  1. 7-8 M per yr for Fitz, about 5-6 for Stevie, and about 5 for Freddie. That is my opinion on what the new deals should be, not what the current ones are.
  2. 9 minutes after the game I already killed 20 Raider male fans who have never even been to California !!!! LOL They are a chick team, just like the Cowboys!!!
  3. it's OK if someone starts a new one with like 5 secs left in the game ya know......
  4. Bump, Boss has been playing, Chandler has been behind Gates and Witten. They have taken different paths, but yeah, they are basically the same player. Like I said, barring injury, I guarantee Chandler at least matches Boss's best statistical season, if not surpass it, which he is already on pace to do. Also, Boss only has a rep as a dominating blocker by a few TE starved posters here, not in reality. He gets the job done, but dominating he is not.
  5. Boss and Chandler have almost exactly the same size and skillset, which is why I am glad the Bills didn't pursue him in free agency, it would have been a waste. Boss isn't any more effective than Chandler, they are almost exactly the same player.
  6. I like Fred and all, but no where near Davis. But even at 30, I think he has a good 3-4 years of full time work left in the tank, with probably another 2 used in a Kevin Faulk type role. In the end, not Davis, but could play till much older barring serious injury.
  7. The best we could do is Reggie fricken Corner!?!? Reggie fricken Corner!?!?!? Man I hope McGee gets well fast because I can't stand Reggie fricken Corner. No, Reggie "automatic first down" Corner! Hopefully Terrence Wheatley catches on fast as well. Man, I hope Corner doesn't have to play any......
  8. Looks like he could even exceed my expectations.........Stay healthy Scott!!!
  9. Attention Kevin Boss fanclub......little fun bet here..... Chandler equals Boss career statistical average
  10. Lower back stuff is scary, I hope he gets the proper rest and lets it heal. Hopefully Heard could hold the fort for a short time if Troupe needs to miss any time.....
  11. You mean the guy who made it OK to be a redneck?
  12. Warner comparison is way off. He was a total unknown really. We've seen a decent body of Fitzpatrick's work, and Maddog is right. Wish he wasn't, but that's life in Bills land right now.
  13. Yeah, he could have moved into the Kelsay role. OLB on early downs with a vicious 4 man line of Merriman, Dareus, Williams, and Bowers in nickle and dime situations! Oh well......
  14. I too wanted Miller and we can't predict injuries. But I'm betting Chandler basically matches Boss's career year before this season anyways. Yeah, Miller would have been great. Sigh....
  15. While I like the Williams pick, would have loved DaQuan Bowers! I believe he would have really finished off the front 7 and we could have gone for another CB in free agency. Oh well, we'll see how Bowers knees holds up long term, but word out of Tampa is he is healthy and lookin good.
  16. No, some here were hyping the secondary cause they read it was ranked pretty well stat wise. In reality, it was always an average group at best. With the addition of Williams though, the group has the potential to be slightly above average and a little tougher. I think we can win with the group, but I wouldn't mind one more higher draft pick added to the front 7, someone with good pass rush ability.
  17. 42 rec, 567 yards, 5 TD's Wow, that's Boss's best season! I'm changing the bet that Chandler comes close to matching that! 40 catches, 500 yards and 5 TD's are Chandlers milestones he must reach, along with earning a reputation as an average to effective blocker. This only becomes void if Chandler misses more than 3 games with an injury.
  18. I'll look up Boss's stats in a bit, and try and average them for one season (not very good at math though, wouldn't mind some help lol). Anyways, I never thought he would help any more than Chandler could, he's (Chandler) always been on TE loaded teams, and Boss just never impressed me much. Thought his blocking was average at best and only a so so reciever. So the friendly bet is a journeyman type in Chandler easily matches Boss career ave production and is at least an equally effective blocker. If I lose I'll use a funny signature or something for a year if I win we all win cuz at least we get decent TE production, better than it has been at least. Feel free to throw around some silly signatures, I'll try and average out Boss career production and show it's so easy a caveman could do it. lol
  19. Eh, tough to tell. Both are probably career #2 at best case scenario's, and Smith probably provides the better blocking upside though, which will come in handy come Dec/Jan.....
  20. Yeah, Batten would be nice but I'm not holding my breath. Hope he proves me wrong though! One less hole!
