surmur's ineotness on twitter all the time. Hard Pass for me
  8. I wouldn't trust Calvin Ridley. Bounced on his team fir over half the year doesn't ring "loves football"
  9. If we got a proper squib or pooch kick to the 10 yard line and they fell on the ball that's 15 yards worse field position. That Whole game is different if they: A- start at the 10 with 13 seconds Or B- start at the 25-30 with 8 seconds
  10. He'll be a Giant, so will Levi Wallace. I expect a lot of poaching by Schoen (and likely Daboll) to occur.
  11. Simply said, it cost us our season. Had we squibbed the Bills would be hosting the AFCCG next Sunday. Really tough
  12. If you're a seaosn ticket holder they're already in your account manager. I have 4, plan on going and using 2 if it's in Buffalo, just out my other 2 up on stubhub for $777 each in section 134 and they sold in just a few hours. Of course that transaction only stands if both the Bengals and Bills win.
  13. Line will probably be out immediately after the conclusion of the Chiefs game. I say Chiefs -2.5 & I think it'll move quickly in the Bills direction and settle in around Chiefs -1.5. We're beating the Chiefs!
  14. I caught this too. Apparently Sal has never seen the spelling of the name Aaron. Mike kind of laughed and pointed it out, but Sal kept moving on.
  15. Cbs has 2 games, so very likely the A team of Nantz and Rimo will do the Cowboys vs 49ers game. Who is CBS's B team? I'd assume thays who we will get for announcers. Just checked according to 506sports it looks like our announcers are: Ian Eagle Charles Davis
  16. I think the #4 seed is more sought after than the #3 spot due to the higher likelihood of facing the Titans in round 2. I know upsets happen, so it's not guaranteed but the % chance if playing the Titans in round 2 is much higher if you finish in the 4 spot rather than the 3 spot. If your goal is the SB, then it makes complete sense to prefer a trip to Nashville over KC in the Divisional Round. The Bengals sitting all of their guys makes it very likely the Bills will be facing the Colts or Raiders (if they beat the Chargers). I think most Bills fans are going to be big Raiders fans on Sunday night
  17. I'll give you a reason why. Try selling tickets on stubhub to Bills home games in Decenber and January. I jist sold a set of 4 tickets, lower level, 50 yard line, row 40 behind the Bills bench for $19 each for this Carolina game. They cost me over $150 each. There is little to no demand for these brutally cold late season home games. It's staring to make me reconsider holding onto my season tickets (which I've had for 20 years now) as a fan whos a 7 hour drive from the stadium. I can live with losing a bit but selling tickets for 15 or 20 cents on the dollar is tough......and that's before StubHubs ever increasing fees.
  18. What a strange year. All 7 wins have bee by 15 points or more 1 blowout loss to Colts 5 games decided by 1 score or less and we've lost all 5 games (Steelers, Titans, Jaguars, Colts, Patriots & Bucs). I think McDermotts failure to go for it on 4th down when the #s clearly say you should is the biggest reason for our 0-5 mark in close games. I've noticed McDermotts 4th down aggression is most conservative in close games or when we our losing (which was his explanation again for kicking fgs). McDermott is the blackjack player who stays on 16s vs a dealer 10 because he's afraid to bust. He's a fool, and the media barely brings it up in post-game. Amazing
  19. Tremaine Edmunds is one of the worst blitzers I've ever seen. Sending him on a blitz is like playing 11 on 10. He runs right into the line and dissappears off the screen. He's become a huge liability on defense. Just look at who the Bucs decided to attack repeatedly......they too identified him as a weak link worth exploiting.
  20. Very simply put, yes. He showed something in last years week 17 game. Zack Moss has been well below replacement level at the position, so what do we have to lose. Moss shouldn't see a uniform for the rest of the season, and I'd split the carries like this: Breida: 50% Singletary: 30% Williams: 20% Bump Williams up some if he shows you something.
  21. 100%. McDermott continues to come up small in the biggest moments. The situational execution in the Redbone is maddening, the blown timeouts is maddening, the failed reviews is crazy. Handing the ball off to Zack "run into my own players" Moss is a total waste. He needs to the the blame for this game. I saw him barking at his sideline when thr clock got reset and he realized they weren't going to get the ball back. No that's on you Sean for only having 1 timeout, because you blew 2. Dude needs to take some responsibility for his failed game management.
  22. These huge Cap jumps are going to favor the better teams in my opinion. If a really crappy team had $80M in cap space and offers player A $18M per year & A good team has $45M in cap space and offers same player A $16M per year I'd imagine a lot of FA will pick the better team. Long way of saying when most teams are flush with cash its going to be tough for crappy teams to outbid the good ones.
  23. I'm not a huge fan of his as an announcer. He's always got that half baked, giggly demeanor, and never really says anything that's the least bit interesting or outside the box. Aikman and Buck are awful The MNF crew are unlistenable It's kinda crazy how many bad announcers make obscene dough. I feel like most are totally replaceable.
  24. We all know one of the Patriots defensive staples under Bills B is to bracket cover a teams #1 weapon and then stick their best CB on the teams #2 weapon That got me thinking who would Bill B identify as our #2 weapon. My answer, which I think is fairly obvious is Dawson Knox, especially when the Bills get inside the 30 yard line (or what is being called the high redzone) I think Diggs will be bracket covered by CB2 and a S and Dawson Knox is going to see a lot of physical bump and run from Kyle Dugger. We will need Cole Beasley, Emanuel Sanders and Gabe Davis to step up and make plays. This is going to be a game where Allen has to get through his progressions and systematically slice and dice his way down the field. You know the Pats will look to spy Allen and keep him from escaping the pocket, particularly to his right (where he's pretty lethal). We need Josh's A game!
  25. Who are we rooting for here? I feel like Ravens right, one teams gotta win the North, so might as well root for the Browns to stack losses.
