  1. First, this is not an attack on anybody, so calm down.....but to say Jason Peters was never considered a LT is not entirely accurate. If you check the BillsDaily archives there were some scouts who considered him the 2nd best LT prospect after Robert Gallery. They felt his skill set would make a position switch very possible, and some early mocks had him as a 3rd round pick. Why he went undrafted....who the hell knows, but the Bills were not the only team thinking this. Anyways, just a fun little tidbit not many remember hearing about. Carry on. Oh, and as for a link just go to the BillsDaily draft page from the year Peters was drafted and you will see they had the Bills taking Peters in their mock.
  2. Does anybody know if we signed these guys "on the cheap"......?
  3. It is a complete injustice that the Chinese people are suffering because of OneBillsDrive dragging their feet as usual.lol
  4. They gotta get em by the weekend right? Rookie minicamp is this weekend is it not?
  5. I would also like to add that I don't think Mario Williams is patiently waiting for Kelsay to be cut so he can grab the number either. He just doesn't strike me as that type of person.
  6. Mark Anderson hasn't picked a new # either Maddog, but yeah, I too am wondering why all this has not been figured out by now....
  7. The only thing I would have done different is draft Floyd at 10 and drafted highest ranked CB in the 3rd. I like our draft a lot now but would love it if this change was made.
  8. I voted Wilson because the worst case scenario is he can probably provide a much better spark off the bench than Thigpen, MAAAAAYBE push Fitz a little down the road in a year or two.
  9. I think you did a fine job, and like a few here, only really question Sanu out of your first 4 picks. But, the guys who I would prefer over Sanu will probably not be there so it is still a good "consolation" pick if you will. Two names that probably won't be there are Ruben Randle and Coby Fleener btw. When you get to the 5th round and later it's anybodys guess at that point but I like most of your picks anyways. Good job sir.
  10. I like this mock very much. Both those OT's have nice upside as well. McCants needs to build some strength and you just may have to be a little patient with Datko and give his shoulder proper time to heal, but both could be solid starters by their 2nd year at the latest.
  11. Most importantly, get better ASAP, I hope you have a quick recovery. One thing though, if you make any predictions about the Bills drafting WR Stephen Hill at #10, I will find you and finish you off myself LOL! Other than that, many prayers and well wishes coming your way my man!
  12. nobody thinks he's out of shape, just not strong enough. Plus I'm not sure he has elite LT athleticsm either. His selection wouldn't dissapoint me, but I do believe we wait til round 2 and still land a very similar prospect like Zebrie Sanders........
  13. He IS better, we shoulda snagged him when we had the chance, but God forbid we threaten Fitz with capable QB play.
  14. Folks, ask youselves this: If Kelsay was cut, would he even be picked up by another team? That's what I thought. Time to move on into the future.
  15. Anderson has always been more of a speedrusher/specialist type, while Merriman showed (while he was healthy) that he can still "set the edge" very effectively. These 2 could be a pretty effective rotation at RE position if used right. I am also very interested if Carrington beats out Kelsay for the guy who spells Mario. I def like our rotation if Anderson signs.....a lot.
  16. I will say this now: Lock up Byrd ASAP because the last time we were running a 4-3 the dude had 9 picks. Better get him before they start adding up again. Of course, I want both guys long term, I guess I'd be 51% Byrd and 49% Levitre
  17. I don't know if any of the Perry/Curry types have the change of direction skills needed. They might, but I'm just sayin I don't know for sure. I believe Branch tested well in those types of drills if I recall.......
  18. We DO need to add a OT, and while I believe it doesn't need to be at 10, it probably does have to happen at our 2nd pick at the latest. I don't wanna try and get too slick ya know? lol
  19. Just one thing, yes, most of the time quicker and faster LBers tend to be a little smaller, but they don't HAVE to be. I know they are rare, but a LB who is big AND fast is just a nice bonus for this scheme. Sorry, I was having a terrible Cover 2 flash back! We don't have to get "small" at LB people.
  20. Should OT not be the pick at 10 we could always target someone like Zebrie Sanders in the 2nd round. The dropoff from Rieff/Martin to someone like Sanders isn't very much. Just food for thought.
  21. He is afraid to get hit, big time. Crack jokes aside, I see almost 100% SEC games her in Tenn, and trust me, this guy is a taller and bigger Bucky Brooks, a guy who got drafted in the 2nd round by our Bills because of combine numbers. Hopefully no team repeats this mistake.
  22. I'm gonna go smoke 10,000 dollars worth of crack, come back, and still not be able to post a sillier pick at #10. This guy is a 4th round talent as a football player. Damn.....just damn.
  23. Agreed. Meachem would be a total waste of money. VJax, Colston, or Robinson. If not one of them, ya gotta draft one then.
