I think they view Hairston as a RT John.......he is way too top heavy to be a full time LT, at least right now. I wouldn't mind another LT type drafted to develope though, Bell hasn't proven to be a 16 plus game durable player......

Had successful surgery been reported? I'm on board with bringing him back, I'm not very high on the long term development of any of these young guys we have. As long as he had the surgery and is already ready to rehab, why wouldn't you see what he's got next camp?

Even if he doesn't go on the shelf I don't see him regaining much of his explosiveness this season. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, I am a doctor LOL. Seriously though, I hope Troupe heals up and shows something, or else I think bringing in a Kelly Gregg type veteran to spell Williams would be a good idea for next year.

Starting to think he'll have to shut it down for the year. Hopefully Troupe's lower back doesn't linger all year as well. This D needs one more good offseason of overhauling anyways.....they are soft and slow.

While Dareus has been playing LE Buff Barbarian, he would probably be a phenominal NT if they played him there exclusively. Anyways, back to Troup, I really hope the guys pans out.....

While not a rising star, a guy who works hard and has found his nitche so to speak. Not a number 1 or 2 WR , but a guy who in multiple WR sets, has a good feel for things and knows how to get open. Def a great UDFA signing!

Yes but will we be able to run out of these formations late in the year in bad weather? That is what is concerning folks...........

My name is Jason, and I endorse this thread. Been crying for a 2 back or 2 TE set as a complimentary formation all year!

I would rather find a big time TE to pair up with Chandler so we didn't have to rely on the spread "all of the time". I'm just not comfortable with the spread late in the year and when we just have to get downright "physical". I don't see us picking high enough for a true difference maker at WR and hate WR's who only just bring speed to the table. Like JohnFromHemet said, a speed only reciever is basically a waste in this offense. Find a big time TE, and keep loading up on defensive players!

Also, we need to develope another formation or two besides the spread......that crap really won't work in Dec and Jan.........

After the first 3 I was hoping for a 6-2 start, but didn't think they would make Dalton look so good. But that's the Bills D, SOFT.............KINDA SLOW, and Leodis "I can't read good" McKelvin.......

I second DrDareustein's thread. I too am enjoying the ride so far but am not a blind homer either. We absolutely still have some weak spots on this team with overall speed on D being probably the most glaring. Nothing wrong with being familiar with players who can fill some of those voids! Once again don't worry, I think 99% of us are enjoying this start.

I've lived in Tenn for 10 years now there are great fans down here. UT's great sophmore WR, Justin Hunter, is out for the year with a ACL so UB probably has a chance to cover the spread at least. lol Have a great time man!

Yeah dgrid, put me on the pass rusher list as well, probably a guy who plays Kelsays spot. We do need another CB, but I'm hoping we get a solid one in free agency. I HATE using first round picks on those guys!!! I wouldn't be against a great TE to pair with Chandler either, late 1st round is usually the "luxury" spot for those Gronkowski/Heath Miller types....

Chandler is the best TE we've had in a while, but he's no Pro Bowler people. But like I said, he's definitely capable of playing at a level of a healthy Kevin Boss. A solid, reliable player if you will......
