  1. his neck and head looked sculpted out of marble. Go Bills!
  2. were their shots on sunday? was that lil hottie who appeared last year there? im in, just made some rsvp's for a hotel near gaslamp. dont have tix yet, so me and another buddy from St. Joes, coming in from NM, are in if we get a group together for seats.
  3. sheeeit, i miss that place. The crowd on Sundya is a blast. Just moved to LA a few months ago. Watched it down here with a few bflo guys at a bar in venice that was filled with a bunch of Losman's family and high school buddies. A perfect whole in the wall.
  4. The Bflo bills fan/turd apoligized first? F him! Candyass.
  5. JP is actually is a cat napper. OK OK, so not the thorough analysis youre used to on this board, but I thought if JP was worthy of a mention, we should knwo about it. Pumped for the opener. Go BILLS!!!!
  6. There were scouts from over 20 teams at this game. The question I proposed to them was, "Who is the player or players you have seen this preseason who you think are going to play better than they have in the past (or are young players who might not have started, or were not in the NFL before this season)?" J.P. Losman, Buffalo: Threw only five passes as a rookie last season. A few scouts liked him. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/8787315
  7. I'm in LA so I havent seen the lions game yet, but based on the first 3 preseason games, Bennie is the weak link. His man is almost always in the play. Gandy has been fine, and dare i say, good. Hoping that mcgahee left, mcgahee rt, works well for us starting on Sept 11. We really need to take the pressure off JP, and 3rd and long will make for a realllll long season. Although, I wont complain about JP as he learns the NFL, b/c even Vince Feragammo would be better then watching a helpless Bledsoe.
  8. exactly i thik that was more of a message to the team that they better not go in with a lazy attitude or be prepard to pack it in after one series.
  9. Duff's is great. Exactly - I always ask for my wings extra crispy. And at Duff's i get medium so they dont come in a bowl of soup - then get hot sauce on the side. The cheeseburgers, and fries and gravy are amazing too. Hold on, i need to use my ice cream scooper to clear out my arteries. ahhhh, how i miss the buff.
  10. I'd have to believe the coaches see this on film too. Maybe Preston at Guard is a future possibility. New Orleans is just getting hammered rt now by Katrina.
  11. I have noticed that Bennie Anderson is not playing well. I keep rewinding the tivo to watch Gandy, but its benie's man that often makes the tackle.
  12. Locve this quote by Big Bennie on Gandy: Gandy's Buffalo teammates are collectively saying, "Nice try, Mike." If Gandy didn't feel the need for some payback against Bears coach Lovie Smith, he wouldn't be human. "He's a bitter, bitter, bitter, bitter man," said Bills new starting left guard, Bennie Anderson, who came over from the Baltimore Ravens. "Yeah he's angry. I thought I was an angry man."
  13. I agree, I was watching Gandy and replying the tape, but he did great. What i did notice is that Bennie cant hold a block for more than a second b/c he's too slow/fat to move with the D-lineman moving towards the ball.
  14. now these are some nice yayas http://www.thesuperficial.com/archives/003145.html despite her being the most annoying person to ever open her mouth
  15. Love this sheeeit! You'd hit tara in a minute. And if she wasnt famous, when you woke up the next day youd chew your arm off trying to get out of there.
  16. Lincoln Station is the Bills spot, with pretty good wings to boot.
  17. to top it all off, we dont need another high priced DT, we just let a good one go, who everyone really loved, b/c of his price. Why would the Bills now trade to get one who is demanding a new mega-deal? This discussion is worthless.
  18. http://www.sportsline.com/nhl/story/8704189 Regier said the Sabres aren't prepared to get into any bidding wars, instead sticking to their intention to have a payroll in the $27-29 million range -- well short of the newly imposed $39 million salary cap.
  19. hhhmmm... lets see...the new rules call for defensemen who can bring the puck up, pass well, and stickhandle...and we let one of the better ones ones like that go. im sure the sabes have plans, but you look at philly gathering another all star team and wonder what has changed....
  20. good move by roscoe and rosenhaus - this kid has a chance to start in the slot and be jp's quick go to on bltz plays. hit him aat the line and let him squirrllllllll away!.
  21. Yes. I hate to say our punter, but 2 years ago he was the best player on the team and his booming kicks kept the bills in games by destroying the other teams field position and forcing long drives. How can anyone on our D be underrated...they were 2nd in the league last year and evryone knows about them.
  22. To keep up to date with the 3 ring circus that has just begun...... Team by Team Tracker: http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/feature.asp?fid=6926 2005 Transaction Log: http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/feature.asp?fid=10407 Go sabes.
  23. posted by sound n fury: Titans | More about Henry Extension Tue, 19 Jul 2005 19:37:36 -0700 Updating previous reports, ESPN.com's John Clayton reports RB Travis Henry's four-year contract extension with the Tennessee Titans will pay him about $9.7 million and includes a $4 million team option in 2006. Henry will play for his $1.25 million salary this year with no additional upfront money. If he performs at his normal 1,300-yard level, Henry can turn the deal into a $3 million or $3.5 million contract. I cant believe he didnt get ANY more money this year, and that he signed a deal contingent on performance, when they have 2 backs. The titans really won on this deal. They get to try TH out for a year for 1.25 mil, and if they like him they can elect to keep him for 3 more years at about 3-3.5 mil per year. That is certainly cheap for a starting RB, there is no large bonus in there, and it is nothing compared to what Jordan got from Oak. Kudos to Tenn on this deal. This once again proves he isnt the sharpest knife in the drawer.
