  1. seeing that he has produced so well, why not sign him to a 5 year extension.
  2. "In re-signing Ruegamer and adding Klemm and O'Dwyer, the Packers invested just $2.97 million in total compensation for 2005. By comparison, Wahle and Rivera received signing bonuses alone totaling $19 million from their new teams." The Packs experiement will be interesting to watch. With favre back for one more year, they have a lot riding on these "inexpensive" o linemen. I think the bills add 1 more solid o lineman - either via trade, FA, or our no. 2 pick.
  3. I hope he locks clements up for 5 years. This guy is a stud, but CB have ben getting ridiculous cash.
  4. But Pat's agent got it right - he did get alot of cash! Just that the bills werent wiling to pay it.
  5. hey triumph the insult comic dog - dont quit your day job!!
  6. http://sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/c...SPGDCBOFLC1.DTL Eager: Second-year QB J.P. Losman has been putting in so much workout and study time in Buffalo that he makes it tough on his coaches to get anything else done. "I'll wander in, and he's looking at film, and he won't let me leave. Three hours later, he's saying 'five more minutes,' " said Sam Wyche, the Bills' quarterbacks coach. Not sure how to post on the main page. Gotta like word like this being passed around. Go Bills.
  7. how would we get something tangible, he is an unrestricted free agent after this season?
  8. thats what one would think, but from the rumors surrounding trading him to az, it was the opposite. Denny green wanted to see him play for them before laying down big bucks. But that also doesnt make much sense b/c travis has no leverage - he is signed and would have to go where traded, then playout his 1 year. I cant blame him much - at 26, with a 3-4 year deal, this may be his last shot a big payday. I would just think he would want to go somewhere and play his last year out, increase his exposure and get a nice contract in free agency.
  9. not a bad job, nuttin we dont already know from this board. glenn parker is an idiot. he said vonnie holiday was a tweener - then defined tweener as a player who is not good alone, but plays well when between 2 players. what??? tweener menas you dont fit the prototype in a position - such as not a typical size/speed for de or lb, but with some of the skills of both. solomon said that the bills could end up cutting henry for cap space. there isnt a chance in the world this would happen, he is signed to a very cap friendly deal. solomon then talked about the bills getting a no 1 on draft day. which is it buddy? the group said mcgahee is the key, need depth on oline and d line, and another option besides moulds and evans. they showed teague pulling against the rams and he just pancaked a linebacker. sweet! i think he'd do well at tackle.
  10. http://cbs.sportsline.com/nfl/story/8268965 i guess you can play w/ the cap all you want.
  11. http://www.nfl.com/players/playerpage/133380 http://www.nfl.com/players/playerpage/235241 stats are similar, but playing in the pathetic nfc west definately skews this. locking up players before they hit the market is always better......um.....td.....sign nate now.
  12. this is such a dumb rumor. we could never afford law. if we ever added him our lb's and secondary would be more than 50% of our entire cap. plus we have a young pro bowler under K (NATE!) and we should be concentrating on extending him, not picking up an old broken down past pro bowler.
  13. hmm. but the numbers arent that much different. do you believe that schobel is a better player for that money?
  14. tough call. id have been furious, but who wants to get in a fight over a cart? id probably say something though. the other day i was walking in a bar, and the guy ahead of me threw his cigarette behind him w/o looking, hit me in the leg. i was screaming at the guy and everyone in the bar looked at me like i was crazy. i wanted to kill him.
  15. PERECT EXAMPLE. A FRIEND MOVED BCK TO BUFF AND GOT A JOB 3 YEARS AGO DOING COLLECTIONS FOR THE COUNTY. THE COUNTY PAID ONLY 8% OF HIS SALARY, THE REST WAS FROM FEDERAL SOURCES. HE WAS BRINGING IN CLOSE TO 500K A YEAR IN COLLECTIONS (THE PERSON BEFORE HIM WAS BRINGING IN 100K). HE LOST HIS JOB. HUH????
  16. our lb's and secondary already take up a majority of our cap - we arent going to sign more big name players for these positions.
  17. mcgahee seemed to be fine turning the corner last year...especially w/ that stiff arm. wahhhhhaaa bam! i wouldnt have noticed anything about his speed, but many announcers weresaying that his speed was what had not yet returned. He looked great to me! Bring it willis.
  18. Five years, $20 million, including $9 million to sign riveria. 4 mil a year isnt too bad for a pro bowl guard.
  19. i would be very surprised if we went into the season with what we have on the team rt now. We will continue to add to the O-line, through FA and the draft. June 1 cuts may lead to some very good o lineman in FA too. I trust mularkey - he knows we will be running the ball alot and that JP needs protection to learn the game.
  20. the Redskins' seven-year, $35 million offer -- including a $13 million bonus so the skins take a 11 mil cap hit on this trade (assuming the bonus was amoritized over the 7 years of the K)? thats is huge - how can they afford that? and the jets get a good wr for 6 years at only about 3.5 per year? thats a great deal for the jets. coles has to be considered equal to moulds at this stage of moulds' career - and we pay moulds 5 mil a year. im beginning to think td isnt is great as many people think at this cap thing.
