  1. Also, the whole Lee Evans is costing too much money thing needs to stop. He already got most of it and has 2years left at 4M per year. Pretty cheap these days.........
  2. If all the right things happened, sure, it could be possible to reach 11-5 or 10-6 with Fitz, but it would have to be one of those rare years where everyone stayed healthy and all the breaks went our way. For what it's worth, my 1st 4 choices as our 1st pick would be Bowers, Mallet, Fairley, and maybe Newton (after a very VERY extensive background check) in that order.
  3. Although I love the way he plays the position, you're only gonna get around 8-8 at best with Fitzpatrick at QB. I'm fine with him starting another year or two though.
  4. Hali will never hit the market. If KC can't strike a deal, I smell franchise tag. Vilma would have made sense at the time, but he is much more effective in a 4-3.
  5. I'm right on board with this thread. A guy like Harris on D and a TE like Z Miller, Kevin Boss or (if the Jags were stupid enough to let him hit free agency), Mercedes Lewis for the O. Like someone already said, it can't all be from the draft and this approach wouldn't be crazy Redskins spending spree either.
  6. I know the correct (or politically correct term).
  7. If anyone was offended, they are uptight. I have quite a few asian friends I'm just calling it what it is: Oh, Buffalo is so tiny, we need to make friends with Toronto and China to survive. STFU Russ Brandon.
  8. All it is is it would be cool for the Bills to have the first Chinaman playing in the NFL angle. Nice PR move Bills.
  9. In practice they probably noticed he's nowhere near strong enough to play G. He'll be Bell's backup at best.
  10. Kill Whitey!!!!!!!!! Er, I mean Roger Goodell. Seriously.
  11. Actually Phihansonfan Levitre is hands down the Bills best Olineman it's just people refuse to to acknoledge it because he was drafted a round lower than Wood. Matter of fact you could argue Bell has had a better year than Wood as well but it's pretty much a toss up there.
  12. Even if we pick the top LT in the draft we'll be picking him about 20 slots too high. So guess what folks..........IT'S NOT GONNA HAPPEN!!! Carimi or Love in the 2nd and we'll be fine.
  13. Costanzo isn't even a top 20 prospect. Franchise QB or top front 7 defensive player are the only ways to go. Or, if we actually had a strong free agency (yeah right), I could understand WR AJ Green being the pick. A true #1 WR and legit top 3 talent.
  14. Simply not athletic enough for the NFL.
  15. ALL LBers get blown up by O-linemen. A 250 lb man is gonna move backwards against a 320lb man. It's physics. That said, I'd like to see Poz as the weakside ILB and someone like David Harris as the strongside "thumper" ILB.
  16. Tony G had 96 catches under Gailey freakshow808 . Should the Bills pull a surprise and draft AJ Green, sure, you then see what you can get for Evans........
  17. There's a QB named Ryan Fitzpatrick on the Bills who would be a pretty nice player for Mallet to learn from for a year or two while the o-line continues to get better. Just sayin. All we really need is a RT and a TE and the O is set. The D......................
  18. 100% agree with your list Magox. I'd add Merriman if they could get him a new achilles, but those injuries are career killers.....
  19. It will be a good test for Bell and I'm also interested in seeing Bell getting a full offseason to train healthy. However, I don't understand the urge of some people wanting to move him to RT. As of right now he doesn't have the brute power to fit there and it really doesn't suit his style IMO. I would be fine with a Mallet 1st Demarcus Love (or one of the many other RT prospects) 2nd draft though Bill! Love is built like a RT although it would also be nice to have the option of probably being able to move him to LT if we had to down the line. I think he could eventually play either side in the NFL.
  20. I knew someone would bring up Bruce but come on man, Reggie NEVER played in a 3-4. But like I said, you make a place for a guy like Fairly. I'm not sure Darius is a perfect fit in anything other than the Warren Sapp "penetrator" role. I said not sure about, not positive though concering Darius.
  21. or make others around them look better no matter the scheme. Touche' Dr. Even if 3-4 no matter what is the goal it would be hard to not at least LIKE the selection of Fairly. You might not love it, but I don't see how you could knock it either.
  22. I like both of em' but really can't see taking a 3-4 DE in the top 10. Now, were we to revert back to the 4-3 full time like we have been playing a lot more of lately I could absolutely see Fairly next to Kyle "the truth" Williams on a 4 man line! The question is: are the Bills hell bent on going to a 3-4 no matter what?.............
