  1. Only Chris Kelsay could warrant such a outburst of emotion!
  2. That's exactly it Dr., he was taken 8th. Sure, he's not the next Ronnie Lott, Atwater, or Pomahairlu, but guess what, he's only 25 years old with a lot a solid football left to be played. Sure, he can look bad at times against some bigger and physical TE's, but if I recall H Jones was a regular B word against a good TE as well. How about we bring in a nice swift LB for those assignments whose name ain't Keith Ellison?!?! edit......or Chris Kelsay!!!!!!
  3. Once Carrington gets a feel for the pro game I feel he'll be a very nice complimentary player. I agree, keep getting this guy more reps.
  4. Really Void? I'm sure we'd all rather have Ngata but Whitner is a very solid safety and has produced. He's the best SS the Bills have had in the last 20 years and that includes Henry Jones and the past his prime Lawyer Milloy. Take away Jones 8 int year (when the Bills had a pass rush, remember that?) and Jones ain't even on the list.
  5. The Bills need to go after Zack Miller of the Raiders HARD if he makes it to free agency.
  6. Keep seeing the younger core of the team develope and still end up with Ryan Mallet, Bruce Carter, or a top D-lineman.
  7. Nelson has def been a dissapointment. Hopefully we can find a solid all around guy this offseason while Nelson can grow as the complimentary guy.
  8. It's like this: Fitz is not the problem right now, but he's not the answer later. Plain and simple.
  9. Agree that a solid all-around TE could really almost finish off this offense as a complete unit. You can't have it all but of course one more RT and big time QB would be nice too!
  10. I'm with you. I'm still all for drafting Mallet if we still have a chance to and letting him develope behind Fitz for a year or even two. Trust me, in the long run it will be the right move.........
  11. Just as long as he's only rushing and not covering, I don't mind him having a part time role. Once we get more players for this D he'll be a nice second wave guy.
  12. Why is David Martin still starting at TE? Get the other Nelson in there for Christ's sake!
  13. I find it laughable when I still read a post here and there when a poster will just randomly yell.... "if Luck ain't there just draft a LT". 1st, there are no top 10 worthy LT's coming out this year anyways, and 2nd LT is far from this teams biggest need. This is coming from a guy who has bashed Bell as much as anyone on this board. Yes, I'm willing to accept I was in the wrong somewhat. Anyways, in order of weakness/importance the teams biggest needs are OLB, QB (a real one, though I love Fitz as a backup), RT, and TE. As to O-line, RT, not LT, is by far this teams biggest weakness.
  14. Both of these guys would be franchised before being allowed to leave. If anyone thinks otherwise you're high on glue.
  15. The TBD pro personel experts would have probably gotten this team about 50 more wins this last decade unfortunately....
  16. Guys, it's not like a bunch of people are hating on Fitz. Most of us are happy to have him on the team, myself included. But for this team to really turn into a powerhouse, we'll need a QB with superior tools. The good news is, with Fitz here we won't have to start that guy day 1. But that guy will have to come with a very high 1st round pick, sorry, but that's the facts jack.
  17. Fitz= nice backup but not the guy who will take you to the promised land. End of discussion.
  18. Unfortunately John there is no OT or LB worth a top 5 pick my man. Franchise QB is the way to go, grab one while you can. I like Fitz, but the beauty of grabbing a franchise QB is we will not have to throw him to the wolves with Fitz around. Fitz can be the new age Frank Reich.
  19. Like I said all offseason, the Bills secondary is extremely overrated. People are starting to see it now though. I'm still against drafting any high DB's this next draft, but probably in 2012 we'll need to.
  20. This could be a decent upgrade folks. Wrotto from what Gailey has said has very good strength and also a little over a full season of NFL playing time. Hey, at least it could get Howard out of the lineup who I'm not happy with at all. The dude didn't play any better than Green IMO. Yeah, I said that. A little more info on buffalobills.com if ya want it. I still want a RT in the 1st 3 rounds or free agency, but Wrotto may end up a solid backup at least. Keep an eye on him O-line fanatics.........You know who you are!
  21. He'll be here next year if we franchise his ass. That is, if he is anywhere near his old form. Stay tuned...........
  22. Hopefully Howard doesn't get Fitz killed.............
